I'm painting today and watching your videos during my little breaks. Sir, you make such a masterful way of painting look so effortless! Your a blessing to the watercolour community. 🙏
@AndrewPittArtist hope your having an amazing week by the coast Sir. Thankyou again, your videos have been invaluable whilst healing from surgery, they've literally kept me sane whilst I couldn't be upright to paint myself. 🙏
Marvelous! It's amazing how well your brush handles the situation... I look forward to the next video, to see how it ends up. Thank you very much, Mr. Pitt.
You have the great virtue of making easy and simple what is difficult. Many thanks for your lessons and to show us the way for to learn from a great teacher. Hugs from Spain.
Thanks, that’s very nice of you. Remember easy and simple are not the same. In fact it can be hard to keep things simple. Thanks again for your kind comments. www.andrewpitt.come.uk
I've been waiting eagerly for Part 2 and you didn't disappoint! Your tree trunk colours are fabulous, I love watching you mix these. Thanks to you & your wife for filming these lessons. Looking forward to Part 3!
So beautiful it is amazing to see how you make everything work. The form of the trees the way the gate appeared. You are a master artist and tutor. Thank you for sharing.
Wow this certainly changes my ideas about colour. I spend so much time making sure my colours are consistent throughout the painting. Going to try this and see what happens. Thanks.
Really enjoy your tutorials and yes your watercolours do look fresh, interesting you mention after completing the sky and background that the painting was worth finishing, I’m guessing then some don’t make it to the finish line which makes me feel better as I have a draw full a failures
Love to see how you use different mixes of colors to form the tree trunks! Thank you for sharing. May I ask why we can use 'blue' on the trunks or branches? Is it to show the reflection of sunlight?
Thanks for getting in touch. I added the blue as a bit of ‘naughty colour’ and it mixed with the colour on the paper which was still wet to give a grey. www.andrewpitt.co.uk
Unfortunately Chinese calligraphy brushes don’t have a number, and there is no universal numbering system for brushes. Think medium size, say size 6 to 8.
