Been a big fan of Trivium for a while, but it never occurred to me how much Corey contributes to the vocals. I legit never thought about him adding in screams, I just thought it was all Matt. Both of them sound fucking phenomenal here, but it was a pleasant surprise to find out that Corey shreds as well as screams.
I think up to TSATS Matt did all the screams on the record but live it´s impossible to do it alone so Corey´s been backing him up since the beginning. On the latest album there are even parts where only Corey screams (shadow of the abattoir 4:42). He´s a badass being able to play complex riffs and screaming at the same time.
Corey is the live dirty vocals. and Paulo. Matt doesn't do much dirty vocals live anymore. Matt had an injury so the band took over the dirty vocal part. Still the same group of mates though, nothing much has changed, if anything they just keep raising the bar and improving. Trivium is vastly underrated but as far as bands go, as solid as they come.

Dude, my I was a jock in high school that listened to rap and a little Metallica. I met this hardcore Metal head and he showed me this my freshman year of high school. Never again Have I listened to rap and they have remained my favorite.
