Money and billboard rankings doesn´t make a good band. Metallica plays since 1991 ´til nowadays cheap riffs and sell it as pure gold to the masses. A genius trick, admittedly.

I was just thinking that today when I was listening to Trivium's Vengeance Falls, actually been listening to a lot of there albums again for the millionth time in the last several weeks. I honestly think Trivium is probably the closest to being a successor to Metallica than any other band. Lyrically, vocally, intensity and for sure respect to Metallica. I love when Trivium used to do Master Of Puppets live and happy that they did a studio version of it too. Trivium is cut from a very similar cloth to Metallica in my humble opinion, and it's great to see how far they have come since I started listening to them in 2005. My first album from Trivium that I heard was Ascendancy, became an instant fan and of course felt Metallica vibes instantly, but they've really come into their own, they're an amazing band, and I still think that as great as they've become that they are still underrated, but still they continue to grow. Great performance here through and through.
