The entire Ember to Inferno album deserves a re-recording with this kind of production.
That's literally what Ember to Inferno: Ab initio is, they re recorded back in 2017 if Im not wrong

@@bcan no. For example this version of the song is in drop C# so a little lower than the recorded one, and they use this as their actual live/studio tuning on most of their songs. The original version and the remastered is a semitone higher

Ruben Vineh absolutely, they always get put on early during festivals and have really short sets when they deserve a headline spot
Sam Gomez I wholeheartedly disagree. In waves was probably their 2nd or third best album after ascendency, and they have finally found a way to sing cleanly without forcing it like the crusade. They have evolved and have refused to stay stagnant in writing the same shit over and over again. Music is subjective, but these guys can clearly write music with many different elements, and I appreciate the evolution. Some of my other favorite bands haven't evolved and have fallen off because of it.
Ruben Vineh maybe not the most unappreciated but they’re aren’t as popular as they should be. I know a lot of bands that get a lot less than trivium.

Joe Harris Gunshot kicks ass live. I was caught off guard when those intro machine gun drums and harmony chords kicked in last time I saw them. They also played He Who Spawned the Furies and I went absolutely apeshit. Only my 5th time seeing them and they always find a way to put a killer setlist together and throw in some classics.
6 years ago when you wrote this comment, they remembered their older songs. Now things have changed since Alex Bent entered the band, he is a good drummer I can't deny but his presence has killed old Trivium and nowadays they sound like a total different band

The whitechapel re-master did sound worse than the original I think, but that was only a re-mastering of the songs. I think Sean meant they should re-record the whole album since the members of trivium have definitely become better at their instruments and matts vocals are waay better now that he's an adult lol I think he was like 18 when they recorded ember to inferno.
On the other hand though, Lamb of God re-mastered As The Palaces Burn and it was fucking incredible!
Yeah a lot of bands have done it successfully, I think whitechapel either didn't have the cash to get it done better, or they just hired the wrong guy

Matt is one of the few vocalists that sound even better live. I really like the screaming trade offs from the Chapman recordings.Trivium as a whole has always been fantastic live. Can't wait to see you guys in Michigan soon!

Such a great band
Saw them live in March and they kicked several kinds of butt on the night. Technically flawless. Matt's voice was outstanding and Nick was an animal on the drums. Didn't play a bum note the whole night. One word for the naysayers - FOAD!!

Although Matt said he couldn't sing, which some live performances his singing wasn't too great, this performance and some others, he totally sings great.

Everybody can agree that the way Nick has changed the older songs to add his little personal touch makes this band so much more hardcore and the beats, if the people that read this are drummers, well if you compare, Nicks beats are wayyyyyyy harder and sophisticated than Travis' beats by a longshot. Props to Nick!

My opinion - I think this is their best song. May not be the most technical, not the most screams or whatever, but for me it's just got such a beautiful sound and some great melodies in there which make it #1! The chorus is definitely the best I've heard, too. My opinion though ;)

Bayley McNamee To be fair, all of A7X can do some form of vocals and all have pretty unique voices from one another; and did it in the studio. M Shad-Husky Baritone, The Rev-Scratchy Light Tenor, Syn-Full Tenor, Zacky-Lyric Baritone, Johnny Christ-Low Tenor with decent screams and growls lol (not the best singer though . Trivium, three of them sing and 2 are baritones and Pablo is a high ass tenor :/ Still a great band, and at least all 3 of them can actually sing (unlike Johnny Christ)

Ember to Inferno was one of the first Metal-Core albums to be recorded, and it was also one of the last that mixed thrash elements with a Metal-Core sounds. Trivium is keeping that sound alive though. \m/
