I listened to this song for the first time in 2008 when i was 7 years old, it played at the credits of the resident evil apocalypse movie, and i really loved that song and it was the beginning of my love for metal and rock, and here i am 2023 and i am 22 now and still listening to this all time masterpiece, thank you killswitch engage ❤️
I've been at so many of his shows singing along at the top of my lungs, it was always that way. I love them both, just prefer Howard's live. I miss them being together dearly 🥺🤘❤️
Dang right Jimmy !! My first buy was End of heartache. I still blast that. Then I saw this whole concert on UA-cam. A few years back went to the river City Rockfest in San Antonio Texas. To my surprise Jesse was back in. The band rocked but Jesse's vocals were nowhere near to Howard's. Then went to knotfest in Austin. Again the band was heavy. But Jesse can't come close to Howard. I'll still go to a KSE concert. But your right, it's not the same. Anyway I will crank this one out anytime. ✌️
It's because he's doing a harmony version instead of the actual melody on the "seek me, call me" part. And it just works SO WELL! These guys are fucking incredible
If you watch Adam, he's lip syncing in this. I thought it sounded too good, so i started watching him. The camera hits him for a second and you hear him and hit lips aren't moving. Still badass though.
Dryvrband if he was lip syncing then on the bits where he didn't sing the chorus his backing track would have still been him singing. So it is him live :)
This is at the palladium in Worcester MA, One of the best venues in the world. its worth traveling too. ive been there countless times being lucky to only be 30 mins away. Many shows have been recorded live here due to its amazingness. if you ever have a chance to go to a show there you must do it!! fuck the greek, viper room, sunset strip, all dat famous crap. this venue is the best. hands down. talent booking is also on point.
Howard Jones is such a badass vocalist! His voice is like an angel's that was once a demon!! Imagine if both he and Jesse leach were singers together in killswitch engage.
Live at concerts they kinda do .... They have Howard in the back kinda like avenged does with the rev..... So fucking sick abq new mexicos number 1 fan !!!! Meet me in the pit abq!!!
Adam is my absolute favorite character in heavy music… no one else would think to wear daisy dukes and a Dracula cape but Adam D 😂 dude has written and produced some of the best killer music in metal and dresses like count mango 😂
'' I wana hear voice in this place!!. Are you ready !!. Everybody on top, Everybody down here CMONNNNN !!!!!!!! - SEEEEEEK MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE '' - what an intro
It's pretty spooky how one song can send you back in time mentally and stir up the EXACT same feelings that you had back when you first heard that particular song. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love it!
I had their songs on the first x box 360 and playing it in the background as I played far cry and everytime I listen to their songs I’m back in 2006 in my room playing that game. Pretty crazy what music can do.
I've been to over 100 concerts. 5 of them were KSE. 3 were headlined by Jones and he is my favorite all time live vocalist. He sounds like this every time.
Dustin Tavolazzi Have you ever seen him live with Killswitch? He absolutely KILLS Howard in a lot of his own songs. That video he was sick so it's an unfair comparison to make.
And I saw KSE with Howard multiple times, he NEVER sounded as good as he did here. He is an amazing vocalist in his own right and was incredibly consistent for his time with KSE, but Jesse doesn't get the credit he deserves.
Man, this band got me through a lot when I was younger. Howard, Jesse, it didn't matter for me. I got through a lot of firsts with the help of this band. This song in particular holds a special place in my heart. Thanks for all the memories KSE.
I see no one talking about Take This Oath, that is one of the songs that got me into KSE like 15+ years ago and that performance is just flawless. Amazing video.
The Massachusetts Metal scene/movement was one of the best things that could’ve ever happened in the metal genre and its counterparts. Those handful of bands and a few others from around the country back then, early 2000’s, is as an important part of music history as that of bands like Zeppelin, Floyd, Eagles, KISS, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Death and so many more that go without mentioning. And my ass was lucky enough to be in high school and see bands like Killswitch, As I Lay Dying, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, In Flames, Trivium, Soilwork, Unearth, Diecast, Devildriver and a shitload more climb to the top. Even got to experience dozens of them perform their first albums live. Lucky me 😊😊😊🤘🏼🤘🏼✌🏻🖖🏻 #metalforever

The way he holds that mic. A mighty sword in the hand a truly glorious warrior.

I'm pretty sure the audio was enhanced for the dvd but still, great effort.
