I somehow managed to beat arcade mode on highest difficulty with Jacek. Samuel’s a pain but I somehow managed. Aiming for the sword arm seems to be the best strategy.
Great update, btw kinda confusing because now we have 2 Samuels, maybe it's some kind of Fight Club "in the head" type of deal or maybe they're twins lol, either way, interesting that he has armor, maybe we could see a mode with armor and so on (there are different armors used through the 17th century, from full and half plate armor, to chain mail and scale armor (including other stuff such as plated mail, or padded armor)
The playable samuel is just his regular form, not well prepared like his boss counterpart. The boss samuel is way stronger and well prepared, he got armor so he need to take 3 hits to get beaten.

Hello EP, good to see you making a new video on Hellish Quart. This update is really something, but I wonder if the difficulty of Arcade mode isn't set a liiittle too high overall. I played Arcade at "They can't even fight!" level, and managed to get 3 wins on Samuel... only to lose all the the times in the 4th and final bout, and having to restart the unfair fight from the very beginning, again and again. At least at "easy level", a checkpoint between the first 3 rounds and the 4th would be welcomed by me. What do you think of it?
I really like it, Hellish quart really needs more content and storylines, overall it needs more stuff like this to make the game larger and have more content
I am glad you finally back to hellish quart, about the boss uptade, i was excepting the 4 new characters from the poster, góral, guy with skirt, sava and smallsword guy, but nonethless, great uptade, because having just the boss for the first time with real cutscenes it really changes the aspect of the game! (It would be even cooler if samuel had unique dialogues to each character) Samuel to Jacek: So you are here to take my head? Comon! Samuel to Gedeon: You are a worthless old man! Samuel to Kalkstein: I don't know who you are, but your gonna die! Samuel to Father Zera: You are too drunk to fight me monk!
thanks, i was wondering what was being said, i wish there was at least subtitles, im pretty sure kubold knows english so idk what happened Edit: the kalkstein one 🤣, samuel should be banished from hellish quart for insulting the god of hellish quart
@@EquestrierPugna ops sorry for bad dialogue, i didn't read his lore, and actually samuel has robbed kalkstein and make trouble to him or something. Now kalkstein seek revenge and wants to kill him.

@@EquestrierPugna I think some way to make things more balanced would be reducing stamina and stamina regeneration speed, making the character(s) to have fewer move and slower movement (which is realistic since the armor restricts movement the wearer), or making the armor less effective overtime. (Although it's still a pain to the bone to fight armored person) Anyway, does execution work on the boss? I mean it would be quite hilarious seeing Marie or Mafra stabbing through armor
That’s a good question, unfortunately balancing things with the Stam would do nothing for me because I always play with infinite Stam LMAO, I don’t think fully armored characters should be going against unarmored opponents although since there’s no way to make it balanced ENOUGH for it to work especially if you’re trying to be somewhat realistic like kubold is

Does armor really apply or they just have him a ton of hp on every single body part?
armour does work
The armor almost works but I think it eventually hits him underneath the plates if you keep trying
what do you think the morale does? enhances your speed, stamina, damage perhaps?
The more you have the more chances you get to rematch.

Yeah but I think it should be in the form of a new game mode (armored game mode) with armored opponent vs other armored opponent
