Duels among them used surprisingly little contact between the swords. -Arab w/scimitar. -Mongol with Mongol sword. -The bad guy from Highlander (no decapitation necessary, of course), with voicework by Clancy Brown. -More polearm stuff. These were the real main weapons of medieval times and, from what I read, superior to swords because of their versatility, simplicity, inexpensiveness and advantage in reach and leverage.

I like how the match can end after just one strike - even if the injury isn’t fatal, it’s severe enough that the opponent can’t continue the fight (just like real life): none of that “health bar” shit and ridiculous amounts of damage being taken before an adversary is beaten.
