Ok, if I'm being extremely generous to Zack Snyder, the whole burning corpses thing might be a means to extract/provide energy from/to the interdimensional god being. But if that's true then that would be yet another thing he's lifted from Warhammer 40K.

its ok. the angle of the roof in that room was too steep for the robots to enter. so that explains why the robots were not there to protect the king.
so, that robot at the very beginning may be a rip off of "The Twins" from Atomic Heart. They are very sexy robot body guards, who appear to be wearing skin-tight body suits with their faces comprised of a polished, mirror like mask. They are shockingly human-like in every aspect, almost to the point of being in the uncanny valley.
I feel like that's where that inspiration came from. Falls in line with these movies stealing everything from anything that's remotely popular.

Superficially adult. I think you’ve just hit the proverbial nail on the head. Not just for this film, but for the quality of most content that is being released today.
I was just thinking about the immaturity behind supporters of the recent Star Wars offering The Acolyte. Their “reasoning” makes no wonder if they are actually children in an adults body.
If you haven’t seen The Acolyte I’m conflicted as to recommend it or not. It is both the worst, yet best example of bad Star Wars to date. Knowing that going in, I think you will simply laugh the whole way through.
To be fair, it's the most accurate depiction the results of Bolter fire I've ever seen.

If there is one thing I have learned from Zach Snyder films is that you shouldn't waste your time on a movie because he's just gonna release his Snyder cut later on.
If Snyder's previous director's cuts are anything to go off of, these will be fundamentally the same movies with most if not more of the same flaws that were present in the originals. I don't think such content would be deserving of a full plot synopsis, since you'd likely end up repeating yourself. However, if you do end up making a video/videos on the director's cuts, I feel like the formula you took to comparing the extended editions of Lord of the Rings would probably be the wisest course of action. Also getting hit in the face with a gun would not produce so much ugly CGI blood IRL.

You do seriously have to wonder why a directors cut is necessary or even possible when the director had full creative control... I don't think censoring blood is a good enough excuse. You shouldn't need to cut any scene out and if you do than you don't have creative control do you? So which is it? The only reason I can think of is Netflix knows the whole meme about Synder nd directors cut and it thinks it would make this film bigger only it backfired terribly. No one is going watch this after what were the now directors lesser cuts version.

Apparently Zack shot a bunch of scenes specifically for the director's cut and he said that this cut is more like a parallel dimension or alternative timeline because of how different the cuts are. So maybe in this new version - his true vision - the enslaved interdimensional being is indeed being freed instead of being blown up. Whatever. Guess all we can do is wait - but if true, then there could be some different outcomes of scenes we've got before. Can't wait to see people/efap react to it ^^ (I know MauLer said he won't watch the director's cut, but hell I need an efap of it XD )

This is a very impractical galactic empire design for making a dominant space fleet... unless there is an imperial breeding facility for the not-catan.

The song played in the trailer is "Go Dig My Grave" by Lankum. It's about a girl committing suicide after she is dumped by her boyfriend, leaving burial instructions for her parents. Don't know what the heck any of that has to do with these movies but it's a good tune. Too bad the song, much like these movies, is too long. It's 8.5 minutes long, and only the first 4 minutes have lyrics!!! By the way, you should definitely do a video covering the extended cuts even if it's in the form of your LOTR extended cut videos.
The extra blood is like putting the Bloody Mess Perk on in Fallout and pretending the game suddenly got more serious than it already was.
This looks grosser than Terrifier, Hellraiser, and The Boys. My interest for this director’s cut has severely diminished as despite disliking the original versions I would’ve initially at least probably given this a shot. I also don’t have a problem with violence in movies especially hard R and un rated films but there’s a point where it’s too gory and makes me through up metaphorically both in my mouth and brain. Gore p o r n is unnecessary. This is not how to give a mature Star Wars knockoff. Also, not even PG-13 is necessarily always family friendly and some can be more violent than most R rated films. The execution of a film or tv show needs to be good and if extra content like language and violence is necessary to the story it can make it better and work. Despite loving ZSJL, I think I gave him too much credit as a filmmaker and don’t need to always forgive his mistakes because of “creative interference” excuses. I think I might need to give those Dune movies a chance now as I haven’t really been interested before in them.
How do they get the corpses to power the ship. When every character that dies explodes into a mass of blood and guts? 🤔
Random you should pull a Zack Synder and rerelease your original Rebel Moon reviews with "extended" footage covering the new stuff.
