Vingegaard "won" the tour with that gesture, well done Jonas
Why “won” he did win
He wanted to ride Pogacar until end of race and be on his wheel
You are correct, he had won, big I think he means 'morally' he won also by making a kind gesture.@@jonasbro9562
I love these two guys. Fierce competitors but always respectful of each other.
Life will be sweet whne there is RESPEKT I mean fair play
did pogacar wait though?
@@trichopythonHe didn't know Vingegard had nearly come off though did he? Vingegard knew this also, just a shame someone watching it on screen can't see that
@@cyclingartist6827 of course he did. Why do you think they use a communication system. His manager would have told him the seceond it happened.
@@trichopythonhe wouldn’t have told him that. Jonas didn’t even fall and it would have been unnecessary info. Tadej had no idea it happened.
2 incredible humans, chapeau to them both
@@TeamNorthSpeedCyclerigged? What you on about
@@AFFootballHighlightslmao deleted comment??
The deletetion of shame😂😂
Dunno, the first guy accelerated at the others mistake didn’t he? Tosser move, no?
@@mikewoods7167he definitely did not know Jonas had lost it. It wasn’t loud enough because he didn’t actually fall and Tadej didn’t look back to see
What a great gesture! Chapeau Vingegaard & Pogacar
They are both heroes of the sport. Jonas showing his fair-play and strength while Pogacar entertaining us and attacking every single day, without giving up. This is what cycling is all about, Bravo!!
Enormous.
Never seen sportsmanship like this in 40 years of TDF.
🤔 so you didn't watch Jan Ulrich doing the same?
@@mightyh9032 right. 40 years of lies 😂😂😂
It's been a tradition of the tour forever 😂
I have never seen such sportsmanship in cycling. I am very, very impressed.
a true sportsman would have left Pogacar draft him for a bit to catch his breath. (i dont race and have no idea what im talking about...but id wanna catch my breath)
It also happened when Armstrong fell down and Ullrich waited for him 😊 it was 2003 i think
Thats actually fairly standard in cycling. They want to win head to head, not due to someone's misfortune.
@@darinz7182 It is an unwritten rule in cycling.
@@darinz7182hmmmh also by Armstrong..Had this also thiked?
Great sportsmanship
What a time it's been for us cycling fans chapeau 🥂🍾
I just love Jonas. He's so humble and kind.
Jonas vs pogi
Is the best rivalry i have seen in any sport
The amount of respect they have for each other
And also between their fans
Im a pogi fan but i absolutely respect jonas and even when he won thee tour last year i was happy for him because he truly deserved it and the battle he gave to pogi was amazing
Im so happy that thus sport looks like this right now
Das ist Sport....
Respekt & Anerkennung für beide....
Pure class right there
That's proper sportsmanship unreal 👏
Great sportsmanship !
That was true sportsmanship shown by Jonas 👏🏽. Kudos to the two competitors.
Amazing ! Fairplay and friendship rules !
Congrats, dudes.
I'm now a fan of them both.
Me too 🎉
Love these two. What a great time to be a cycling fan.
Love these two sportsmen.
wow, what a change for the better in the TDF. GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP!!!
True class
Such class. Im glad these boys will be around for a few years still, we have some great champions and some great clean racing to come. Champagne cycling 👊
no one is clean man. but this is a fun era to watch
and we wonder why this is NOT in the Netflix series 😮
i was thinking the same thing
It is, the first clip is from 2022, the second clip is 2023. Both happen on the same turn
How can u be this dumb@@TheDolphinator8
No, it was on the same stage in the same tour. We're you not watching when it was on? @@TheDolphinator8
One of the best sporting gestures in the last 25yrs of International sport!
Out of all the crazy moments from this Tour, this is the one that made it for me. This is one hell of a sport.
Barones..! Aplausos de pie. Saludos cordiales desde Medellín Colombia.
Brilliant gesture- both in terms of tactics as in sportsmanship. An attacking Pogi (and thus following Vingegaard) would’ve brought them to Van Aert way quicker than they did now.
The day Vingegaard gained a ton of fans
Respect!
Tadej was out of his bike for all of 2 seconds and their gap literally ballooned to like 200m before Jonas hit the brakes makes you realize how fast they are actually going..
what a superb pair of athletes
❤ 2 seres incríveis, humildade 🙏🏻🙌
Class act right there.
Blessed to have these two at the top. 8
Great sportsmanship. Well done.
great sportmanship shown here...hands down to both Pogacar and Vingengaard
Ganar sin el rival no es ganar. Mucho valor para Vingegaard
This was my favorite moment of the tour
Dos grandes campeones.... Un respeto mutuo
Such sportsmanship is rare in sports today.
The no better win than a sporting win
Bravo Mr Vingegaard you can see is waiting .Big Respect
I love the rivalry they have
Underrated but this also helped bring the rest of TJV who helped add a minute to the yellow jersey’s lead
we live for this kind of sportmanship.
Das kommt genau zur richtigen zeit 🙌🏼🌻
jonas gesture is so heartwarming he is a champ always
The dynamic duo
Top sportsmanship.
Only from vingegaard. Pogacar attack while Vingegaard make a mistake
@@pascalsmid2806 I think Pog was ready to accelerate after the curve and did not know about Jonas' incident.
@@pascalsmid2806 Jonas did not go down so I get why he attacked
Jonas: "I'm not gonna win like this!"
Vingegaard and Pogacar epic battle of the Tour.
Geez it needs to be on TV first time I ever missed a tour
True class act👍. Why I love watching these true professionals
"It wont go unnoticed by the world press" except in America where no one mentioned or showed it during any of their sportscasts.
It was shown on the NBC forecast
A nation ruled by obsession, either indifferent or hysterical 🤷🏼
Damn both mistakes where a bit weird. Especially Pogacar's almost like he hit some ice. Glad they both didn't go down hard and are able to keep battling.
There was a lot of loose gravel on the descent
@@Freekement ah that makes sense, hard to see on my phone but it didn't look too bad, looking on my computer now and can see it.
@@ndegraafndg Can’t see it in the video but a commentator on one of the motors said it
Vingo had a pedal strike, pog hit gravel. Not abnormal at all in bike racing.
@@ndegraafndg the tarmac was melting because of the heat so they just poured some gravel over it hoping it would stick
True sportsmanship from Jonas Vingegaard.
above all else...great
sportsmanship
I love this 2 guys ❤❤❤❤
Lovely video 🤟😁👍
???: hurry up in front of me and block the wind!! Hahahaha
Fantastic. Just how sport should be - competitive yet respectful.
"Come on bro hurry up get get back in front so I can draft you" 😂
As good as it gets 👍🏼🚴🏼♂️
Class act! Salute to Vingegaard!
Massive respect for Vingegaard. When he almost fell Pogi wanted to attack, when Pogi fell Vingegaard actually waited for him
Pogacar did not notice what happened to Jonas
Pogi didn't know Vingegaard nearly fell, and Vingegaard knew that
Total class!!!
I'm Croatian and love both of them.
Deportividad y EDUCACIOOOON
I will never forget that awesomeness !
simply amazing
Much respect ✊🏼
The both best in the world nowadays ❤❤
This is vid is a masterpiece and a representation in of sportsmanship.
keep up the good work🎉❤
Nice gesture Jonas
That is amazing!
Best moment ever!
Jonas has great sportsmanship
Una delle più belle pagine di sport .
Das nennt man Sportlichkeit!!
Brilliant moment. I'm sure Wiggins did something similar in an earlier tour. You never see crappy football/soccer players do that.
Hope that tradition doesn't die
Wow. Im not much into cycling but this is absolutely beautiful sportsmanship!! Great stuff.
Sportsmanship. 👍
Nice to see the progression since chaingate
it's beneficial for both if they stay together, i mean it is a great sporting gesture, but it's also a tactical good decision as well...
It's so great watching them, and good sportsmanship, but how about Sepp Kuss being the pacemaker for half this tour?
He is a great person
Good sportsmanship.... 😊 cycling at its best.
Vinge: "Arriba príncipe, la piedra no me robará la gloria"
Love the automated subtitles Teddy Bugatta
Jonas knew he was better in this tour, bit like when Armstrong used to wait for Ullrich.
Jonas is a legend
Legends hats off!
