My burn out (I think/sort of hope that's what it is) has crippled me for 4 months now. I'm marginally better now but with dips from time to time to back to where it was at its worst. The point you made about using it as a positive to make the right changes, slow down etc is something I've very much given a lot of thought to and have 100 percent started doing but it's pretty deflating that I'm not coming out of the other side of it yet. I know timescales can vary from person to person given the sheer amount of variables to each situation but out of curiosity what were your experiences or any body else in the comments section on recovery times?
We’re so sorry to hear that @peternixon5716. As you say there are a lot of variables involved and it really does depends on the depth of your burnout. Form our experience personally we found that once we actually allowed ourselves to rest physically and most importantly mentally we saw quicker recovery. We think it’s the body that needs rest, but it really is the mind that needs to rest and be able to switch off and relax without guilt. The body and nervous system follows the mind so any practices like meditation, breath work and just experiencing joy again will being a lot of peace and healing. Hope you recover fully very soon, all the best 😊
@allroundabundance Thanks for taking the time to answer my question and the time it takes you to make these videos. Not only is the advice appreciated but it also brings a bit of comfort.
Thanks for watching 🙂 How are you feeling and what are you currently doing to prevent or recover from burnout?
