We have been watching since the beginning and really enjoy your videos. keep up the good work! PS. I think a water fountain would look awesome in that pond and maybe would help the algae issue. A lot of professionals use copper sulfate to help stop algae growth but adding some small barley straw bails would be a more natural way to prevent algae as well. Good luck ,and can't wait to see what you do next!
I made a metal drag with tines on the bottom in our pond and dragged it across with heavy duty rope then cleaned it out every pass to get the lilly pads out it worked good but it was a heck of a lot of work . The lily pads came back after a couple years but the bass thrived and got a lot bigger
@dryrunoutdoors I can't remember the exact brand I was looking at and obviously can't give a recommendation until I try one out but I will keep you posted for sure
@@rirebel6029 thanks! I’d like to get it cleaned up good and then get some aeration and maybe a fountain? Once it cools off it will clean out a bit naturally but I’d like to get the muck off the bottom
Talk to Tractor Time With Tim. He may be able to give you some pointers and advice to clean up the pond. I saw something in one of his videos where he was doing a mowing video on his Turf BatWing mower and mentioned something about cleaning up his pond
@@thevacuumnerd I’ve learned a lot from him. I’m excited to see him post some videos in regards to the 3R series loader/joystick. It’s not smooth at all, I believe he’s coming up with some solutions on how to smooth it out
@@dryrunoutdoors I do enjoy watching your mowing videos as well my friend! Youve got a nice Johndeere with the belly mower and that Mahindra bush hog isnt doing a bad job either!
