It’s the season for stupid people doing stupid things with leaves.

You can fix the scalping issue on the 72 inch mower by lowering the anti scalping wheels on the machine. I noticed you had them all the way up. If you put them in the lowest setting the deck shouldn’t dip below 3 inches. That would really help on that deck and it should help keep the deck level.

So this engine has the diesel particulate filter and emissions and still cranks up dirty. Guess I can’t avoid all that smelly exhaust soot on any startup no matter which diesel engine I select. Might as well get the 25hp then.

Ground clearance is kinda low no?

I HAVE A MID MOUNT GRASSHOPPER IT IS A 2003 320D 61IN DECK AND MOWING EIGHT TO TEN ACRES , SO I SOLD MY TRACTOR AND I COULD MOW THE SAME LAND IN ABOUT HALF.THE TIME. A MUCH CLEANER LOOK.I HAVE OWEN THIS MOWER FOR 14 YEARS. NO MOTOR PROBLEMS OUR HYD. PROBLEMS. JUST BELTS AND PULLEYS 4 TO 5 YEARS.

We have a z994 r diesel in work with a mulcher deck. The glide seat is really good, we have the tweels too with no issues with traction. Tell me do you drop the roll bar because of the horrible noise it makes?😊

A backhoe in the hands of an experienced operator can work well……but the non-operator homeowners that buy them it is not practical at all.

How deep does it fill? Like 2 feet?

Is that a stamped deck on the lawn mower?

For something like this, a grapple would work fine and be much more useful in other applications, but there are a few applications where a backhoe can’t be beat. However they are rare, and hard to justify for the expense of a backhoe. If cost isn’t an issue, then yes if the subframe mounts don’t cause clearance issues.

They’re good for small jobs, like fixing watches.

I've had mixed experiences with this. For the work i do they tend to be underpowered and they can't really handle as much abuse as a bigger backhoe or a standalone excavator or bobcat.

Got to get one of those.

Exactly what I was looking for. Not a ton of power and slow, but doable. Sure struggled on the small roots. I've got some 3-4' fir stumps I'm wondering if that combo will deal with. Seems it'll loosen up the dirt anyways, dig dig dig, cut cut, dig dig... That said... you're just off idle

Rock would look nice around the house especially with the brick contrast. Also so good sized Hostas that are basically low maintenance or other ground cover low maintenance plants would be nice.
