You should 3d print an octavin, I feel that it doesn't get enough love and could be a very interesting family of instruments if it were to be expanded into an entire family
Does the presence of the outer tube affect the sound? The fact that it makes it look more like a wooden clarinet makes it seem like an aesthetic choice.
