- Basic stock LSVTEC setup in for tuning with a customer goal of just 400whp on E85. Car has the flex fuel sensor set up but customer just wanted the straight E85 tune for now.

I have lsvtec on my crx, although mine has pr3 pistons new OEM rings and stock rods, (new) victor x, stage 2 clutch Chromoly fly, brian Crower stage 2 cams, Supertech spring, and titanium retainers ferrea valves eagle cam gears. I'm leaning on a precision 5858 jb . I don't know if i need e85 to hit 450-500 or any upgrades to my block??? I like your vids, will consider taking it to you if I can,,,, i will need advice to see what else i will need to get me there...
What turbo did you go with?

I've got a B18C5 in a EG hatch. Is it possible to get 300 whp and also tall gearing for smooth highway cruising at 75-80 mph? I know it will have to be either turbo or supercharged, I'm just trying to determine if I should keep that motor or go for a K-series build instead. The car will be a sport touring style, nice comfy ride and interior, enough power to put a grin on your face, and frequently driven on long road trips.
Gsr trans with LS final or LS 5th would accomadate your highway cruising desires. 300hp is easy

Ive been dedating the 5858. What much boost was it to make 420? Also was maxing my 1000cc a little over 400 on e85 depending 1300 or 1600cc for 500-550
You will need bigger injectors, usually run out mid 4s on e85 . 16psi
what pistons and rods? LS?
How do they get the b series heads to fit on the ls block?
Virtually bolt on. With a few mods to allow operation to vtec.
Is the motor actually completely stock besides like head studs. And what size injectors? I have rdx injectors I think on e85.
Stock as a rock. Rdx injectors wont make it anywhere near this on ethanol.

How much boost did it take to get to 400 plus ? And what size injectors do you need to get to 400 on e85 ?
Doesnt take much with quality turbo setup. 1000-1200 cc would be ideal.
@@EBTEC I’m hoping to touch 400 on a stock gsr on e85 , arp head studs and cometic gasket on Hondata S300 . I got 1000 cc injectors . Hopefully I touch that number

It could make more but that's all the customer wanted.. Its a bone stock motor internally so there was no need to lean on it too hard when we already surpassed the customers goal of 400whp..
Y’all Honda kids crack me up. Yeah I want to make 400whp yeah what clutch is in here we seem to be bleeding off horsepower oh it’s a regular organic oriely clutch lmao. Either way I’m impressed it made as much as it did on that clutch. Gotta respect these Honda’s.
