Cracking video 👍, Gisburn maybe old school but it is what mountain biking is about for me. You can't beat earning a good descent after a big climb . Brilliant venue . On the doorstep of some awesome bike rides in the dales 😁.
Thank you for the kind words! Totally agree, it’s a belter! Haven’t really done any dales rides being honest. Need to get out and explore more for sure! 👍
I must have ridden those trails when it was a new trail centre. Must be about 15 years ago I last rode there! I still have the GT Avalanche 3.0 Bike I used too! Must go back sometime.
GT avalanche 3, classic Hardtail. Yeah me too, hully gully was like nothing else, a real challenging and super fun section of trail ! You should go back for nostalgic reasons, it will take you back.
Afetr 13 minutes the chest cam sobers up from one too many Bacardi & Cokes from last night 😄 Top video again, forest trails are my fav's as it's close to nature when all week we're surround by concrete. Keep em' coming.
It’s incredible how mush they change over the years. Its feels really different on the climb part or homemaker with no trees! Llandegla feels very different now as well either way the deforested bits and then the climb parts that were deforested around 12 years ago are now tree lined again.
Me my son and my dad were here on Saturday just gone, lovely place to ride, we had a great day. In fact I was talking to a guy with a dog that looked like yours at the cafe, wondering if it was you now.
@@MindfulTrailBikermight not of been you then, as the guy was on his own. Didn’t realise till later in video you was with someone else and I’d already put a comment on. Hope you guys had a great day anyway, was a lovely day with all the mist in the forest there on Saturday.
Our local trail centre too, love a good blast round there. Never once made it over the large jumps on the Hope line though, can’t carry enough speed around the corner 😂
I’ll always have a soft spot for gisburn! That drop is a bit mental coming out of a 90 degree corner as you can’t flow into it. It requires plenty extra pulling to make up for the lack of speed. The 2nd one is lovely if you manage to hit the down ramp sweet!
Once in a while I come here for a pedal and am quickly reminded how much I hate it :p Would love to see someone who knows how to build bring either some real tech or flow to the place.
@@readikus I get it. I was close to not bothering putting the edit together but decided to chop it as much as possible and make the rest as interesting as I could, rookie error. It's part of the never ending learning process. It is a nice stem though! 🤣 did you watch ti till the end?

Love Gisburn definitely one of the more picturesque trail centres, forest is stunning.
Beautiful isn’t it! Thank you for watching and commenting!! 🙌

Really good and sums Gisburn up well. I love the place 👍🏼
Cheers
Thank you very much!! its a special place, deserves the love for sure!!

It just seems like it couldn’t be bothered until we got to some good downhill 😂😂 forest trails are ace aren’t they! food for the soul!!
Looks really good that 😊 thanks for sharing - will give that a go soon 😊
Pleasure. 👍
Apologies for the duff camera work in the edit 🙄
know the feeling of the camera angles! always checking lol - good video dude :D cake looks class.
cheers dude, nearly didn't bother making the edit but thought bugger it, people are generally forgiving, we're only human after all.!!
Crazy how much it has changed. Last time I went, there were no trees next to Simon's swamp at all.

Another great vid buddy. Not been here in a while. Need to go again when it's not wet 👌
Cheers Pal, Thank you. It's running really well at the moment bar the deforested bits even despite the rain!
Been here today, great trial. Bike took a beating from rocks 😂
It certainly throws a few punches! 👍

If we were with our bikes and the dog was hoovering up the bread left for the birds and generally misbehaving then it would have been us 🤣🤣😂

It was an incredible day wasn’t it, we had a ball thanks, love a good lap of gisburn, great work out and it clears the mind perfectly!
@@MindfulTrailBikernever been before myself, my dad has but me and my son it was our first visit. We will definitely be back.
@Danny_Transition_Patrol where else do you go riding?

@@MindfulTrailBiker I don't mind the drops, it's the table tops before that I can never clear. Need to session it a few times I think.
@@mgnewman82 ah yes, the flat jumps. never made those myself, way too much cranking required. I dont believe in peddling into jumps 😂

I can totally see why it’s not everyone cup of tea. It did used to be considered fairly tech (for many) at one time.
no disrespect to anyone…as you say not everyone’s cup of tea. A work out though if nothing else!
@lcdchase all opinions welcome here pal 👍
Ya need adjust go pro so we can see the trails bro lol
yep, I ca still make a rookie mistake 9 months in 🤣 It gets better form about half way.
@@MindfulTrailBiker we all can bro lol. Oj BTW
@@DizRidesMtbyeah I know pal, I was taking the piss out of myself for that one 😂
@@MindfulTrailBiker best way bro i do that often lol
Nice video.
But check your camera angle before setting off 😊
😂😂 yeah, not my best moment. Nearly didnt publish the edit but I think I managed to salvage it in the end.
Been enjoying your videos, but this one was like being inside a migraine.
oof, sorry to disappoint - can you elaborate?
I enjoy a good stem as much as the next person, but I can't watch 15 minutes of one :)@@MindfulTrailBiker
