Hitting up Gisburn tomorrow, driving down from Newcastle and abit excited to say the least! This video has gave me great confidence for what im going to face! Crackin' video
The bit about 12:20 isn't new - it just looks different because of the deforestation. Although they have tidied up the lower section after the berms which were deep mud holes through the trees.
Great video hope to go there soon. Took a big spill the other day on the ebike, u are right about full face helmets, certainly saved my face after planting it.
@@johnjd831 I watched video saw u plant it. Thought I was commenting on that video then started watching this one 😂. Need a new helmet now i cracked it good..
They've been very busy at gisburn building stuff since I was last there about this time last year might have to pay the forest a visit when we're no longer in isolation fun video 🤘
Fantastic video here man, this trail looks like so much fun and reminds me of some of the trails here in the west. Oh, greetings from a Colorado UA-camr. Keep up the great work.
Going to whinlatter on sat or sunday . Can you recommend any other close to newcastle , we are just starting out , we have done hamstley a few times and gisburn today
@@nothinghqppenedmtb956 I do have some unedited footage, but I managed to miss a couple of the best features. I'm not ruling out a return trip one day.
Would be good to know the trail names and grades if that's possible for the next one. The bits with gap jumps were they black or red trails? If I'm riding solo I tend to avoid that sort of thing as I have a bad habit of landing on my head!
the gap jumps are optional/not on the main trail and you have to go off the trail and follow a fire road to find them so don’t worry about coming across them during your run.
Hey man 🤘🏼 I had a big off at Descend Bike Park about 8 weeks ago and totally destroyed my shoulder, snapping the radial head off the Humerus bone and 4 further breaks. Unfortunately it will be a long while before im even able to ride again. Been lazy with a video about it (for obvious reasons) but it's something I need to do.

It's a good day on the bike mate. Certainly worth a visit and about 2.5hrs from Newcastle.

I never, it was getting on and we wanted to ride Leap of faith before we left for home, so decided to skip it in favour of that.
Ye definitely I agree Hully gully is great.I went on it not realising you could do an easier one when I was a beginner but that didn’t scare me 😂

No hully gully? It's the best bit
I skipped Hully Gully to have time to ride Leap of faith 👍🏼
Suppose you can't ride it all
Do you Recommend any of the trails for newbies going here next week
It's all rideable for a newbie, just be ready for a good sleep on the night 👍🏼 Enjoy ya Ride 🤘🏼🤓
JD Rides guessing it’s a hard graft then 😂
@@dannyjp1996 it's a pretty long loop and If you're new then it's only going to be more tiring 👌🏽
Yep it was a killer
Could you do this on a hardtail?
Yeah buddy 👍🏼 a hardtail is perfectly fine
My first trail centre day was Gisburn on a hard tail. Most stuff is rollable and you can have a lot of fun.
No Videos for a while pal. You not managed to get out much.?
