A hot air balloon ride is usually a once in a lifetime experience, and I would be recording my whole trip. 🛩 🚁🪂🛸🚀🛰 darn, no hot air balloons.
I certainly filmed all the time on my balloon flight

As a hot ait balloon crew for a few pilots, most have a camera on their burner frame recording from the initial inflation to landing. I usually attach a 360 camera when I crew with the pilots permition.

The bakery facility was listed as the Bromborough Margarine Works (WW1-WW2 era) and later Stork Margine Works which consisted of much the older buildings and railway service on the back side and both ends. Lever Brothers / Unilever operated the soap factory at the Sunlight location visited by DJ earlier and manufactured margarine at this location 1917-2001 when sold to CSM Ingredients. Baker & Baker acquired the CSM facility in 2021. (edit: a FB post notes Unilever shifted to fats and baking ingredients but no date until sold in 2001)

I'll never understand how people seem to think that an aircraft cannot photograph your property. I have an aerial photograph of mine and neighbouring houses on my wall that was taken twenty plus years ago. Nobody knew their houses were being photographed from above until someone knocked on your door asking if you'd like to buy a copy. It wasn't illegal then, and still isn't now.

I think its about 'reading the room' DJ. The Security guy at the end there was trying to be polite without be overly offensive by shuttibgvthe window as he was on the telephone. To then go to the door as an employee was possibly there to make Security aware of a drone flyer & stand there listening to their conversation was again taking a liberty as you were clearly on their land taking adavantage of trying to converse with reception/Security whilst they discussed you/drone flyer.
Yet another example of making it up as he goes along. Then expects you take that seriously.

They take off from York Racecourse every Saturday morning, weather permitting, and depending on the wind direction fly over thousands of houses and fields.
Looking up you can see EVERYONE on board filming the experience.

ALL Security guards should now have a basic in drone law so they have a better understanding and don’t make themselves look like IDIOTS and in turn educate the people they are working for and life would be a lot better for all
At the least they should have the drone app that shows the No fly zones and this would be another piece to their arsenal and make you more employable too
