Its quite moronic that the NT haven't issued a statement yet across all sites to say that anyone with a drone of sub 249 grams can legally fly over any of their sites as long as it takes off from a public place. i don't think they like seeming as though the auditors mean anything to their day. I understand that. Some of it is human nature. A person turns up, tries to engage and tell you that they are going to do whatever, then after a bit of escalating etc, the staff are proved wrong...I think they then just want to get on with their day, as though the incident never happened. So they don't make sure word gets passed up the ladder, they seem to want to forget about it happening.
If you do leeds castle, there is a public right of way right through the middle of there grounds so in theory you could take off from there......im sure leeds staff would be very happy to see you😂
