I'm in Australia, left High Wycombe in the late 80's. Lots of fond memories, couldn't see my house in the video but i was only about a mile away from the manor (just near the Disraeli monument).

They're worried about the privacy of the family that live there but they allow paying visitors to take photos around the grounds, even says so on their site!! Visitors are therefore more likely to get an unintended shot of the family than a drone is and also from much closer up than a drone ever could. They spout utter nonsense and try to make out that it's law when it absolutely isn't.

They have progressively become more draconian against the public. Our local trust site has been cut off to locals that’s have been using it since before it was national trust. Such a beautiful place. I appreciate you doing this for a number of reasons. We get to see these amazing locations from angles that wouldn't be normally possible. Also, not everyone is able to visit and support these locations, so when they talk about losing out on money, i dont really see how they are. I feel the same way that it would surely bring more people to the locations...so long as the staff dont anyone off.

The CAA website states - The aviation regulations only address the flight safety aspects of the flight and they do not constitute permission
