I watch this video often, but I haven't taken the time out to say that this is a really really good video. Of course I love Velocity Girl and this B Side especially, but the video is equally admirable and together it is more than the sum of its parts. Excellent job. Thank you.
I, too, would like to second BigAlDente's comments. I've been watching this video frequently for over a year and haven't taken a moment to thank you for it. It's a Velocity Girl song I hadn't heard before, and I thank you for creating such a delightful video to go along with it. Thank you, very much, for the time and effort you put into your labor of love.
wow I really love this here gem you made! It incorporates many of my favorite things, big eyed dolls and art with velocity girl, its like my birthday when I watch this!!! Thank you thank you soooo much for this awesome video!
Such dolls are melancholy without being emo, a distinction that matters to some people and not others. And, yeah, I love it when people describe someone else's kind of music as "meaningless" or insubstantial, as though they were earning college credit for listening to whatever's on their iPod. At the end of the day, even "Roads to Moscow" is just a song. The image of a doll lying in the knife drawer is surprisingly horrific.
@s7rugg1es You know it. I may've become a fan 11 years after they broke up, but I was at least lucky enough to get the "Sorry Again" EP on iTunes, which just so happens to feature this B-Side.
still watching in 2022 ❤
I'm playing this video in honor of Margaret Keane, and I think, I'll spread the link around.
Somebody show this to Rachel Boyce65!
I bought the single at the end of the ninetees and fell in love with "Marzipan". Thanks for the video!!!
