You could think of Steph calling her Gollum from Lord Of The Rings 🤣😂 If it helps since Gollum is relatively harmless as well as it being unexpected in a good way. It is creepy though 😥
I smile when I’m caught haha can’t help it. I’m a diagnosed aspd so maybe she has a similar thing when the other person knows your motives and despite trying to deceive them it doesn’t work it you create this huge smile because you realize how detached from this scenario you are. You are faking these emotions like a clown in front of people you don’t care about to evoke what you want and a failure of this action is super funny (at least in my head) so I smile 😃
I do have to say that smiling and or laughing in stressful, or scary situations is 100% normal, just like crying, it’s a reaction to adrenaline, so please don’t judge people for it; however, I will agree that because of who she is and what she has done, it definitely makes her unsettling and definitely freaks me out
The worst part is she gave that baby back to the mom for her to discover it herself. For her to try cpr on him knowing he's already gone. I have no words.
You articulated exactly why this is so horrifying to me. It's so horrible it's making me physically sick and I'm shivering. My husband found my sister in law dead and 911 kept trying to make me do CPR. She was in rigor mortis, she was gone. I told them I would not, they kept insisting. It was so upsetting. I can't imagine going through this with my child.
@@Kathleen-vl5ws i'm so sorry that happened to you. i hope you and your husband are not lost to grief, but get to heal from that trauma. you are strong.
@@Kathleen-vl5wsThat's awful 😢 I wish 911 operators would be trained to understand that rigor mortis isn't difficult to recognize, even for people who haven't seen it before. I know some people can be resuscitated directly after death (I was, when I was 18 and had a severe illness) but no one can be resuscitated when they're in rigor mortis, and it's traumatizing for that person's family.
her smile freaked me out. she doesn’t even look upset or worried, just plain evil. this is such an awful case, thanks for covering, hope people stay safe with their children and babysitters
Psychopaths nor Sociopaths can hide their true emotions, but they aren’t able to feel remorse/guilt. But she’s definitely a sociopath. she has a conscience, but she continues to deny her actions she knows they’re wrong and is probably justifying them in her head.
they way she kept zoning out while the cops were asking her questions it was like she was thinking of an excuse also very common people zone out like that when they are high im not saying she is but she looks like she is the way she kept zoning out it could be something else again not accusing this woman she was high just saying how it looked like
Her smiled scared me so much. I have this habit of copying people’s facial expressions and without knowing did the same expression, like artists when drawing a character. It reminded me of whenever I read something funny. She is absolutely insane and should be punished. I hope the best for the family who dealt with what should have never happened. I hope that baby Benson finds peace in the afterlife.
The fact that this channel had someone asking questions off camera is really creative and unique and it really does enrich the story too. It’s like we are asking the questions. It makes you feel so engaged.
Yeah her husband asks all the questions that I make in my head and instead of going back a few seconds back in the video to understand it better, she just answers him
@@VexindraI personally find it really cute how he asks questions to understand better and be more engaged, and the way she reacts to them is really healthy as well to help him understand, it’s just sparking curiosity and wanting to learn more. I could tell they both really love each other ❤
@@RosieDecaro Absolutely, they are very sweet to each other. It just takes me out of the moment when he is describing or repeating something she just explained. Almost like an interruption. Regardless I'm loving this channel.
A friend of mine is studying to become a pre-school/daycare teacher, and sadly one of the first things they taught her is that whenever you receive a kid that's asleep you have to either wake it up or check it's vitals before the parents can leave exactly due to this kind of case. The cruelty of some :(
When I worked at my stepdaughters day care I worked in the baby baby room. One morning one of my favorite girls came in to school. She had DARK purple bruises on her neck. Mom said it happened at aunts house and that she fell. The placing of that bruise was NOT a fall. That child was GRABBED by the neck. People are HORRIBLE towards children these days and i just cannot stand the thought of touching any baby in any kind of violent manner EVER
@@hayleyelizabeth7895 actually its not just today. Crime statistics have fallen in recent years. Many horrible things done to kids were often hidden or just never revealed to the world, that's why people thought it was safer... Sadly it was never safe.

He wasn't necessarily there every time the horrible events occurred. He may have been technically home but that doesn't mean he was inside or in the same room as her while she was doing the abuse. He might actually believe her lies and be blinded by love. I've known guys like that who didn't see the direct abusive actions, so they had a hard time believing it, especially because they want to believe the woman they love so much, is innocent of such a heinous crime. Considering there's absolutely no evidence whatsoever against him, it's completely possible. Especially since she didn't even try to throw him under the bus to save herself.
He was out hunting when baby Benson was murdered and he wasn't there when the 11 month old supposedly fell off the couch..I don't think he's completely innocent tho because he knows what she is capable of and still let her babysit
Omg I remember a case where a mother brought her de@d child to a daycare, the workers wanted to wake him up but she insisted he had a rough sleep so they didn’t wake him and the mother left. They left him in a quiet room and when they went to check on him they realised he was gone. Luckily they found the mother at her job
@@RO-B96 I remember that case. Didn't the baby die of SIDS and the mother was having some kind of break from reality? Or this has probably happened more than once sadly.
If she isn't supposed to be around children legally, with the police knowing she was babysitting , why didn't they immediately arrest her and question her down at the station??
I'm not sure I can't find out this information It looks like she had a ton of charges on her record for drugs and even violence towards the police... I mean but if parents don't do a background check or don't even just look around which you can find a lot of this information on State Police websites for free... And simply by searching the person's name or address online... I have no idea why their parents or any parent will leave children in her care she does not behave mentally well. But yeah I'm not sure why that was going on because I can't find information why she had her own children taken from her care either. She looks like she had charges and she looks like she had reports about harming other people's children but no official charges. Yet I'm not sure about the CPS case because I can't find that info.
@Katiecat7ate9, that's a very good question!!! They knew immediately that she was going against a court order (or whatever type of legal action that she was supposed to be under) so they SHOULD have, I would think 🤔
I had once a neighbor who had been convicted for rxpe and mvrder, people kind of knew he had been in trouble with the authorities but no one looked it up (and even now it takes a moment to find his conviction along with the details), but he was always a nice man who would help others in times of need, he'd always been nice and warm, a lot of families with kids would pop up around his house to greet him and whatnot. It wasn't until he passed away that we found out about the truth because police officers went to clear the house and they told some people that they always knew and would check on him to make sure he was behaving well and all that So yeah, I can understand parents not doing a whole background check on someone they know to be a good person
@@dawndoesartno they didn’t. she admitted to having the child in her care when she wasn’t supposed to be around children at all. they could’ve taken her in

I remember watching the interview on another channel and I was just shocked. Her kids were taken away yet she could still babysit. How does that make sense.
She wasn’t allowed to be around children. Even her youngest wasn’t allowed to be around her so they left him with her husband but they went around it and you know people don’t really check up on things.
her children were taken after the first incident , then there was a second incident, then this was here third incident. why wasnt she already behind bars? if she would have been this poor baby would still be alive.
And continue to have babies?!? Why they didn't monitor her even long enough to know she was pregnant again? It seems like cps is off their game to allow that!
@@pennywagner1608I’m guessing they couldn’t prove the second one wasn’t an accident, and her children were taken away, maybe she did go to jail for the first incident.
I bet it was that people treated her nicer when she was pregnant and she liked that. She didn’t care about the kids, just about being pregnant and getting that positive attention.
Or she's like Diane Downs who said kids are so easy to replace, and getting pregnant is so easy. A disgusting way of looking at it but that's what psychopaths think because they don't have empathy and only think of themselves.

the fact that she was suspected and accused of two incidents of injuring children before this and even got her parental rights taken away but wasnt in jail to begin with is ridiculous
How infuriating and devastating it must be to find out your child's killer is smiling and laughing while being questioned about the murder, especially someone you trusted. I can't even imagine her pain.
She could also have what is called "gallows laughter. " This comes from back when people were getting hanged (the gallows). They would get so overwhelmed. Psychologists even use this today when people are talking to them about intense emotions. I am NOT in any WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM trying to defend this horrible woman. I'm just giving a possible insight to her laughter besides her being only high. This story is devastating. I still to this day worry about losing my children and they are grown.

I have never, not once, had a parent complain about me or have any problems with me as their baby's caregiver at all! I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 3 myself. I would never harm a child! It would be impossible for any of the teachers in any of the classrooms to hurt a child at the daycare where I work because every classroom has a camera in it plus there are 2 cameras in the hallway and cameras outside on the four playgrounds we have. There is a large TV monitor mounted on the wall in the office and the director and owner can see the video feed from every camera at all times. If there is ever a concern about anything from a parent or staff member, the director and owner can go back and watch the video footage to see exactly what happened. They have only had to do that once when a teacher accused the cook of smacking a child on the mouth. This teacher texted the child's mother and told her this and also reported it to state. The mother came in and she and the director went back and watched the video footage from the time that this incident allegedly occurred. The mother walked out of the office after stating that she saw the cook do no such thing to her child. The state consultant that came to investigate the incident was also shown the video footage and came to the same conclusion. She closed the investigation and reported that the claim was unsubstantiated. The employee that made the false accusations had it out for the cook for a reason she had made up in her own mind!

I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who caused the injuries on some of the children, and she's covering for him. He's got way too short of a fuse to be able to handle small children with patience. If hes acting that way to police, imagine how he would treat someone whos smaller than him and can't properly defend themselves.
She had a hickey on her neck that wasn't previously there when she dropped off the kids and she said Adam was hunting while she was watching the kids. Maybe he was there and they were having sex but the baby was being too fussy and crying so someone shut him up. Turned him on his belly to muffle his cries so they could continue fucking. Makes sense to me....
His conversation with the cops makes me think the opposite. Idk why, but the whole "She's supposed to give me the babies when she's angry" sounded convincing to me
Hearing the cries of those distraught women was so hard to listen to. The anger, the regret, the grief.. it's devastating when a mother loses her child, an infant at that. People underestimate the damage babysitters can do. My mom’s an immigrant and had a lot of immigrant babysitters take care of us as kids. She tried her best, but some of them just… were not great, to the point that my mom suspects one abused my brother because of how strange she acted. For me, we had some babysitters who used to force feed us until on the verge of vomiting. There was one time where they literally held my hair back and yanked my head until I was staring up at the ceiling and began tipping a bowl of soup into my mouth until I vomited everywhere. Bad babysitter’s are absolutely no joke, and can leave lasting trauma on the children in their care.
Wow, that’s horrible. Out of genuine curiosity, as you mentioned all feeding-related incidents, do you think that those are outdated cultural differences in parenting? It’s things like this that make it necessary for us next generation to break the cycle of violence (of course, in this case, I’m not referring to you, I am referring to your caregiver’s children who, presumably experienced a fair amount of trauma). But, in any case, I’m sorry for what you and your brother went through.
@@jennifergraceh Oh yes, there’s definitely a strong cultural element to it all. In addition to the lack of mental health awareness in my mom’s home country (it’s seriously abysmal, especially for a place torn apart by a traumatic civil war), force feeding is considered very culturally normal, to the point that my speaking out about it would’ve likely been perceived as dramatic, whiny, or unruly to anyone who wasn’t my parents. I never told them because I heavily internalized the belief that I was just a whiny and emotional kid who deserved it (which tbf, I threw many a dramatic tantrum in my childhood). I’ve heard much worse from older family members who had such abuse inflicted on them in the name of religion or family hierarchy; one of my aunts was forced to kneel in rice until her knees bled and the rice melded to her skin. It really blurred the lines between abuse and familial care, and left my extended family vulnerable to all sorts of inappropriate behavior as children. For me it was a bit different, because I had very “assimilated” and progressive parents (in some ways) who acknowledged the trauma of their upbringing and tried very hard to combat it, but were surrounded by their traditional cultures. So it was confusing to me, to be completely independent and protected/sheltered/loved by my parents while being casually hit, admonished, and berated for not being a proper kid in all other aspects of my early childhood. We did end up moving later on as my mom realized how taxing everything was on our whole family (her most of all), but by then significant damage was done. I’m sure my brother has had many terrible things happen to happen to him when he was young that I know nothing about, just like it is with me.
I've had babysitters make me eat though I was full. And not give me a drink until I was done eating and the food was too dry to swallow. I don't think it was malicious. I think they just thought I was like kids that only wanted snacks. And only wanted to drink juice or soda and would get full off of that instead of food. But I was never that child.
@apocalypseready6256 I appreciate you addressing the fact that cultural biases can be detrimental. My mother is a NICU nurse and had combatted ignorance amongst immigrant populations all her career. Society is so afraid of offending now that they are ignoring the fact that some cultures really do believe harmful or even evil practices to be completely normal. For example, my mother has had immigrant mothers and grandmothers say they need to push the baby’s soft spot out, which is deadly, or that my mother should ignore the female twin because only her brother matters. Also, she has to convince them that babies overheat, too, and if you’re hot in a short sleeved shirt then the baby doesn’t need multiple layers and blankets. It can be incredibly hard to combat the mindset that believes village knowledge is always right. If that’s what you genuinely believe, why legally or illegally enter another country and use their healthcare system? Stay in your village if it’s so superior. Mind you, my mother has also had to turn parents over to CPS because they were selling their babies, it’s terrifying what evil people are capable of against such vulnerable babies.
@@Improv16you still didn’t deserve it & neither does a picky kid. No child deserves to be treated that way - adults have got to do better in regulating their own emotions so a child acting like a child, doesn’t affect the way we parent.
Just started the video but I have to say I LOVE the way you speak for the people instead of just reading in quotations! Your delivery and story telling abilities are mind blowing! I watch every crime channel out there and have seen nothing close to as good as your descriptions, elaborate examples, you’re just so articulate!
There’s this thing called Duper delight. It’s when people will be excited or happy because they did/ got away with something. They are duping you and they are delighted. That’s when you’ll get really inappropriate smiles or laughter. Like telling your mom a lie and when she makes you look at her, you can’t help but crack a smile. That’s what I’m getting from that smile when she’s being questioned in the hotel. She told a lie and couldn’t help but crack a smile. She then has to try and play it off.
That’s how it looked to me. A very gleeful smile and given the context of the situation, completely inappropriate Even without knowing any of the case details, seeing a person who takes care of children for a living smile like that after being told one of the children under their care is deceased…that’s a very big red flag. A red parachute, even
That's one thing but as someone who smiles inappropriately sometimes it is because I have social anxiety and am very nervous and have been programmed to smile and seem warm to be "polite" (excessive smiling is a part of American culture that is not expected or normal in other places, but in America if you look serious and don't smile people think you are angry, mean, and have an attitude problem even if you simply are neutral or just not smiling all the time for some other reason. I don't think people in the US have a lot of self-awareness about how this is a part of your culture). Because I have been criticized so much for not smiling enough I tend to automatically overcorrect when I talk to authority figures by smiling because it is the programming of how to seem polite and socially acceptable and not like I am angry or have a problem with them so it leads to me smiling even in situations where it is actually inappropriate, although I never murdered anyone and don't maliciously lie ever. It is just a nervous reaction similar to how some people laugh out of nervousness and not knowing how to respond. My point is that it may be something like that in some cases where they are trying hard to seem normal in a situation where they don't know how to act like an innocent person so they default to smiling to seem compliant with police and like a "nice person", and not about "duper's delight" which is sadistic glee from telling a lie and getting away with it.
My mom has that. I saw it slip through One Time and I was horrified. I spent days replaying the whole situation in my head. My mom is one of those rare dark triad personality ppl whos never ended up in prison bc she keeps it psychological and gets others to do her dirty work when it comes to physical abuse. My mom terrifies me. The only thing that scares me More is wondering if im like her and just dont see it.
Actually, you still shouldn't "judge a book by its cover," and if you aren't able to understand why, you are ignorant beyond measure. But hey, you do you.
The couples’ disgusting behavior at being questioned in the hotel room, acting like this is such a nuisance for them, straight up not complying, Adam being so aggressively rude, knowing what they did while so many POC are brutalized by the police for literally breathing (thinking of Sonya Massey rn) genuinely made me pause the video to swallow back my disgust and anger. Why do the worst people always seem to get away until the worst damage is done?
literally! Also not to be that person but if these were black people acting this hostile and disrespectful towards police they'd be treated far worse. the police were nice to them
I really hope Stephanie covers Sonya Massey. Extremely devastating, and it's insane how Adam and Marissa were able to act like this without getting shot. Any POC would've had a bullet in their head after the first "Why are you guys here"

@@eveelee4152 the woman is clearly a drug addict. You can't tell me there weren't other options. No family or friends or church? My church has a whole program that offers free, certified, and vetted babysitters for struggling families. She could have found somebody trustworthy if she'd looked.
In my country, this nanny used to stab babies in the head with a long needle, because she didn’t want to be a maid and a nanny, and instead of telling the family, she killed 3 of their babies, and they thought it was SIDS.
People often smile when they lie when they believe their lie is being bought. It’s a sort of pride or self satisfaction for fooling people. I believe that is why she keeps smiling. It’s such an unsettling smile given the conversation during it.

You know, when my mom told me that my dad were exageratedly overprotective towards me and my brother when we were babies i used to agree with her that he was exagerated for needing to know every single thing before letting someone else take care of us...now im not anymore
Well you're most protective parent is not exaggerating. Because yes you have to be careful with your children There's weirdos everywhere and they like to work with children to harm them And it's only getting worse
Exactly my daughter father is the same way and people try to tell me he is controlling and over protective and I tell them I’d rather he actually cared and be over protective than neglectful he loves our daughter she is his first and only child plus he grew up being abused and neglected so of course he wants to be the total opposite. She doesn’t go anywhere unless he ask me if I truly trust our daughter with them and he knows I don’t trust no one but maybe 1 or 2 people in my family
Here's your autopsy in lay speak. This child died due to MANY different traumas inflicted upon his body. 1. Subdural. The area on the head between the scalp and the skull contains large vessels that rupture due to pulling of hair or other means of tugging and the scalp to separate the scalp from the skull. Blood pools within that area forming liquid filled movable spots of injury. 2. Subarachnoid area is where CSF (cerebral (brain & spinal fluid) collect into cisterns ,...pockets of CSF that accumulate about the skull. (CSF leak from the brain or spinal column causes Intense IMMEDIATE migraine status headache pain!) 3. Focal lesions are scrapes and scratches which happens to be about this baby's nose and chin. ALL suggest separate injuries and incidents of likely 2 different peoples hands on abuse. He's too small to crawl away and get scratched. I've numbered these to show that each number represents a separate point of injury. None of these are consistent with ONE injury. 4. A broken tail bone. (The boney protuberance you can feel at the top of your butt crack.) AND damage to the anterior (FRONTAL) area of the pelvis. (This one has me thinking OMG? HOW the HELL!!??????? 5. Torsion....his ankle was broken by TWISTING the lower leg. (Tibia.) This baby was beaten over a period of time, in MULTIPLE, non-fatal injuries. Non fatal but MERCILESSLY PAINFUL!¡!! Meaning this child suffered until the brain bleed (#1) got to the point that he lost consciousness. It was NOT quick! Not by ANY means. Unless he was picked up by his lower leg and spun against the wall or floor. God I REALLY hope his family doesn't read this but I want your subs to TRULY understand how egregiously untrue that "IM NOT A MONSTER" really is. And good on you with the body language! 👏 You have a natural eye imho. She has all the hallmarks of a true sociopath and sadist. She gets off inflicting pain (sadist) and has ZERO empathy or ability to care that someone else is hurting.(Sociopath) While most people tend to think psychopaths are worse than sociopaths; that's not always true. Yes, socios lack empathy. But they often act in frustration or passion and later regret their actions. Psychos just DGAF! They always lack remorse. But the most dangerous trait is an IMPULSIVE offender. They are erratic and unpredictable. They act without reason or cause. And..... that's the SOCIOPATH. Psychopaths tend to be more organized. They are manipulative and calculated. They're considered "worse" because they're the type to cause massive damage and are oftentimes motivated by hate & revenge. They plot and plan. Both are true cowards but sociopaths are the ones who act out on any one or animals weaker than them. But yes; psychopaths usually begin as sociopaths but IN NO WAY are the sociopaths less dangerous than true psychopaths. The question is ..are they born that way? Well, THATS a question only only you can answer because it goes back to the question of; "can a child be born evil." Some think NO; mainly for religious reasons. What do YOU think? If you're here, thanks for reading. 😊 Have a great day and remember....make good choices. Even the little ones matter ,..💯😁❣️
Thank you, yes, with #4 I also thought, _"HOW THE HELL!?!?!?"_ I used to work in post-disaster recovery (like after 9/11) so I learned about many of these autopsy terms almost through psychological osmosis, from hearing medical people discussing COD; but _THANK YOU SO MUCH_ for explaining the difference between psychopaths and sociopaths! I'm screenshooting this to keep, it's a clear and succinct explanation. I have an opinion on whether anyone is born evil: I was born in a hellhole neighborhood and I suffered some terrible s***** abuse when I was a little girl by guys who I now think were sociopaths; and I grew up to be fiercely protective of children and animals. However, some kids who were abused like I was, end up abusing other kids. So I think sociopathy/psychopathy are like this: Nature loads the gun, Nurture pulls the trigger. I think if some people grew up in better neighborhoods, and got counseling early in childhood, they could've been less violent teenagers. But people like me grow up in the same environment and we would NEVER hurt anyone weaker than us. There was some observational study on babies in hospital nurseries -- how most babies cry whenever other babies cry, which could possibley be nascent empathy; those babies were friendlier as toddlers. Other babies coo and smile whenever they heard the other babies crying; and as toddlers they were more antisocial and picked on other toddlers. edit: spelling mistake
Interesting that you said people tend to think babies are not born evil due to religious reasons. I would have thought it was the opposite, like born with evil possibilities but depends on what is allowed to flourish.
@@michelevazquez4429 What I meant was those who believe their God creates no mistakes. Personally I find it oxymoronic when there are "medical mistakes" & "chemical/chromosomal mistakes" etc as terminology but again .,.I question NO ONES religious beliefs which is why I didn't go more into that.

Honestly her face is so unsettling and scary. She doesn’t look human. I can’t imagine the pain and heartbreak the parents must be going through. Pure evil.
Not knowing CPR and taking care of children is insane; the smirking is beyond disturbing and she is definitely on drugs… her mannerisms and responses.. dear god my heart goes out to the family of the child.
Not that insane the majority of mothers don't know CPR and they watch their kids daily. Should CPR training be mandatory at every school to mitigate this issue at least a little and save lives probably. However until that becomes reality you probably couldn't let almost anyone in your family watch your kids.
My red flag was that an 11 week old newborn was in his carry-on car seat for more than 20 minutes including his snowsuit. Big no no when it comes to baby safety.
@@DoorsToHideBehind156 Babies shouldn't be in their car seats that long because they need to get out and stretch to help their body development and there's also a risk of positional asphyxiation. You're also not supposed to put children in their car seats in bulky clothes like snowsuits because the snowsuit/jacket can collapse enough from the impact of the car for the child to fall out of the seat. That and those snowsuits would be super warm in the car and cause the baby to overheat if the car is heated.
Positional asphyxiation in car seats isn't exactly uncommon, especially when the baby is so young. There are warnings all over car seats saying not to let your child sleep in them. @@DoorsToHideBehind156
Also, no hate or blame at all for the momma for his death, but you just pick up your sleeping 11 week old baby from someone and don't check on him or look closely? I don't know, the whole situation just seems a bit neglectful from everyone, and maybe they don't know better but there are certainly red flags all around. Leaving a small baby with someone who just appears like an addict (even if you didn't know she already lost her kids) is something most people wouldn't do, but then having the baby in the car seat for too long in bulky clothing, not once checking closely on him so by the time you notice he has tragically passed, it's already been HOURS?? The whole situation is just horrifying 😢
As a person who smiles when they get caught into a lie, I can tell the way she's zoning out, trying to find the best way to lie it out but she can't stop smiling. This crime is something she probably won't regret.

They kinda not. maybe before the age of 3, afterb that it's usually bullying. killing and destroying ants, rippiing off wing from butterflies e,t,c, They stop doing all of that only if their caregiver teaches them not to, cos children are curious but not yet empathetic, so they are not kind

Same. I learned as a little girl that showing fear/pain was dangerous, and just brought more attacks (my parents weren't abusive, but they were very young and often working/absent, and our neighborhood was violent). So even now I tend to go into a "blank" space when something bad happens (like when I was hit by a car).

That smile is going to haunt me in my nightmares. The way she’s smiling while pretending to cry. It’s so uncanny valley, looks almost not human
Omg uncanny valley is the only way to describe her smile. It’s so scary like she was possessed and the demon kept trying to show itself
You could think of Steph calling her Gollum from Lord Of The Rings 🤣😂 If it helps since Gollum is relatively harmless as well as it being unexpected in a good way. It is creepy though 😥
I have a feeling she's either possessed or not quite a human?.. 😦

He wasn't necessarily there every time the horrible events occurred. He may have been technically home but that doesn't mean he was inside or in the same room as her while she was doing the abuse. He might actually believe her lies and be blinded by love.
It wasn't until he passed away that we found out about the truth because police officers went to clear the house and they told some people that they always knew and would check on him to make sure he was behaving well and all that
So yeah, I can understand parents not doing a whole background check on someone they know to be a good person

This sounds morbid, but babies are not actually that fragile. They fall, roll off things, get dropped by tired parents, etc. and are generally fine. The amount of force you would need to FRACTURE THEIR SKULL is absolutely horrifying to think about.

@@mirosawwojewodzki5360hey now! I work in daycare as an infant teacher. Daycares get a bad reputation because the news only reports bad things that happen in some daycares. That doesn't mean they are all bad. I have been at the daycare where I work as an infant teacher for 7 years. The employee that made the false accusations had it out for the cook for a reason she had made up in her own mind!

her boyfriend needs to be in prison too. i dont think she acted alone
his outburst and the demeaning way he talked about the kids are big red flags
Idk why, but the whole "She's supposed to give me the babies when she's angry" sounded convincing to me
Ya part of me thinks maybe at least some of the times she was covering for him. Either way she's sick and evil so is he
Hearing the cries of those distraught women was so hard to listen to. The anger, the regret, the grief.. it's devastating when a mother loses her child, an infant at that. Wh had checked & fed him at 3:30 am but we woke again at 5:30 am and he was gone. He was still warm, his cheeks were still pink. I went over that morning hundreds and thousands of times…. I still miss him every day & it was 4 years ago. It’s categorized as SIDS but I think his airways may have been oddly shaped and caused sleep apnea. I have unusually shaped airways & my brother does too. We still don’t know if it was neurological or what. I have 1 regret & that was not donating his organs.
@@jennifergraceh
Oh yes, there’s definitely a strong cultural element to it all.

A very gleeful smile and given the context of the situation, completely inappropriate
Even without knowing any of the case details, seeing a person who takes care of children for a living smile like that after being told one of the children under their care is deceased…that’s a very big red flag. A red parachute, even
Wow, that’s a great observation and I think you’re spot on!
Why tf wasnt she in prison to begin with
White privilege
Because the "justice system" isn't just.

Thank you for covering this case. This happened in my home town, to people who I grew up with; my best friend’s nephew. Forever may you rest in paradise Benson Xiong
Hugs, I'm sorry for your loss. It's so sad that this happened.
hearing the mom cry and ask about her baby when she saw the ambulance just made me cry so much
You know, when my mom told me that my dad were exageratedly overprotective towards me and my brother when we were babies i used to agree with her that he was exagerated for needing to know every single thing before letting someone else take care of us...now im not anymore
Well you're most protective parent is not exaggerating. Because yes you have to be careful with your children There's weirdos everywhere and they like to work with children to harm them And it's only getting worse
@@Angelface11 sometimes they are really too much... but its kinda funny the stories i hear of my dad Standing in the nursery window like a guard dog 😂
Your father really cared, you are blessed.
It's funny how perspectives change when you grow up and realize how evil people can be.
Dang her smile crying trying not to laugh is what horror movies are mage of..You low-key nailed it with Gollum😢
(CSF leak from the brain or spinal column causes Intense IMMEDIATE migraine status headache pain!)
(Tibia.)
This baby was beaten over a period of time, in MULTIPLE, non-fatal injuries.
She gets off inflicting pain (sadist) and has ZERO empathy or ability to care that someone else is hurting.(Sociopath)
While most people tend to think psychopaths are worse than sociopaths; that's not always true.
Interesting information to read. It truly shows how evil this demon really is. Just the look in her eyes and her creepy smile shows who she really is
Thank you, yes, with #4 I also thought, _"HOW THE HELL!?!?!?"_
I used to work in post-disaster recovery (like after 9/11) so I learned about many of these autopsy terms almost through psychological osmosis, from hearing medical people discussing COD; but _THANK YOU SO MUCH_ for explaining the difference between psychopaths and sociopaths!
I'm screenshooting this to keep, it's a clear and succinct explanation.
I have an opinion on whether anyone is born evil:
I was born in a hellhole neighborhood and I suffered some terrible s***** abuse when I was a little girl by guys who I now think were sociopaths; and I grew up to be fiercely protective of children and animals.

Pure evil.
Right , I couldn't look at the video whenever her footage came on, it's so scary. What a horrible human being

Sooo creepy
It's the meth. She doesn't know how to use her expressions properly anymore. It's disturbing.
My school is about to have a unit on how to do CPR. It IS really important.
People like this disgust me. Like genuinely disgust me. People are awful. You know what? I don't wanna be human anymore. I'ma be a bird

My red flag was that an 11 week old newborn was in his carry-on car seat for more than 20 minutes including his snowsuit. Big no no when it comes to baby safety.
How is that a no no? I don't have kids so don't know why that'd be bad
@@MikaMEMMexactly, everything you just said is correct, im a mother and grandmother
All she regrets is getting caught
This in the whole body language reading science (fbi) is called a "Duper's Delight" smile. But this woman looks like being high af and a Duper's Delight is converging bizarrely...
Very similar to a tweaker smile. . .
YES!! when I was younger, my mom would ask me something and while she was scolding me i'd stare off into space thinking up a lie convincing enough. in my case, I look up or behind whoevers talking to me.

Some people work with children on purpose because they know they are kind and innocent. So so sad
They kinda not. maybe before the age of 3, afterb that it's usually bullying. killing and destroying ants, rippiing off wing from butterflies e,t,c, They stop doing all of that only if their caregiver teaches them not to, cos children are curious but not yet empathetic, so they are not kind
@@LSG101097it’s not that they aren’t emphatic in fact they can be it’s just that they don’t know what’s truly right and wrong at that age because they are children

I think they need a valid license before babysitting, parents should refrain from looking for cheap babysitting.
A lot of people don't have a choice, people can get pregnant unexpectedly and are in a position where they can't afford to not work. Also, cost isn't indicative of quality.

22:50 thank you for not going so heavy on the body language. As someone who just shuts down during/after a traumatic event, it always annoys me when people use their lack of a reaction as “evidence”.
Same. I learned as a little girl that showing fear/pain was dangerous, and just brought more attacks (my parents weren't abusive, but they were very young and often working/absent, and our neighborhood was violent). So even now I tend to go into a "blank" space when something bad happens (like when I was hit by a car).
