NO, some made noise. Im just curious who they were opening for? because they must have just wanted to see the main Band. when Cool & the gang opened for Van Halen a lot of people just didn't come until 8pm which sucks for KG BUT at least they didn't boo & throw things.
@@MetalHeart8787 a funk band and van Halen. how weird
One of the most professional bands I've ever seen was Needtobreathe. Halfway through the 2nd song, for some strange reason, the lead singer's voice went out. They finished the 2nd song and he told the audience what was going on. He said (voice cracking and all) it was weird, he wasn't sick but for some reason his voice went out. He then said, "you guys are here for a rock show and that's what you're gonna get!" He relied on the electric guitarist to sing as well as the audience. They didn't miss a beat and it was a killer show! He just kept rocking even though he couldn't sing. Absolute class act!!! Already loved them as a band but that night they went up another level for me.
Sabaton did that too in France on Hellfest. Manowar cancelled and Sabaton was asked to play headliner the same day. Joakim (Singer) blew his voice a couple of songs in and the 2 guitarrists Tommy and Chris sang the rest of the show. Tommy is an AMAZING singer and Chris sounds kinda like Joakim, wish i hade been there to see it. Saw them 2 days later at Graspop but by then Joakims voice had recovered (kinda wanted to see the other 2 sing since i've seen Sabaton a billion times).
Donrhos Total professionals. Love it!
...Maybe he just....needed to breathe...
HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
One time Bon Jovi got sick at a concert and he couldn’t sing so he got a fan from the crowd to replace him for the remainder of the show
I had gone to a Rob Zombie show a few years ago and he was pretty sick. He came on before the show and explained "I would rather die on stage than cancel a show."
The guy making sheep noises over guitar feedback and tuning was like some kind of 70s free jazz abstract art.
Yoko and him should collabo
Lou Reed vibes
I will defend an artist's right to walk out on an audience who is throwing bottles at them.
So one guy can ruin it for everyone? Sure its unacceptable but thats like a kid swearing at his teacher and she gives everyone detention
@@Llama_charmer Nah, usually it takes more than one bottle for a band to walk out and that shit's dangerous. If security can't handle the crowd it's time to fuckin' bail.

People throw shit on stage and even at the band and they get pissed when the band gets upset..... Strange
@AffiliatePro If you were in a band playing on stage would you like stuff thrown at you. Probably not
@AffiliatePro You did notice that the bands in the video only stop playing when people through shit at them. The way you're phrasing it is that you're trying to blame the band for starting to piss people off before they started throwing shit
@@mdeangelo2434 it depends if its beer ill take it haja im staritng a band called The Four Horsemen and we will play good old Punk Rock like The Stooges, Ramones or even Dead Kennedys haha and I will let any kid in stage!! Just like the old school CBGB!!!

Yeah, I never could figure that one out either, so don't feel bad. lol
Green day did the opposite of the list. He wanted to keep going!!
He got super pissed and I don't blame him. If it was anyone else I'd have called them out for breaking the guitar but he went into rehab 2 days later. I feel for him, gott alive Billie joe
In an extended cut he explains more why he's pissed, which was because he's been doing this for decades and they were going to cut their set short. I'm sure there were probably newer artists going over or something too. I'd be mad too.
Axl reminds me of Cartman. "Screw you guys, I'm going home!"

I've seen Aaron Lewis live before. He plays the last song (which is a "thank you" to his fans) completely unplugged. You can hear it if you STFU. You're in the "audience" which comes from the latin "audi" meaning "TO LISTEN."

I was 2 hours late to an Axl Rose concert once. Still had to wait 1 hour for him to show up.
Say what you want but Nickelback had the most diehard haters out there. Imagine buying a ticket to a show just to boycot it.
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was a festival.
That was a fest and probably a metal fest and I would not have made that fans guilty cuz they came for serious chugging, not a completely comercial band
@@ericvalverderosado2046 Ah good point. I have read stories about hateclubs actually going to their concerts tho. And either way, if I dont like a band at a festival, you'll find me at the bar, not the frontrow.

The Green Day one wasn't about the fans but about being last on a concert and having no time left.
Seriously, they didn't storm off stage, they were pissed they were going to be forced off stage. It's literally the opposite of what this video is supposed to be a compilation of.
True, but Billie Joe Armstrong was also trashed as fuck during that show. He's mentioned that in later interviews.
@@richards.5964 yeah he was trashed but he was having a good time, i thought i read somewhere they originally had like 10 minutes left but then they changed it to 1 minute, just enough to finish the song they were currently doing, so naturally he was pissed and i dont agree that he ever had to apologize for doing what he did.

I've seen a singer in tears because they were unwell and couldn't sing after 2-3 songs. So she apologized to the audience, passed the mic to another band member and did her best on the guitar. It was good, actually. It was only a local band. I think people respected that she'd made an effort. Realised it wasn't possible and come up with something that meant people got something.
Also seen a drummer get his head split open by thrown bottle. Which is never funny, but this guy has a day job and doesn't need to turn up with stitches in his face on Monday. Seriously. F*cking quit throwing bottles on stage. People can get seriously hurt, and I don't blame the guys when they walk off if bottles are thrown. It's so stupid. Even if they suck, it's no justification for doing something that could, for instance, blind someone.

The band did handle it poorly though, they never came back on stage and explain what happened. They just walked out.
Same with guns ‘n roses. Unfortunately for axl, his actions caused a riot… in MONTREAL, of all places!
Yeah they should've explained though. I was at a show once when the singer fucked up his voice. The other members came back out, sincerely apologized, and told us they would rescheduled the show to the end of the tour. I remember a Rammstein concert where their firework display knocked out the whole concert electricity, and as awkward as it was then we all stayed as the quietest loud band ever played their last songs acoustically.

4:26 I don’t blame that guy for a moment. I’ve performed comedy off and on for ten years. There are so many times when I just want to walk off because people are absorbed in their own conversations. It’s like “why did you even buy a fu[king ticket? You could have sat at home and had this talk.”
Michael G yeah but I bet when you performed comedy in front of less people they this you had a mic. He expects an unplugged acoustic guitar to be able to travel across a room of a few hundred people. Even if they weren’t talking all their bodies would absorb the sound about 2 rows in.
@@soleneisconbi7302That's odd. When I was in theatre plays, you could hear every instrument in the entire theatre. No instruments were plugged in, and we had no microphones. People cheered at parts of the play, and laughed loudly at other parts. When it came to the quieter parts of the performance, all one thousand people could hear just fine. We very rarely had to ask the audience to quiet down. However, when we did, you could hear a pin drop on stage from at least 2 rows back. Have you ever heard a loud breather from across the room? That is equal to the approximately 10 decibels of a pin dropping. The average guitar playing is at about 80 decibels. You can hear 80 decibels from 30 meters away, and that's without the built in acoustics of the building helping you. That's over 100 feet. Most people play guitar louder than that on stage, especially when they are trying to play over people talking during a live performance.
Those must be some massively tall and thick bodies, in the front two rows of wherever you're talking about, in order to block the sound.

Ozzfest 97 I believe, in Columbus Ohio, Manson and Pantera where both on the tour. MM had a better slot on the line up and apparently this motivated Pantera. Pantera crushed it that day, one of the best and most energized sets I've ever seen live. When MM took the stage with all their gimmicks the crowd was not buying it and booed them right off the stage MM then tried to bully some kid working with the equipment for a better mic. This only intensified the hostility from the crowd. Same show, Ozzy missed out due to illness and there was a bomb threat in the parking lot. They didnt want people to leave due to the threat. They never told the crowd that Sabbath wasnt performing. Instead we waited for two hours and eventually members of Pantera and Type 0 did a jam session and Phil broke the news to the crowd about Ozzy being ill. Entire audience: ...........................
Glad my favorite bands are not on here.

@@Subbingz65 I'm 46 so, Sacrifice, KREATOR, Fuckin SLAYER, Judas, Testament... I can go on, please don't find a vid of these guys being a shit head.

I've been to one show where the band nearly walked off. One loud ass jerk wanted to yell over everything and boo the band (the Daughters) relentlessly. They took a quick moment, decided to keep going, and fucking rocked our faces off. Hell of a performance
I gotta Say Aaron Lewis was really pissed off about people talking, He sounds like a teacher trying to go through his/her lesson, and kids in the back of the room won't stop talking to each other, and then the teacher gets pissed off. That's what he sounds like.
Yes, but one is entertaining grown-ass adults who paid to see the act. While the teacher is dealing with immature children who are forced to be there.
Why pay money for a ticket to a show, just to ruin the show? Not something a legitimate fan of the act would do.
Some of these were painful to watch. But I feel a couple need some back stories. Like why did Manson walk out? Or what did Volbeat say right before they left?
I think the lead vocalist for Volbeat was about to have his vocal chords blown out so he really couldn't do an entire show. It wasn't the fans
Amen. I know we all hate those videos where the person talk too much instead of playing the clip, but a lot of these could have used an explanation.
With the Nickelback guy it looked like a language problem. He didn't speak Portuguese and the crowd didn't understand his English.
band: "any nickelback fans?" crowd: "we want our nickel back!"
Someone should tell Aaron Lewis about a brilliant invention called "amps"
You dont talk through and during acoustic music.
Thats rude.
Go to some edm club if you dont care about the music thats played.
You will meet more like you to talk to while the music plays.
@Hilltop Slim 614 Or maybe rent a fucking amplifier?
@Chris E. so you loose all your respectfull behaviour after a few beers ?
Your whole town ? 😂
Damn what a shithole that is.
All the concerts i have been to, when there where acoustic parts in the set.
People start whispering when they really need to say something.
Just a matter of respect.
@Chris E. you arent really talking for yourself either right ?
People arent going to be silent when alcohol is being served you claim.
You started without any nuance yourself.
Back in 1990, Heart was in Edmonton for a show. A friend and I got tickets and went to show. The opening act was a little known band (at the time) called the Black Crows. About mid-way through their show, the lead singer started getting pissed at the crowd since no one was standing, clapping or otherwise cheering. The crowd was just not into their style of music. The singer shouted "you better get off your f*@king asses for this next one!" Predictably, no one got up. Half-way through the song, the singer kicked a bucket of water that was on the stage out onto the crowd and shouted "F*@k you, Edmonton!", then he and the band walked off. They got their best applause of the night after that.
you have to be absolute trash to piss the Melvins off. some the most chill and talented musicians out there.
I though that thumbnail was jared dines with super long hair.
lol
Jared would be offended and happy with that lol
@Danny Dircio I wish I was 13 again :(
if they wanted to hear some rock and roll they wouldn't be at a Nickelback concert
It was a Slipknot concert that Nickelback was playing with
😂
I remember German Band Eisregen walking off the Stage after half their set at a Festival. They had technical issues beyond repair there (not only Eisregen, but the Festival in general) and they couldn't finish a single Song without serious issues. They left saying, roughly translated "We had enough of this shitshow, if you wanna see this done professionally you are invited to our Tour later this year."
I was there for that one. And I was, and I went. It was nice. Kind of surprised somebody knows of them.
@@Predalien195 oh come on, eisregen is is no underground band, they are pretty well known, when in comes to the metal scene (at least in germany)
@@Murlak In Germany no, plenty of people know of them. Outside of Germany? Not so many I can say.
@@Murlak I'm Dutch and I never heard of them, gotta look them up now and listen to their stuff!
@@MurlakThey have albums that are banned. How can they sell those records if not underground?
This is what made Ronnie James DIO the man, he would sing for 10000 people or 100 because he was grateful for the people who showed up no matter the quantity..

That was probably the most rock you'll ever get in a Nickelback concert.
We Texans don’t claim the first dude
Confirmed.
Chevelle walked off stage 3 songs into their set back at Ozzfest AO3 here in Buffalo New York Darien Lake Performing Arts Center. It was a rainy rainy day when people way back on the lawn were throwing mud at each other not at the band just people on the lawn in the pouring rain having fun throwing mud at each other. The lead singer felt like everybody was only paying attention to the people throwing mud and not Chevelle and Pete walked off stage
At the Drive-In: "It's sad when the only way to express yourself is through slam dancing."

Me: I mean they do want to hear rock and roll but not your rock and roll c'mon .I mean common do you consider yourself rock and roll Chad Kroeger .
Have these bands never seen the blues brothers movie?
Get some chicken wire
3:01 Great shot! You know whoever threw that called after that: "from DOWN TOWN!"
At the drive in sounded good for a bit then I realized I had my music on in another tab.
Dang, with the picture you chose I thought you were gonna include the St. Louis riot lol.
Tbh, you could make a whole documentary about how many times Axl has walked offstage...
3:59 That's a fucking STRONG guitar right there, man!!! Only after the fifth hit that the neck broke!
I wouldn't consider green day walking out lmao
For real, they were at the end of the set anyway about to probably be forced off stage. If anything, Billy Joe was trying to shame the organizers into giving them more time.
If you go to a show and you throw some shit on stage... you DESERVE the band walking off!
4:41
AHAHAHAHAHA
Axl Rose in the thumbnail? Who is surprised
Eh not me. Even though he's a crybaby when it comes to hard Rock.
Not me, he’s the big dickhead in rock music.
