  • Valemount Bike Park in northern BC is kind of out of the way; it takes some time to get there. But the travel time is worth it, the features are unique and the trails are amazing.

You can hear the native language of Yuka randomly pop up all the time and I love that. People reacting in a language that i don't understand is funny af.

It’s so fun watching Erik and Yuka puzzling through the trails. I have the same anxiety on these sort of things and it’s not fun. Please make a video of all the sounds that Yuka can make!

I am always impressed with how Yuka can case all those jumps and not die (I would). She just soaks them up and bangs on NBD.
Looks like a lot of fun.

Love that you can take an actually applicable life lesson out of your trip to this park and share it with all of us in the form of an engaging video.
Your storytelling is some of the best the mountain biking community has to offer, and for that I am super thankful.

Man, Valemount is only about 5 hours from us here in Edmonton and I'm choked that I didn't get a chance to make it out this year. Certainly looks like it's worth keeping on the list! Thanks for the tour and the story. Best v/o in the game!

Nice vid! Our group was sessioning that big Turducken gap this summer. Speed was key...seemed to work best if you go no-brakes from the switchback, and take the inside line on that last left-hander (8:58 in your video).

There is! Yellowhead Campground is awesome and is where the mtb crowd usually stays. There is also Irwin's and Canoe River. Or, if you like to crown land/dry camp, there are lots of awesome rec sites on Kinbasket Lake about 20 min out of town.

Rode there this summer with my wife and 2 boys (7 and 10). It was so good. We climbed to the midpoint twice - and that was a lot. 7 km climb each time. After that we started shuttling with our truck. My wife and I took turns driving. We go to Jasper every summer so we’ll definitely be adding this to our trip.

I’ve ridden Valemount a few times and I still can’t find my MoJo in some of the sections. It would be nice If the trail builders worked on the flow of the trail a little more. I’m sure I’ve made a few of those noises that Yuka was putting out. I love your content and how you break down some of your thought processes. BTW I couldn’t do the same gap. It feels like your going to ride straight into the tree
