Well, actually stuff that Angie siad about Atua, was right really often. If you think about it, the idea of not using the flashback lights was good (It was kinda the motive in chapter 5), making nighttime forced to spend in your room, and overall she always was onto something, but because we thought it was stupid, nobody considered Atua to be actually real.

@@resica7097 The point of executing her was simply to cover for the mastermind and continue the game without interruption. Kaede had already sealed her fate once she rolled that shot into the vent, whether it hit Rantaro or not.
Damn it, Shuichi; for the complete entirety of the game, i was convinced he was the mastermind. His actions in that first case was so suspicious, and I thought that Kaede had planned that whole thing to actually kill Shuichi as she figured out he was the Mastermind, but got Rantaro instead.
KOkichi’s plan was extremely improvised in a short amount of time. He had probably thinked this through while he gone throughout the majority of chapter 5. He had alot of time to write the scripted lines, even if it was before Maki showed up and shot kokichi, leading to kaito protecting him (to save her from being punished) and him also getting poisoned as well. However, It would have been impossible for kokichi to write all those lines down before the poison would reach his system while simultaneously acting out his own death. Komaeda, you could say is a whole diff story all together XD Everything he does comes from his insane luck and misfortune. He never succeeded in becoming the ultimate hope himself but he was the one who brought hajime and the others closer together from chiaki’s untimely demise(and the traitor coincidentally opening the door that started the poison gas and brought down the spear that killed Nagito.)

i actually thought it was rantaro, he always seemed suspicious to me. because he was the only one who didn't know his own talent, he remembered the "ultimate hunt", also his ultimate lab's art, and the way the ultimate lab looked.
Honestly, I really didn't like Tsumugi. I actually thought Kokichi would be a more interesting mastermind just because he is a more interesting character than Tsumugi. (EDIT) I disagree with my statement that Kokichi would be a more interesting mastermind. He is definitely a more interesting character, but him being the mastermind would actually ruin his whole character and role in the story. Tsumugi still sucks tho
She kept talking about how bloody plain she was and contributed nothing to the trials save for redundant comments following every perverted joke made by any one of the other female characters. Very quickly became obvious that she was the mastermind, yeah.
I dunno if this is intentional or not but the motive behind the second murders always seem to involve a code of honor that the killer goes by, whether it be Mondo's promise between men, Peko's loyalty to her young master, or Kirumi's need to serve her people.
in the third chapter, whoever is rightly accused as the killer also seems to go insane (celeste because of people realizing that she was lying, mikan because of despair and love for junko, korekiyo because of his love for his sister)

Actually, I think he died from the poison right before the press smashed him, you can see his face becoming purple seconds before the press came down. Thats my take on it anyway.
laralissia His face becoming purple/blue was more of him getting light-headed from the thought of him being crushed. Look back to the first DR where Naegi/Kirigiri were going to be crushed to death, and their faces slowly get blue as they get nearer to the press.

@@calliopedollhouse259 Kaede was more then that she was his partner in this mission to take The Mastermind and she figured out The Mastermind who later be revealed to be Tsumugi essentally rigged the first trial to result in either her or Shuichi being framed and unfairly executed so she used logic correctly and deduced that out of the two of them it would be the smart play if she got unfairly executed and Shuichi survives to finish their mission so she plays one final move that being what is known in chess as the Queen's Gambit basically she sends a Shuichi a non-verbal message during the trial to utilize the evidence that would result in her being framed for Rantaro's death, and as a result unfairly executed that way Shuichi survives and eventually expose The Mastermind so she was in reality setting the stage for Tsumugi's defeat as her Queen's Gambit is a successful move as Shuichi does in the end complete their mission and exposes Tsumugi as The Mastermind. I imagine Kaede as she was being unfairly executed mentally stating as she accepted her wrongful death that her requiem, her final song performed would be titled Queen's Gambit as it symbolizes how her sacrifice ultimately sets the stage for The Mastermind's defeat as the one person who can expose The Mastermind and bring an end to the Killing Game her partner and boyfriend Shuichi The Ultimate Detective survives to finish the mission they started.

It's interesting that some of the culprit silhouettes have distinguishing features associated with the characters they represent this time. Without spoiling too much, the gloves and the backpack are relevant, but I'm a bit surprised that they included a certain someone's glasses, since they didn't end up being a clue.
Then it would have not been a proper killing game. Nobody would have been entertained... What I don't understand is him using that motive in the first place. If everything really was created the way they wanted, why make such an error?...

Djinn Hoopa No, they should have definietly known about Rantaro's message, why would they let him record it without any surveillance? I guess they could have planned Kaede's murder scheme, but they didn't expect it to fail. The only one that wasn't planned is chapter 5.
I just realized something about the first motive. The one about the timer. It said that whoever was forced to participate in the killing game would die. At the end of the game, it's revealed that they all auditioned, or *_wanted_* to be in the killing game. Nobody would die if the timer hit 0.
Actually, Rantaro would probably the one who would die - while he wanted Danganronpa 52, he never enrolled in V3 cast of his own volition. There's also a chance that Tsumugi would be dead too, since Shuichi deduced that at the last killing game there was a "sacrifice of two" who were forced to be part of V3 cast. And while Rantaro was forced via "Ultimate Survivor" talent, Tsumugi could be forced to be mastermind. It's entirely possible via Flashback Light, considering there's actually a big theory that Tsumugi was lying the entire time at the trial, thus - making it probable that she was lying not as someone who wanted to lie, but because she did believe in the things she said, which would imply that her head was messed up with.
Honestly Kirumi's murder plan is my favorite of all times especially with the way she transported Ryomas body from one area to another is pretty much out of an action filled movie.

The art-style in these comics is honestly really adorable. I love it a lot!! Also, I love how calm and quiet Shuichi is when he explains the cases; even though he doesn’t have much confidence as a detective, like a true detective, he certainly knows how to act when in serious situations like explaining crimes.
I like how most cases have to do with a culprit's possession that is also shown: For Kaede it's the backpack For Kirumi it's the gloves For Kaito it's the jacket For Tsumugi it's the glasses It's pretty cool and they never did it in the first two games

why does my favorite character in each series always feel the need to kill themselves. first Sakura then Nagito, even though he lived but at the time I thought he was dead, and then Kokichi. KOKICHI LITERALLY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT.
The fact that Kokichi did that makes it unbelievable. So it makes it seem as if Kaito was the one that was killed and not Kokichi just so then his plan can go into full fruition.

KOkichi’s plan was extremely improvised in a short amount of time. He had probably thinked this through while he gone throughout the majority of chapter 5. He had alot of time to write the scripted lines, even if it was before Maki showed up and shot kokichi, leading to kaito protecting him (to save her from being punished) and him also getting poisoned as well. However, It would have been impossible for kokichi to write all those lines down before the poison would reach his system while simultaneously acting out his own death.
Komaeda, you could say is a whole diff story all together XD Everything he does comes from his insane luck and misfortune. He never succeeded in becoming the ultimate hope himself but he was the one who brought hajime and the others closer together from chiaki’s untimely demise(and the traitor coincidentally opening the door that started the poison gas and brought down the spear that killed Nagito.)

The thing with Tsumugi being the mastermind felt so obvious, she seemed to be pushing on the characters, and seemed too innocent.
i actually thought it was rantaro, he always seemed suspicious to me. because he was the only one who didn't know his own talent, he remembered the "ultimate hunt", also his ultimate lab's art, and the way the ultimate lab looked.
Honestly, I really didn't like Tsumugi. I actually thought Kokichi would be a more interesting mastermind just because he is a more interesting character than Tsumugi.
(EDIT) I disagree with my statement that Kokichi would be a more interesting mastermind. He is definitely a more interesting character, but him being the mastermind would actually ruin his whole character and role in the story. Tsumugi still sucks tho
I didn't think it would be Tsumugi, I guess because I really liked her.
She kept talking about how bloody plain she was and contributed nothing to the trials save for redundant comments following every perverted joke made by any one of the other female characters. Very quickly became obvious that she was the mastermind, yeah.
i thought that was just her quirk in all honesty, like how nagito in the second game was so obsessed over the ultimates "fighting against despair".
I dunno if this is intentional or not but the motive behind the second murders always seem to involve a code of honor that the killer goes by, whether it be Mondo's promise between men, Peko's loyalty to her young master, or Kirumi's need to serve her people.

There's also always two victims in Chapter 3 as well as the culprit usually having the least sympathetic reason as to why they committed murder.

Actually, I think he died from the poison right before the press smashed him, you can see his face becoming purple seconds before the press came down. Thats my take on it anyway.

@@calliopedollhouse259 Kaede was more then that she was his partner in this mission to take The Mastermind and she figured out The Mastermind who later be revealed to be Tsumugi essentally rigged the first trial to result in either her or Shuichi being framed and unfairly executed so she used logic correctly and deduced that out of the two of them it would be the smart play if she got unfairly executed and Shuichi survives to finish their mission so she plays one final move that being what is known in chess as the Queen's Gambit basically she sends a Shuichi a non-verbal message during the trial to utilize the evidence that would result in her being framed for Rantaro's death, and as a result unfairly executed that way Shuichi survives and eventually expose The Mastermind so she was in reality setting the stage for Tsumugi's defeat as her Queen's Gambit is a successful move as Shuichi does in the end complete their mission and exposes Tsumugi as The Mastermind. I imagine Kaede as she was being unfairly executed mentally stating as she accepted her wrongful death that her requiem, her final song performed would be titled Queen's Gambit as it symbolizes how her sacrifice ultimately sets the stage for The Mastermind's defeat as the one person who can expose The Mastermind and bring an end to the Killing Game her partner and boyfriend Shuichi The Ultimate Detective survives to finish the mission they started.

It's interesting that some of the culprit silhouettes have distinguishing features associated with the characters they represent this time. Without spoiling too much, the gloves and the backpack are relevant, but I'm a bit surprised that they included a certain someone's glasses, since they didn't end up being a clue.

I just realized something about the first motive. The one about the timer. It said that whoever was forced to participate in the killing game would die. At the end of the game, it's revealed that they all auditioned, or *_wanted_* to be in the killing game. Nobody would die if the timer hit 0.

Actually, Rantaro would probably the one who would die - while he wanted Danganronpa 52, he never enrolled in V3 cast of his own volition. There's also a chance that Tsumugi would be dead too, since Shuichi deduced that at the last killing game there was a "sacrifice of two" who were forced to be part of V3 cast. And while Rantaro was forced via "Ultimate Survivor" talent, Tsumugi could be forced to be mastermind. It's entirely possible via Flashback Light, considering there's actually a big theory that Tsumugi was lying the entire time at the trial, thus - making it probable that she was lying not as someone who wanted to lie, but because she did believe in the things she said, which would imply that her head was messed up with.
