Currently my daily driver is the palma being nicely pocketable. It would be nice if the other boox have the super refresh feature of palma or have a new version of palma with Android 12.
On the fence on current eink reading tablets cause Im still unsure if I wanna spend more money on features I don't need. The go color 7 is getting there but would be nice if there is one that isn't color and focuses more on the blacks and possibly have the power button move elsewhere.
Actually, the Mobiscribe Origin has a Wacom layer at 6.8".
Maybe you can make a video on how you clean your devices.... I know it sounds kind of superfluous, but since there are glass and plastic screens, aluminum and plastic cases, etc., it would be nice to have an expert's opinion on what tools and liquids to use.
I use the same cleaner for the screens as I do for my (plastic) reading glasses and a microfiber cloth. But I'm not sure if this is the best method...

🙋♂Hi Kit! The Boox Go 10.3 is for me, as I rather wait to see if any improvements are made in color technology for e-ink devices in the future. Already have the NA3C, so no need for any more color at the moment. Kudos from NYC.🗽

How do you juggle having so many Boox devices?
My ideal setup is to have a pocketable e-reader as a daily reader (Palma, Go Color 7) and to pair it with an e-ink tablet (Tab Ultra C Pro) for reading all the same things plus PDFs and writing in Obsidian. I'd like my books, reading progress, notes, and highlights to be synced between them, but I recently learned that Boox only syncs notes and not books. I heard that the closest you can get to them functioning together is MANUALLY adding the books to all devices and putting them in the same folder structure. Is that not intolerably annoying?
When I start a new book I move it to my "In Rotation" folder so I don't forget what I'm reading. Once I export the highlights and notes and then move it back to a shelf for organization.
Is there an easy way to pair a Go Color 7 with a Palma and/or Ultra C Pro and to have everything synced together? Amazon has already absolutely nailed this by storing all your books (even those not purchased from Amazon) in the cloud and syncing your reading progress, notes, and highlights across all your devices. That's all I want for my Boox devices.
You could install something like Koreader on the devices, I haven't used it myself but I understand it sync progress between different devices and os. Stefan Svartling has a video on yt about it
Aaah… Now I understand why Kobo went with a capacitative stylus on the Libra Colour. I look forward to seeing what Boox does with the format!
Yep, but Kobo are sticking with the capacitive pen for the Elipsa as well, so I think they've chosen that! I think it's cheaper to use that tech, but certainly the Wacom is the gold standard, and I hope to see it come to the smaller sized screens. 🙂
@@KitBetts-Masters I have mixed feelings about it- losing the Wacom layer makes Kaleido look noticeably nicer, and I’m not about to write a novel on a 7” tablet anyway. But Wacom would still be a nice upgrade- especially with a good drawing app like Supernote.
Boox Go Color 7 or Bigme B751C?? Does Onyx support a kobo stylus??
Hey Kit! I just got the Go 7 Color today and unfortunately can't get it to do much of anything. I own a Boox Leaf, Boox Nova 3 Color, a Bigme Inknote Color for Android ereaders - as well as ReMarkable 2, Kindles, etc. I currently can't get the Go 7 Color to use gestures, app optimize (ex. Besides neo reader, the page turn buttons are not working, I also can't get it to refresh each page as I normally have it set for when I read comics/graphic novels). So no auto-refresh, manual refresh, or page turn buttons working. I don't normally buy devices this early from release - I am curious in your experience with new Boox devices if it usually takes a while for them to get the latest devices to sync up with their other units, etc.? It says I have the latest firmware update. I am sure it will eventually get sorted out, just curious of your thoughts or experiences with new devices
Once it is sorted I believe it will be my favourite eReader 😁. It physically feels premium, the magnetic case feels great - it just doesn't really work much at all at the moment 😅
Huh, how weird is that?! I've never had a new Boox device seem so far from done. I would suggest you write in the feedback section in the settings. I know they've told me to make sure I update before testing the device. So maybe the firmware wasn't quite ready when they popped them on the box?! Cheers!

@KitBetts-Masters Thank you for the response! Yes! It's very weird! I did send feedback through settings to Boox 😁. I also checked the firmware and it says it is currently up to date, it's been frustrating, but I also, maybe naively, believe that Boox will somehow sort it all out 😅. I've yet to come across another person who owns one yet though, so I'm curious to see if it is an issue with my device or if all Go users are experiencing it. Once this is sorted out it will be an amazing eReader!! 😁

I wonder if Boox listened to reMarkable 2 reviews ... and basically created a "RM2 clone" with Android added features/bonuses with the Go 10.w3 ... and acting with the release while users waiting for the RM3
What is the difference between the different UI’s (tab vs note vs go)?
Tab has more of a stock android feel. You can use desktop widgets as well. Not has permanent quick access to notes and the library on the home screen. I don't know if there is a separate UI for go, I suspect it's the same as the note UI. 🙂
if I have more than one boox devices will they sync book progress? so, really, Im asking if I get a palma and something bigger and Im reading books will they speak to eachother so I can go back and forth seamlessly between devices and have them save my reading progress?
They certainly can. You have to set up book data syncing and manually save the same book to the same place on the device. Of course of you read on an app like kindle that will all be synced. 🙂

Good morning, if I understand correctly this mini-Tablet is equipped with USB-C port. If I directly connect an SSD to it will the content inside the drive be read ? (Obviously within the limits of Android compatibility...) Thanks.
Yeah, it can read a disk I'm pretty sure. It has an SD card slot as well if needed.

These feel unnecessary. Boox needs to update the Mira with color, make a phone and a laptop.
