If it's cold you'll get less. If you fire quickly it'll cool down and make pleasure pressure. Take your time between shots. Also a fresh cart will have more liquid and more pressure. There's also a paintball and airsoft counterpart to this. The paintball version is called the HDR which is a paintball revolver actually need for home defense because it is made the shoot pepper balls, bean bag rounds, and steel balls. And of course they're suffers and suits 6 mm airsoft BBs. I'm just looking at this up because it would be funny to bring to an airsoft event on April fool since that falls on Saturday. I actually have the airsoft version. All three are made by the exact same company which would be umarex. Wrecked is just a subdivision of rumorex in the same way as elite Force. Also being a subdivision for umarex. And also the airsoft version. Much like this is extremely efficient. My automatic airsoft guns can Only get like 75 shots before it runs out CO2 completely and those last few shots it struggles to chamber around. Of course this is a revolver so you pull the trigger. As long as there's even the size bits you too is going to shoot
I work at a paintball shop, and the reason why the chrono is so inconsistent and seems to drop with every shot is because of temperature. The faster you fire, the colder the cartridge gets and the lower the chrono. I think this would be better off using hpa and a remoteline because hpa does this way less.
If you fire it quickly the gas pressure drops suddenly to propel the projectile. This causes expansion of the CO2 still in the capsule, and due to adiabatic processes, will lower its temperature. You're losing gas pressure because it's literally freezing in the cylinder. If you wait between shots, it won't drop as quickly. Of course, you also have the normal drop in pressure as the CO2 is used up ALONG WITH the gas freezing in the cylinder. Try firing a shot and waiting 10 seconds, then firing another shot. If it has some time to sublimate some gas off the dry ice in the cylinder, you'll have more pressure in that shot. When the dry ice from adiabatic expansion is gone, and there's just gas left, it will quickly lose muzzle velocity until the cylinder is dry. The accuracy problem is due to the fact that it's a smoothbore. So the darts aren't being spun to stabilize them. They're subject to some wobbling and tumbling force, which is translated into "wild" shots and poor groupings. If you get accuracy from a 3-4" smoothbore barrel that's better than a pitched baseball, you're doing pretty well. Then there's elastic properties of the squishy plastic dart and the stiffness of the rubber tip that just add chaos into the system that changes the center of mass of the dart as it unevenly expands in flight. Even the Umarex HDR .50 that you referenced earlier has issues with accuracy due to the fairly short smoothbore barrel. You CAN get a longer barrel kit for the HDR, but it's still smoothbore. Some bullet-maker kits do address this with angled fins moulded into the casting, so the bullets spin a little as air travels over them and applies angular momentum. The HDR doesn't come with any orange whatsoever, so you must treat it as something a cop or member of the general public is going to perceive as a firearm. But I really like the HDR because of the ability to fire pepper balls (except in California, where they refuse to admit that pepper balls exist). They're not cheap, but they're available. I carry my HDR in a shoulder holster when I go for walks, first magazine all steel-bearing rubber, subsequent magazines 3 heavy rubber, 3 pepper, of which I carry 2. I also carry a couple of extra CO2 cylinders and an allen wrench. Why do I bother carrying this thing? Because of the damn paperwork and legal issues from using an actual firearm these days! Less-than-lethal is currently more likely to be treated as just that, especially the pepper rounds being treated as mace or pepper spray. I *could* easily carry a firearm -- I have them to carry AND my CCW -- but the political climate is a beast. If I think a given trip calls for a real firearm, I'll of course carry one. But if I'm only going out to walk the perimeter of my yard (.2km) for exercise, usually playing Pokemon Go as a sort of bribe to myself for going for a walk (yes, I'm old and I play Pokemon Go...sue me) and only really have to worry about the rare creepazoid that might try to assault me, a loose dog, or as is becoming more common these days, some sort of wild animal. They're out there, I can hear them, especially at night. We've got a fox den under our front porch -- I can hear them yiffing late at night (they're nocturnal) as this is mating season for foxes. We also get skunks and trash pandas, both of which are exceptionally susceptible to rabies, and foxes can get it, too. I think squirrels might be able to carry it, but then, squirrels can also carry Bubonic Plague, it's been detected in California and Colorado that I've heard of. They're both not to be taken lightly, as rabies and plague are NASTY ways to die that can be treated if caught early. So I carry something to deter human criminals, and to send any wild animal running, if not from getting hit, from the loud noise, or from the powder in the pepper balls. Those animal noses are a LOT more sensitive than our puny honkers. Considering that, being disabled from a car accident, I have to carry a low-recoil weapon in any case, the .50 ball is probably scarier to most animals than the .22 TCM 1911 I usually carry these days. (Yes, .22 caliber...but TCM is a centerfire round with around 2000 fps of muzzle velocity, and a fireball that is almost scarier than the massive BOOM the thing makes. But it's still only a .22 caliber projectile.) I wish I could take part in the kinds of fun simulated combat it sounds like you enjoy, but I can't. So I'll have to enjoy it vicariously through your videos! This was a good one!
I saw a video of someone who turned a Maverick into one of these by hooking a CO2 bike pump in place of the reverse plunger. Glad a company decided to make it a straight up blaster out of it.
You should try putting a big rubber band between the hammer and the barrel. I’ve filed off the little orange bridge so the band can sit without coming off, and it causes the hammer to strike the valve harder, and keep it open for a little longer. Maybe with a barrel extension it could really hit hard.
Oh hey, I have the airsoft version of these (the H8R). In the airsoft world it's known as a fantastic budget sidearm, it's nice to see the nerf version is viable as well.
Given the Fact I have the H8R airsoft revolver that I use to play airsoft with, good gun even got a disk holder for extra disk, 50 bucks is not that bad of a price point, but with the airsoft version you get like 5 disks for reloads.
Hi. By the way, when you were testing the performance: Don't forget that CO2 will drop down power by the time, you were shooting it! So the performance is between 80 to 150fps with this Umarex Rekt Jury. It Is normal with CO2. I Havel a CO2 airsoft gun. I Havel that issue all the time.
Its pretty obvious why the red one performed better. Not only is red a naturally spicy colour, but also... everyone knows... red makes things go faster!
They have steel bb variant a 6mm airsoft aka h8r and the paintball variant. the steel bb and airsoft are my favorites so I know i would like this as long as it has a reasonable distance.
There's a co2 bb revolver from Umarex called Tornado which this thing is based on. Exact same mechanism, almost the same shell, but that champ is crazy for the price. I've had one for a few years now, hasn't let me down yet although I got 4 lbs of empty canisters laying around. I also recommend applying some silicone lube onto the rubber before loading a canister. Have been doing that, the rubber is still as good as new, and also that allows for storing loaded without consequences
Was going to say the same, except in the U.S. it's called the Brodax. Handle co2 system and wrench, the cylinder pin is just like the Umarex revolver too. Rekt is probably an Umarex brand.
Those 12gram co2 carts will afford you about 30-50 shots so the fps going lower is 100% caused by the co2 the less in the canister the less pressure. Plus co2 don't like cold. And weather to hot will also effect the pressure. Same with elevation. 2 of my airsoft co2 pistols chronos at 320 another at 440 and my 4.5 mm crosman SNR.357 shoots at 500 fps. My lowest powered airsoft replica is a BB tactical m83 AEG and it chronos at 240 fps. The O rings in the 1 gun sounded damaged.
Personally I think air bladders are the way like with boom co however having the bladders be a non integral part like its on a rail and can be switched to a bigger bladder and a pump you buy separately but every gun comes with a pump system that works like the modulus tri strike
All double action revolvers i have used have a heavy pull for the first round. Most double action then I guess sort of recock the hammer or it is "cycled" you could say like this weird half cock so you only have a single action feeling pull for the next 4-5 rounds depending upon cylinder capacity. This probably just replicates the first double action pull because real firearms don't have to make room for a co2 cylinder. Or you can just start off by cocking the hammer and your first shot is a single. Then the rest are part of the double action cycle which I guess is really like a 1 and a half they just configure the first round fired from no cock to go through an extra half cycle.
I got one of these a couple of weeks ago after seeing someone post about it on r/nerf and I was extremely disappointed with it. I don't have a chronograph but mine felt like it had sub-elite performance and the accuracy was basically non-existent. Some shots went fairly straight for maybe 20 feet but most of them ended up fish tailing out of the barrel. It was nowhere near the advertised 80 feet and 130fps. I contacted Umarex to RMA it but after spending $11 of my own money to ship back my lemon (or maybe they're all garbage?) I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
Ah, CO2, I know thee well. Fire too fast? Performance drop off. Too cold outside? Performance drop off. Running low? Oh, that's a performance drop off.
This is almost identical to the airsoft H8r revolver (which is made by the same company). The mechanism and parts required to maintain pressure on a CO2 gun is fairly pricey so $50 is actually fairly reasonable coming from an airsofter.
Walcom, I have a question: I own a Vulcan I got from a resale store, but it doesn't have a chain/belt for darts. What would be the best route about obtaining one just so I can the complete aesthetic?

this is based off of their h8r revolver for airsoft or pellets. works the exact same way but the airsoft version is more expensive. also you can convert those to hpa or lpa if wanted
"At some games they are considered weapons" why is that?!
Because in some states and jurisdictions, a gas powered projectile shooting "thing" is considered legally a firearm.
@@jasonjulian1 when worded like that it makes a lot more sense now lol
Bruh how are black powder revolvers not considered firearms, but co2 powered nerf blasters are?!?!
@@phantomduck8247 because federal law.is stupid.
Black powder revolvers fall.into the antique firearms category and are not restricted like other firearms per the GCA.
Yes it's dumb.
@@phantomduck8247 Because the people that make laws are stupid and the system of laws takes forever to revise anything stupid. It's why there's tons of "blue laws" on the books that are either absurd to outright idiotcy
Perfect timing walcom. Seen the ad on yt yesterday and I was like “I hope walcom reviews this.” lol
At the end poor fish and also he found a solution to make that blaster more powerful than before he open it soooooooo good job
Idk if you know about the judge, that Taurus makes, but I bet that's why they named this jury. The judge can hold either five 45 caliber rds or five 410 shotg*n shells, or a combination of both. I've wanted one of those for a few years now, this is cheaper, so maybe.... Lol
Or if you get the raging judge magnum you can get 454 in it and it shoots
its a lot cheaper than a mk2, double action and holds the same amount of darts. seems pretty solid
Yeah I’m thinking the same thing
You guys got to be careful releasing that CO2 gas like that if there's a lot left it comes out very cold and it can damage the seals inside the pistol if you're going to release the gas you've got to give it a moment to warm up otherwise the seals will crack and you'll lose pressure
oh you know its spicy when you can see the vapors coming out
I had police knock on my door over a nerf gun I was stupid enough to leave on a table within visual range of the window once.
People mistaking brightly coloured nerf guns for actual guns is not as far fetched as I wish it was.
Ohhh thats not good.

You should get a vice to hold the guns so your accuracy test are more accurate
Thank you!
Please challenge Brett to a Sceptre battle. You & him are the only ones who have them.
I work at a paintball shop, and the reason why the chrono is so inconsistent and seems to drop with every shot is because of temperature. The faster you fire, the colder the cartridge gets and the lower the chrono. I think this would be better off using hpa and a remoteline because hpa does this way less.
The sound that comes out when you fired them was pretty cool, not gonna lie.
But it's still only a .22 caliber projectile.)
I wish I could take part in the kinds of fun simulated combat it sounds like you enjoy, but I can't. So I'll have to enjoy it vicariously through your videos! This was a good one!
it was a pain to get these here in Chicago. But it was very much worth it.
Again
The Splatoon shirt makes me think about how cool a Splatoon X NERF collab would be
Oh hey, I have the airsoft version of these (the H8R). In the airsoft world it's known as a fantastic budget sidearm, it's nice to see the nerf version is viable as well.
Given the Fact I have the H8R airsoft revolver that I use to play airsoft with, good gun even got a disk holder for extra disk, 50 bucks is not that bad of a price point, but with the airsoft version you get like 5 disks for reloads.
the gunz lobby music gets me every time
I like how there’s a gate to load, & you don’t have to remove the whole thing. Like just in case you only have seconds to put a bullet in.

Finally, thank you so much for the review and the little mod video. Now I think it's time to buy.
I got one for 25 dollars it is now my dedicated secondary
Red makes it shoot faster, gotta love that Ork WAAAGH energy in the universe
The glasses from party city make it better 💀💀💀
Opened it up to take out air restrictor. A little arm fella fell out and one retention spring. Need some advice.
Best shooting range in the game ! I’ve been shouting this since the beginning… make it so we can see the shots
The removable rotating thingy makes this gun feel like the wingman form apex
Awesome to see Luchathor in this vid
Just finished moddin my hammershot.. and was saying this would be killer if co2 powered.... and this vid comes out!
@@jasonjulian1 not probably but definitely. And that btw is why my faith is strongly in this lil mf
hey what’s that target practice thing called?
The squeaky walcom voice killed me XD
Those 12gram co2 carts will afford you about 30-50 shots so the fps going lower is 100% caused by the co2 the less in the canister the less pressure. Plus co2 don't like cold. And weather to hot will also effect the pressure. Same with elevation. 2 of my airsoft co2 pistols chronos at 320 another at 440 and my 4.5 mm crosman SNR.357 shoots at 500 fps. My lowest powered airsoft replica is a BB tactical m83 AEG and it chronos at 240 fps. The O rings in the 1 gun sounded damaged.
the first song in the video is called "Time Station" by "Soichi Terada"
Personally I think air bladders are the way like with boom co however having the bladders be a non integral part like its on a rail and can be switched to a bigger bladder and a pump you buy separately but every gun comes with a pump system that works like the modulus tri strike
“Bladder”
So either the red one had a little extra spice, or the blue one was a bit of a lemon
this is literally just the nerf version of a H8ter revolver from elite force down to the shell and way it functions.
yeah literally the same grip idk how legal that is
There both made by umerex elite force is just the name they use for there airsoft products
I wonder what the most accurate off the shelf blaster you can buy is ? I'm thinking the nexus or aeon pro (also Stryker)
This reminds me alot of an airsoft gun called the elite force h8r its all very similar
I agree, they are similar
Honestly, looks like the K's blaster from Blade Runner 2049. Good option for a repaint for any cosplayers.
It's a dart version of a umarex brodax. The brodax is a CO2 BB pistol
what if you shot spent co2 cartridges from it? too big? can you shoot metal pellets? isnt it just a cop2 pellet gun?
A lot of companies have the co2 tool in the handle
This is a rework of the Umarex Broadax CO2 BB pistol. I have one, it's fantastic.
I ordered one about a week ago and haven't heard anything lol.
Do you have the 1992 target master suction cup arrows in the package yet?
Thank you fuzzy walrus sir, I'm trying to figure out the best blaster I can buy, what are your favorites?
We need this applied to megaXL darts!
Love it, can't wait till it hits Canada!
Rekt: hey Uramex, can I copy your H8R Homework?
Uramex: sure, just don't make it oblivious .....
Basically an airsoft H8R for nerf, down to the in-handle tool, its awesome.
Ah, CO2, I know thee well. Fire too fast? Performance drop off. Too cold outside? Performance drop off. Running low? Oh, that's a performance drop off.
BEHOLD, THE LUCHA LAUNCHERS 0:43
This could really work cool for irish cosplay! The scene is much more chill and lax, so I dont think there would be much worry about the co2
Wdym Irish cosplay
This is almost identical to the airsoft H8r revolver (which is made by the same company). The mechanism and parts required to maintain pressure on a CO2 gun is fairly pricey so $50 is actually fairly reasonable coming from an airsofter.
btw merch link appears to not be working for me at least
ik im late but that is just the h8r which is a airsoft co2 pistol
Walcom, I have a question:
I own a Vulcan I got from a resale store, but it doesn't have a chain/belt for darts. What would be the best route about obtaining one just so I can the complete aesthetic?
Kind of reminiscent of the airsoft H8R from elite force, I believe umerex also had a hand in the design of the h8r so doesn't surprise me tbh
Can you add a link to where you can find them? they look pretty cool
Luca is great. Fun but co2 is not my favorite. But the inconsistency is odd. Going to need to test all the parts of the system.
Oh man, the inconsistency between the two is so frustrating
Is there any way it can be purchased from Europe? Rekt doesn't appear to ship them here.
There's a tool I found on thingiverse that will insert on top of a dart post, then you twist and it removes the dart post. That way you might be able to put more than 2 .50 cal foam paintballs
Red ones go fastah!!
