I feel like the vision I got hits pretty hard (i dont have a crono) and it's definitely accurate as hell, it could be just an issue with the one you used in this vid
But only at 13-15 feet from the target. Clearly the further away the target, the more pronounced any accuracy differences will become. And 15 feet isn't very far for testing rounds that will easily fly 4 times that distance.
Am i the only one who wants a full auto blaster with a priming handle? Theres something about it thats super satisfying. Performance can be meh if it activates neurons lol
Little surprised you didn't mention on of the neat features; the follower slide has an extension that covers the loading port when it's all the way back up, so there's no chance of rounds accidentally falling out.
Yeah I thought so too! Has the look of the round magazine nob and the slanted grip angle. Pretty sick looking design they got going with these new rival series. 👍🏻
I ordered 4 of these and 4 pathfinders for my indoor nerf arena business. Love both of them. Ordering 4 more Pathfinders, I prefer those the most, maybe the best rival blasters every made in my opinion
I went from 90s Nerf guns to the Elite Recon to Rival Perses and Roundhouse... Idk how anyone complains about power and speed all these new guns are INSANE...
A couple years out; the Fate is definitely my favorite of the initial three. Ergonomics wise, it’s perfect for me, and the stock performance is awesome. When I play in an arena, I almost always pick the Fate.
Considering that Nerf were pretty much the pioneers of modern foam dart/ball blasters, and Zuru have been imitating Nerf for years, I think we can let Hasbro off this time. Besides, the much older Nerf Sideswipe and Flex were a similar, if somewhat curvier design.
Of course, if you look at it logically, the design isn't that much different to the much older Sideswipe and it's smaller sibling. They all have sharply angled magazines in front of the grip. Typically, it's Zuru X-Shot that copies Hasbro Nerf, who have been making blasters and coming up with new ideas for a far longer period than Zuru.
I think this blaster would be great if it had a Spectre-like prime. The Nitefinder-style prime would be OK if it had a spring return, or it just stuck out, though.
I love this on sound alone, the looks are already making this S tier but the sound is so satisfying. I was comparing it to the Curved Rival and that is a nightmare compared to Vision
I'm very much looking forward to a hopefully exhaustive video looking at the new vs old ammo. Put a few hundred rounds of each through a somehow firmly held in place Perses to be able to see a broader pattern. Do the same with a Hades (to see Springer vs Flywheeler, saying Hades just cause it's super high capacity for easier testing). Test from 15 feet, 30 feet, 40 feet, etc. Maybe even try hooking a fan up to blow from the side between the blaster and the target if you want to test wind. I really want to know if I should be looking to get new rounds into my college HvZ pool, or if I am going to not care.
