As an art fan I totally appreciate what the Try channel has done to enable the release of so much creativity.
In Texas, we have long horns that are painted everywhere throughout the state so each one is different from the others. Beautiful and hope you get to paint some more things around Dublin...
Out here in NE Colorado we have "Quilt Squares" painted on all the barns, old Russian-German tradition ig.
Wonderful Nicole.... good job.
White...a blank page or canvas....so many possibilities! You are a lovely artist Nicole!
WOW! I was in Dublin last year, lovely place.
From Toronto, the Good, the town that fun forgot, until the Italians brought their wine and the Jamaicans brought their music.
OMG Nicole that was beautiful.. not just the AWESOME job you did on the box but the way you told the story and i actually teared up but in a good way..you touched my heart
I felt the love that you had put into creating "THE BOX". It was awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
When I am in Dublin again I will look for this box just to photograph it. It looks awesome
Great to see the process of The Box! I hope you upload more works. Greetings from Chile! And you look beautiful without makeup
It's wonderful!
That was amazing, thank you for sharing Nicole! 😍🙌🏾
I tried to comment earlier and the comments were turned off. I am glad they are on now because I wanted to let you know how great your project is and how much I enjoyed the video.
I love your design on the box you have an interesting eye.... as an American who takes or has no sense of pride in the city i lives in. I love the reverence you have for where you live in the culture you have. It is something to Aspire to
She uploaded! And a magical little upload at that. I hope to visit Dublin someday. What a vibrant city from what I can tell.
You really are a caring, loving lady. I love how you love your community.
This was an uplifting video and this beautiful work that you have done breathes living truth into the concept of the urban fabric as a reflection of its inhabitants.
I love it. I want one!
Ideally , you should sand and give metal a primer cost, but that's not really necessary, but makes the paint more durable. Here, you see a lot of those stainless steel traffic light control boxes painted...it definitely adds character to a place....
I'm glad that I got into art before digital art came about. Even though I'm a digital artist now I still have the experience and can work in physical mediums.
Im interested in going the opposite direction, all I know is Ink and Aerosol but I'd like to get into digital art. My experience goes about as far as MS paint lol
Very cool! I love the design!
Very nice Nicole! You left your mark on Dublin.
I didn’t know you were an artist Nicole...
Your box turned out absolutely amazing! If I was in Ireland and in Dublin I would seek it out. I hope in the future you will share more of your art.
I love your design. It's kind of a mind twister for me. I get old 3D glasses flashbacks.
This is so cool. More cities and towns need to do things like this. Our concrete worlds are far too boring.
I lived near the cities that have done this.
La Crosse Wisconsin and Winona Minnesota had painted blue heron art birds scattered around them.
Eau Claire Wisconsin had paintings of the Mona Lisa painted in odd places on buildings in downtown.
I never did see all of the stuff in these places but it made trips in them more fun when you would stumble across one.
I remember Pohang, Korea added things like this in some places. It does seem to help a lot for the culture and the people.
Well Done Nicole!!!! You seem to have talents the Try Channel hasn't discovered yet. I hope someone other than a poor boy like me finds them and helps to promote your talents to a wider audience. Your a treasure!!!
That’s fantastic !! Great job. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊👍🏻
Great job. And great video. Thank you.
Nicole, I loved watching this! Thanks for sharing it with the world. 🙂❤️
a true Child of Light, love you Nicole
Awesome. So very awesome
Cool, nice work, and it's so dope being part of a community and taking part in one too.
I love the piece! My city's idea of public art is mostly large lumps of bronze in public squares. Anything can be a "canvas" and there is a thriving arts community now that is putting art as an everyday experience.
Your piece reminds me of printing "errors" in old comic books when different plates (for each colour) were not lined up exactly. So it also makes me think of Roy Lichtenstein.
This is very nice!
you are amazing!
I love this!
I've seen you on the Try and Facts channels, but I'd never seen this side of you until now. I really like watching you work and hearing you talk about the artistic process. More, please!
That was cool Nicole... Its different, it is cool to see an artistic difference on a box like that.
Nicely done, both the concept, execution and the video itself. The music was a really good choice too. :)
Very cool looking . great job , amazing
That's a brilliant piece Nicole. You left a part of yourself there. Looked like fun too...thanks for shari g!😄
Wow, fantastic!! Love listening to you talk about your art and home. Thanks for sharing. Loved the box you did, so talented.
Excellent video by a beautiful woman. Now I have to visit Dublin and see this box in RL
Love it!
Really nice! Good for you!
Nicole, your box is very lovely.
Love it...
The zoo I used to live in wanted a new penguin habitat so people painted penguins it was really cool they're up in different places and you know they're nice to see so I like your box if I were walking past it everyday I'd be like there's the box and it make me smile
Awesome!💕
Love this video! Love the rationale and end result too! :)
Nicole it's nice To see you are proud of will you come from
Yay!
It's as beautiful as you are Nicole. In Mind, body and soul. That's you on the box for all to admire. Well done my dear.
I like it, hi from Australia Nicole :)
Very cool. Great job
I love your box good job
I bet that would look crazy with red blue 3D glasses on
That’s so awesome!
Very nice!
Remarkable.
Really lovely Nicole! See you on TRY! ❤️
Good on you!
Well done.
This is great! I wish there were things like this in my neighborhood in Chicago.
I bet there's great art in your neighborhood, but if your ignoring art crimes you might be missing it.
Talented Beauty !
I wish I could travel and see this with my own eyes!
5:05 Nicole, that's beautiful.
I envy you. I live on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, the US, and as time goes by, I find myself ever more out of place. I've actually been looking at moving to another country the last few years.
"I am from Dublin. My parents are from Dublin. My grandparents are from Dublin. I have lived in Dublin my entire life."
Goodness. Sounds like quite a city, then.
I could say the same thing about Fort Morgan Colorado, its a hole 🤣
TBH, when it comes to art in the city I dont usually pay attention to what you might call "permission art" or "things that aren't technically a crime" but this is actually pretty dam cool, its unique and simple but with a...signature flare I guess. I dont know anyone out your way but if you feel it maybe track down some Dublin Graffiti writers and see if someone would be interested in a collaboration. I think your graffic design driven style would mesh really cool with a writer who has a "quick n' dirty" street style.
Amazing! You're an artist! A very good one. I just thought you were the best tour guide in the world in Dublin north and south Thanks, Nicole. Where can we go online to see your artwork?💚
Just to let you know, I sent you a package via Try, hope you enjoy it and let me know if you got it. My luck with international mail has been spotty and sorry about the hand writing on the note included, myu printer was down and I have carpel tunnel. Enjoy. Hint: SN & LB
Really cool! So did you do another box with a more organic style? and if yes, where can I see it....if no...what are you waiting for?! :) I'm looking forward to more of your videos! that was really fun! thanks :)
You are so cool
Gah, this is so relaxing....
My first thought was "The Box" by Orbital.
Hmmmm I have to wonder what the 3rd one would look like...combined with the first and second..naturally/graphical design and twice as much space as would be needed 🇮🇪💯👍🌺🦋⭐
Hey, I’m an internet friend (with all the privileges and responsibilities that may be applicable.). Cool dots!
"Do you like Dublin?" "I don't know, I've never dubbled!" :D
Can you please tell me where you got the purple rain tee shirt you wore on the try channel?
You do great videos all the way from back when you were on Facts channel. Glad you still do Try channel videos too.
I just discovered your "You" channel. Please keep on posting videos. possibly more videos? More often?
I subscribed and rang your bell.
Y did U leave part of the box unpainted my guess is to draw the eye to the art job well done
Where is Nicole? 😔
I love your box! 😁
Watch out for the welps. Ya don’t want to get aggro.
you'd get arrested for vandalism here doing that.
Do you ever reach that point where you start to think "I wish this was just done! I'm so sick of it already" Or is that just me.
Art is "being done with it" - I've been told - my "art" is doing stuff that feeds.
Absolutely, ive takin multi year long breaks from painting but I always come back.
If you had red hair you'd look like roweena in supernatural.
Where is that pretty face and great personality at where have you gone??? 😔
Is it me or does Nicole resemble Marilyn Monroe ????
Nicole, my apologies if I offended. I wish everyone all the best, and the best in life. The art looks really good, and if that's what you want to do with your life, then by all means.
Again, all apologies. Be well!
Love it!
Well done.
