Solid info! 6 hours into the fight and still no win 😂 its this bit at 5:12 where he's attacking u with the golden shower and the sword beam attack at the same time that alwatgs nails me!
Yeah, that one takes some getting used to for dodging it just right. Bloodhound step was way too easy to abuse earlier on to more easily avoid attacks like that, but may still be worth considering even after the nerf they did to it if you're stuck on it
Thank you! Finally beat the damn boss using your build
Thanks! Glad to hear it helped 👍
For the start of the Radagon fight, Radagon has to turn around before being able to attack. Use that time to summon Tiche, then strafe around Radagon while keeping your distance. Usually, Tiche will almost always shoot off something to Radagon before he attacks, which will draw his attention to her. Then you have a nice opening to use Ranni's Dark Moon.
Also, if you like using shields with the staff, I'd recommend using the Scholar's Shield spell before entering the fight. That spell seems really effective against almost all of Radagon's attacks. The only downside is that Scholar's Shield heavily nerfs the mimic tear, if you plan to use it. The mimic will spend so much time trying to cast it that Radagon will easily punish it.
Here’s the strat as soon as you spawn in summon black knife guy and the while the boss is distracted throw the rannis moon spell at them then just try your best to spam with comet azur
after watchine 3 failed vioes; your video showed me to use the DEFENSE talisman. that changed things. beat the boss on my 4th attempt after. THANK YOU SIR.
Glad it helped! But yeah, definitely got to use different talismans than usual with how much of a marathon this fight can be.
Can't wait until some DLC drop for Elden Ring. Got the official printed walkthrough guide and everything now so I'll be ready to make some more videos like this once it comes out too!
Forgot to comment , but this worked on my second try . Blood hound step and moonblade vs Elden beast is the way .
Thanks king
Hey Cowboy I just completed and beat ER today. I played my first Souls game, Dark Souls 3, in late 2016 on my own and shortly after that with your DS3 guide. My PC's hard drive crashed a few years later after NG+ on that series so I would have to replay DS3 again but will instead wait for the ER DLC. Picked up Elden Ring on release but struggled on that first Tree Sentinel and gave up. I did not play again until March 2024 as the ER DLC was being hyped and just completed it with your guide in May. Excellent work and it kept me going after wanting to give up a few times. Played as a Mage (Intelligence/Faith) and struggled with Rennala and almost gave up again on that boss. But persevered and "got gud" enough to beat Malenia on the first try, struggled with the Elden Beast, but beat it after about 10 tries. An excellent walkthrough guide as you cover every dungeon and item, even those that seem insignificant for my mage build. Can't wait to follow your DLC guide after I do a first playthrough of it on my own when it comes out in June.
Did I say fire giant was a hard boss
Malenia still takes the cake for me with how hard it is to time dodging her attacks, Radagon + the Elden Beast is definitely a marathon of a fight though lol
@@GuitarNerdist-Solverne as mage atleast, maliketh gave me the most trouble. Don’t know why, but he takes the cake
@@garrettsmith9825 u just deleted him with the kamehameha and rock sling
Fire giant took me like 20 tries as a mage
@@mushrooka 5 for me
You didn't use night comet on radagon? Can knock him down in half before he even turns his attention towards you.
That's not a bad idea at all, Night comet would probably make this fight a little easier. Probably worth trading it out with adula's moonblade, especially if you prefer to keep your distance.
@guitarnerdist isk. I still haven't killed elden beast with my mage build so could easily be something I'm missing. After killing Melania with her I've accepted I will prolly use night comet on any boss I come across with that build lol.
@@mackenziepenny1335 Using more defensive talismams was definitely a game changer for me for Radagon's fight given how much of a marathon it is. Buffs can be helpful of course too, and he's most weak to fire damage though I know that's more of a limitation with INT builds.
@guitarnerdist radagan was a walk in the park for me, let tiche distract him and start pelting him with night comet. It's the second half with the elden beast I can't seem to pull off. And that build has literally killed all other bosses lol. First time through I was doing a melee bleed build and had minor difficulty first 5 times and then had it. Whoever called sorcery easy mode needs to come say that to my face. Lol
@@mackenziepenny1335 yep, can't comet azure out of this one lol they're immune to bleed too, but might be worthwhile trying the Haligdrake Talisman +2 talisman for holy damage negation. Definitely helps alot with the elden beast
I keep seeing these videos where the Elden Beast just stays in the same area forever. I know OP said he cut footage but that last bit was longer than I've ever had em in one place after like 40 attempts. He never seems to stay in one place for more than 2 different attacks. It's driving me insane.
He does move around way too much sometimes lol spend all that time getting there to hit him 1 time just for him to move to the other side of the arena lol
Yup.
A huge part of EBs fight is based on RNG.
Supper annoying😅

Tiche actually got nerfed recently btw
She still pretty good but to me it looks like she had an ai nerf and doesnt do her special move as much for me
The star shower attack kills me every time why did they have to make it so infuriating hard for. Close range attacks kill me he doesnt stand facing forward too long and Im always getting killed. I have tried all different setups still dont work. This is my first time playing this sort of game. I prefer finalfantasy 16 than this.
Definitely takes some getting use to, especially with learning how to dodge different attacks in different ways. Some attacks like that may be better to just outrun vs. dodge rolling, but I sometimes take small breaks at least when I'm on a bad streak and find that it helps typically.
I've been stuck on the elden beast portion for weeks. Maybe months. 140 hours in and been here since at least 110. Gettin one shotted constantly. This isn't even fun anymore. Lvl 210 and still seems like I need another 100 levels minimum
It is definitely a long fight to get through too. If you're getting one-shotted still though then having more points in vigor or endurance for stronger armor might help too.
But regardless of which build you end up going with for the fight I'd still recommend using the Crimson Seed Talismon to get the most usage out of your healing flasks to help survive the entire fight.
I didn't mend the elden ring lmao ahahaha
Great video. First person to comment on the video from the reddit post.
lol could of died 10 times easy. rng
