The swarm of F35's would without a shadow of doubt clean up on the very few SU57's that they have for certain... let alone any raptors being involved.
F35 is an engineering Marvel of unique technology. I wonder if there were some reverse engineer technology been used in its design.
This plane shouldn't replace the A10 Warthog. The A10 is one hell of a ground support aircraft. Replacing it would be a BIG loss. Let the F35 do its stealth thing. The A10 doesn't need it and is probably cheaper to build.

The SU-57 isn't a 5th Gen Fighter, everyone has been talking about it's design flaws, infact there are too many screws on the aircraft that can be detectable by Radar and its engines are based on the Su-35. It also costs more to build as Russia lacks the technology to make proper Next generation fighters.
The newest F-35s have a completely new internal structure not even close to the original structure. Its a much better and different aircraft. It's really a very advanced force that is really magical for the pilots to do maneuvering that can't be done with the original aircraft without tearing it apart and falling from the sky .

I think that is the unsung hero of this comparison. There hasn't been a fighter this mass produced since the propeller planes of WW2. Add to this the fact the F-35 can be exported to friendly nations, it significantly lowers production and maintenance costs while increasing spare part availability.

I'd like to know where that 3 dozen figure came from? I tried to get an accurate figure for how many SU-57'S there are and the best I could find was 15 max, with 9 operational, 8 after the 1 Ukraine hit.

The way that it was destroyed has nothing to do with its combat effectiveness and you can be lucky and hit some of these aircraft in the way that this one was taken out. Even the F-22 the b21 anything that you want to name can be neutralized on the ground and even in the air in the military they have a saying sometimes you just get lucky.

The USAF F22 is the best Fighter Aircraft in the world. And so it’s been painstakingly copied by our rivals. It’s not for sale like the others are. In actual simulated combat it’s downed several F15’s by itself. The F35 has multi purposes whereas the F22 is primarily a Fighter.

All the posted UA-cam videos by weapons experts or fighter jet pilots seem to indicate to me, that F15EX, F22, F35 and the soon NGAD, 6th generation, all can defeat Sukhoi 57 easily, or even drones, fact is so long as fitted with the longest range air-to air missiles, it is all invisible range anyway. No dog fights needed, in real dog fight, it is completely different.

Propaganda, as a Senator calls the F-35, the most expensive paper weight made with 60% are not combat capable. The F-35 is the most hyped and least capable aircraft when compared to other aircraft. The main thing they say well its stealth, so what, its what it can do and be combat ready to do it that counts. If you want a real match up then have a SU-57 and F-22 doing combat. Mostly it will be the pilot as the deciding factor but if both the same it will tilt to the SU-57. Both have vector nozzles but the SU-57 is 360 degree while the F-2 only goes up and down. That give the nod to the SU-57 as more maneuverable. Both have excellent missiles but Russian missiles have longer range, again a nod to the SU-57. Some will say that the F-22 has better electronics, maybe but Russia has been upgrading the SU-57 all the time so it might not be that much of a difference!
