Just got this camera, it's amazing. Excellent battery, microphone, and both screens are touchscreen. If you're wondering if you'd get the hero 12 or the action 4, I'd say get the hero 12 for quality during the daytime and the action 4 for excellent quality during lowlight. If you won't be using 5.3k all the time and 4k resolution is good enough then I'd say get the action 4 hands down.
@@WillyD1 the batteries is compatible with action 4, it's the exact same model. Only the lens has different thread diameter so your action 3 nd filters won't fit with your action 4.
This is absolutely true as DJI no longer hosts their apps on the play store. Pretty easy to install the app though, the camera upon boot will display a qr code that will take you to the download link. Just make sure you have enough available space on your phone as it is a pretty hefty app size.

The action 4 is only a very slight improvement from the action 3. For a 100$ difference. Your better off with the action 3, you won't even notice the difference
The only problem with these cameras is you can’t zoom very far with them, which means you will never be able to get a moonshot with this camera or any camera that GoPro releases because they’re too stubborn to put more than one camera on the device. You have to use a separate App to zoom in as far as you want to or you have to buy a lens thing to go over the camera lens in order to maybe zoom in a little bit but besides that GoPro hasn’t released anything with more than one camera neither has any camera company like this where if Apple did release their own camera, it would be better than any GoPro or DJI camera ever because it will never get two or more lenses so then you can zoom in which is a shame because it could honestly be better than a phone camera especially the Samsung and iPhones because it’s not using AI with Samsung phones or crappy digital zoom with iPhones but All I know is I can take better photos with my iPhone of the moon and other people can with their Samsung phones and that’s great and all but at least the iPhone can do better shots of the moon than the GoPro is it only zooms into 1.4 X zoom Which is terrible if you’re trying to take a picture of the sun or the moon I’ll stick with my iPhone and tell maybe by 2030 GoPro and DJ I can get this fixed and actually have two or three cameras on their devices so we can take pictures of the moon and videos of the moon with two or three or even four cameras in the future but I highly doubt that’s happening. It’s funny how a lot of cameras will have 16 cameras like the L 16 light 16 I know it’s not the best camera. But it has 16 cameras and can actually zoom in. It runs on android, and you can zoom in on the screen. It’s not the best quality, but at least you can do it rather than on a GoPro or DJI because they only have one camera we have the technology we have it in our phones they can find a way to put it on a GoPro or DJI camera. It shouldn’t be that hard it’s 2024 and go pros and DJI still have One camera. What a joke.

@@dfaro8453 I've got a 600MB internet broadband, yet mostly apps on TV will always load etc. We have great devices, yet not optimised for 4k even when they should support it. :)
Any non360 Action cameras are way overpriced ! Why I’m gonna pay $400 for dji for what ! But if you get 360 camera I don’t say anything because it’s worth the price

Hands down better than GoPro 11. I just got my Dji Osmo 4 and love it. Super easy to use and move around, and the quality is amazing

DJI Action 4 without a doubt as it does not overheat and shut down. It is able to record video up to 51mins until the battery drains out

I love those features but GoPro shoots 5K and I like anything over 4K quality personally
nobody cares about 5k at all, Nobody consumes a 5k video on their, phone/TV/Tablet as the devices don't even support it :)

5k is nice, especially for serious creators in post production to have the ability to crop videos to 4k without losing any resolution.
And don't forget overheating in your go pro
