Question - Does the OA-16 magnetic door work with the Action 4? You say it does, but other reviewers are highlighting it doesn't - i've emailed Ulanzi but you might want to amend the video if not?
Question - I ordered (received) the metal battery replacement door (Item OA -16) for the Action 4. I found that it would NOT connect at the bottom latch - the hinge end would fit in but the other attachment point would not latch (the clip at end appears to long to fit into Action 4 groove. Am I missing something? Thank you

Why would someone not want the protective plastic case? I am sure 1% of people would however claiming the best $20 you would spend on that action camera to everyone watching the video sounds dumbfounded.

Does the battery door replacement actually fit the model 4? The main listing from Ulanzi seems to imply it only is compatible with the 3, and the Amazon reviews confirm this. Thanks for the great content!
The battery door fits my Action 4 - see the included b-roll in the video. One thing to note though is that the camera loses waterproofing when it’s attached.
I picked up the door accessory but unfortunately it won't latch on my OA4. The top "lip" indent on the camera doesn't go full width, but the door accessory assumes it does. So it won't latch at the top. I may try modifying the door by making the latch lip smaller to fit in the camera body groove. 😢
I really like that replacement door, that eliminated the need for the plastic cage for vertical shooting. Great accessory list, and thanks for sharing.

Good suggesting with ONE exception; The Ulanzi replace door, Ulanzi OA-16, does NOT fit on the Osmo Action 4. I know, because I have both Osmos #3 and #4. The door only fits the #3 because the inset on the 3 & 4 are different. I don't know how you're making that door fit on the Osmo Action 4 - please elaborate. Thank you!
There is another video a guy made on this how hers in the video is different than the one he received. He grabbed a screen shot and compared. The screws are different and the latches are different. I wonder if she was sent that product directly
I am considering the DJI cameras. Why? 1. I bought two GoPro Hero 7 blacks in 2019. One doesn't work anymore & the other one is extremely unreliable 2. I bought two GoPro Hero 8's in 2022. One now consistently cycles on and off The second one turns off within 15 seconds . Neither one is usable anymore 3. I bought a 3rd GoPro Hero 8 in 2023. It now turns off within seconds after I push the on button it is not usable either 4. All five of these GoPro have had issues with heat, inconsistent recording, & corrupting files. 5. There is always a daily frustrating issues every time I use the GoPros 2 Questions about the DJI camera 1. I like using external battery banks. Can an external battery be connected to the DJI camera 2. I like that I could turn the GoPro on and off on my iPhone with an app. Can this be done with the DJI camera?

Why did they provide the plastic frame for the camera? it is useless it have no mount for wireless microphone so i wondering why they have not that do you have any idea?

Ulanzi have confirmed that the OA-16 door in ONLY for the Action 3 and NOT 4 - They have now amended the website

The door can be removed! It’s tough to do though, and I have accidentally broken the door doing it.
