4:25 when cutting a bolt or stud, thread a (sacrificial) nut on it first. Once you're done cutting, backing off that nut will repair the threads. It will be a lot easier than trying to start a die, and you won't accidentally misalign the threads.
compact and clean, eternal line, from a motorsport point of view a masterpiece already from stock, with small adjustments it gives some trouble to more famous cars, driving it is as fun as a go kart what more could you want after more than 35 years? 🤷😎
The offset of +30 and the 205/50 tires. I don't even want to be anywhere close to my original painted OEM fenders and possibly catch an edge and bend one.
@@GarageBuiltHondas ohh OK I didn't know you were concerned about the fenders rubbing , I thought you ment the caliper rubbing , yea keep those fenders in good condition
@GarageBuiltHondas that sounds awesome , I'm planning on moving to Texas and that's great news to know , my 2 CRX are definitely over 25 years and my subie on needs a little less than 2 years to be over 25 , also what's the emissions test like out in Texas? Is it a tail pipe test or something like no modifications or something along the lines of you still have all the oem emissions equipment?
@@GarageBuiltHondas just picked up a non running 1989 Dx sedan the guy said it probably needs a fuel pump. I turned the key on but don’t hear the fuel pump come on and the check engine light stays on. He plugged in some aftermarket engine relay. I’m still trying to confirm if it even has spark at the plugs but I need someone to crank it over for me so I’m waiting on that. Any advice would be appreciated and thanks for getting back to me.👍🏽
If the relay clicks on and off with the engine light it more than likely works. If you can hear the pump prime it may be out. Check out this video for some tips too. ua-cam.com/video/i9t9OapKffg/v-deo.htmlsi=gTFR0iuJn_UKgtb0
Yes like the others said the car deserves a clean bay and seal/bearings refresher. It’s clean and nice body! I love it.

That's a great idea!
If they ever sell the house next to you hit me up 😅
Lol for sure!
I'm digging the color wheels with the yellow I do like the little deeper dish on the rims overall looks beautiful👍
Nothing nothing looks better on a honda then mugen wheels!!!
CRX looking and sounding PERFECT!!!!!!!
Awesome exhaust sound...wheels are smokin'!
I used to have a tanabe racing medallion..thing was rowdy on a d16y8 with headers...sounded real good when we added a turbo.
They make a great exhaust/muffler! I've been happy with the 2 I've owned.
That exhaust has a nice note. Sweet ride.
Appreciate it, thanks!
I really like the wheels, the crx looks awesome
Thanks 👍
Such a clean 90s/early 2k look. Nothing like having a clean daily back in the day. The styling nowadays can be too much at times.
That sounds AMAZING! Cannot wait to get to the point where I can install my newish to me exhaust. 😂
Can't wait!
Period correct wheels not my most favorite look but definitely fits the CrX well
CrX deserves a full engine detail
Agree man. Need to get to it
Thanks for sharing. Good hearing from you. Nice work
Thanks!!
Videos are always fire 🔥
Sounds wicked 🔥
I like it. Hella flush look too.
It looks really good Jon!
Thanks man, where you been?
Stock wheels do fit the ex brakes. I've run that setup on my 89 si.
Awesome, thanks for that info!
Blox with Weds in front. Enkei in rear.

Right on, I couldn't agree more!
Where does everyone get their headlights from ? 89 crx has severe oxidation inside the headlight
I liked the way the blox looked with the enkei up front , what were your concerns? If they aren't rubbing then what could go wrong?
Also you don't need a cat in Texas?

In Texas for cars 25 or more years old (classic autos), it's only safety, not emissions testing.

i probably would of put a lug nut on prior to cutting it so you can level them out.
I measured first and drew a small line on them with a permanent marker. Hard to see but that's what I used as my guide.
Damn you said you are going to cut off the studs because you will never run a spacer then you had to run spacers😏
🔥🔥🔥
How much for the weds😂
Lol. If you're serious I'd be willing. There aren't tires though
Hello, do you have an instagram or a way to communicate? Facebook messenger?
Thx
What do you need? I can help here too
