Came for the brakes and was pleasantly surprised by the new wheels and turn signals. Both look sick! Now we need an update video on brake/tire performance. A couple of pictures wouldn't hurt either 😉

Upgrading my bug to have rear disc's saved my life many years ago.
I still remember the guy's look of terror in the rear view mirror sitting at road works as I came round the bend at high speed and slammed on the anchors.
Brakes are often over looked! People always want to go fast but dont think about stopping fast

Those wheels look really nice, especially with the red caliper. I realize that wheels are very personal choice but so many people mess up when they choose them! Not you! loved the video.

Plenty more stuff to do on it... The muffler recently broke in two so i have to fix that now.i dont even drive it and its breaking down 😂

The brakes work amazing! It feels like a completely different car while stopping. If i didnt have these sticky tires on it im sure it would constantly lock up the wheels , instead it grips and stops hard! Love it

I only use my 4k sony A6400 for the CRX videos or videos i spend more time editing. The only thing different in this video i stopped using auto focus and i manually focused on everything i want to which i think makes the video look better because its always in focus. Some people complained about my auto focus jumping around before

😂i always forget about the crows foot. There was no stated torque for the brake line. Just having some fun with the video editing

the turn signal idea is good but poor execution . The upgrade turn light is very dull . There are flush mounted lights on the market

I didnt make a video on it. I actually like the masterforce box better than the Milwaukee box. It just seems more solid and seems to work better

did the original wheels not fit after the brake upgrade? (just checking because I have 14" HX rims and I'm planning a similar brake upgrade)
Yes my stock wheels didn't fit over the brakes that's why I had to buy a set of new wheels

These are 15s and there's plenty of clearance. I'm not sure if 14s clear the BBK but my stock crx wheels were 13s and they definitely didn't clear

That's what's up! The rotors size and pad size difference are massive! I can notice a difference
@@themechanic6117 hoping so im going from something stupid like 9 inch rotors to 11.5 inch rotors should just about fit underneath my 15inch wheel setup
Same here, i went from 9 inch rotors to 11 and theres still some clearance in these 15 inch wheels so i think 11.5 rotors will clear a 15 in wheel

Probably not. My factory wheels were 13s and they didn't clear

I was worried about clearance also. The stock 13 in wheels definitely didn't clear but the new wheels have plenty of clearance 👍

Smaller than 242... 242 is about 9.5 inches. My crx had 9 in rotors. The wilwood kit is 11 inches

Oem rotor size for the HF model is 9 inch rotor
@@themechanic6117 thanks man ..and the wilwood kit is a direct bolt on ? I only could find kits that bolts on to 242mm rotors.
Yes this specific wildwood kit only fits the smaller hubs (9inch rotor) , the kit bumps the rotor size up to 11 inches. If you have the big hub (civic /integra) then you need the wildwood 12.19 dynalite kit.

The 11 inch kit like I have is for the smaller hubs is called wilwood dynalite 11" (140-8695) . The kit for cars with the bigger hubs need wilwood dynalite 12.19 (140-6310)
It concerns me that you spent so much on a great set of brakes and it was missing parts and in standard sizes. Nothing is ever easy for you lol
😂just my luck lol ... Honestly, who uses standard size fittings anymore??
Next time don't use that crap wildwood break line kit. Use Goosdridge pn# 950-40000......oh and one more thing. You can't use stock 13" steel wheels with that kit. Steel 14"s with spacers possibly
