@@davidlosangeles314 The notch is basically a pointless upgrade. All you're getting from 12 mini to 13 mini is better battery life. No other improvements are noticeable.
Yeah I've been hanging onto a Pixel 4a and a Pixel 3 is the last small phones I really own. I don't know what I'm going to do when they break. iPhone mini is not going to work because I need browsers with the desktop extensions and revanced and stuff and iPhones just won't let me use that s***.
I use an iPhone 13 mini and a Moto g54 5G. For browser extensions I use Orion Browser and watch UA-cam solely on the browser. One feature I missed was the data usage cap.
@@michaelcorcoran8768 When mine broke I really thought i wouldnt find any good replacement but it turns out that after about a week of using a big phone i just got used to it and actually prefer it since now a small phone feels just way too small. You will get used to it.
An argument could be made for AW ultra, though imo, its a good smart watch but terrible excerise watch. Garmin wins hands down in that department. So garmin watch, iphone mini, perfect combo for training and safety.
@@WillUlt1mate11 yup! It’ll be a sad day when they stop getting updates. Hopefully a couple more years at least. I wish Apple kept it going with “normal” size phones.

@@NJ-qx3vb that is a very interesting question! You have to be a dedicated, near crazed, fan of small phones to warrant going with a 3 year old phone. I’m a fanatic and I wouldn’t have considered an iPhone without it being mini sized, and if my phone dies without a small one being available I’ll be forced back to android, even though I know its an inferior OS. You have to be quite firmly in that camp to consider a 3 year old phone. If you do get a second user 13 Mini you should get the battery replaced. My phone (2.5 years old) is at 80% capacity and it barely lasts the day. I’ll be getting it replaced at the Apple shop in the next few weeks. So budget for that too.
I remembered Apple dropped the iPhone Mini because it wasn't selling much and people prefer large screen phones. Now, Apple is also considering on dropping out the iPhone Plus because it isn't selling much. Maybe it really is about time to bring back the iPhone Mini. I know lots of people out there, including myself, who are still a huge sucker for compact flagship phones.
I'm still using a 12mini. I was a phablet user since the nexus 5, all the way through to the pixel 3. But the family is in the Apple ecosystem, the continuity stuff is nice, and once I dropped a 12 mini in my pocket (as opposed to forcing it down, straining the fabric of my pants) I was sold. When my phone was my only computing device, I felt that a large screen was very much justified. But having a couple iPads and a MacBook kicking around, it's nice having a phone that's kinda "just a phone" even though it can and does do quite a bit more than that on a daily basis.
I don't even remember an iphone mini. The part where you are trying to hold it without a case reminded me of those infomercials where some overly inept person can't do something easily until they buy whatever product the infomercial is selling and then suddenly their life is so much better.
iPhone 12-13 mini is love at first sight! I can't go back to 60Hz but other than that the minis are a joy to have! Speed, screen, cameras are all great and if you use your phone like a phone and not like a Nintendo Switch the battery is not a problem at all.
All this is about the marketing. I have a 12 mini. And it’s just fine. I hate that these phones are getting bigger and bigger. Get a bloody iPad if you want a big phone. I want something I can put in my pocket.

My first foray into iPhone land after being an android guy since the beginning was an 15 Pro. Too much iPhone for me and wasn’t using it to its full potential. So I switched to a 13 Mini and have loved it ever since
Exact same situation as me. It’s good that I still have my 15 Pro in a drawer as future proof insurance. When the 13 Mini no longer gets updated I’ll switch to the 15 Pro and I’ll have the AI experience and they’ll probably tell me that it looks so small because in a few years iPhones will be 7.5 inches.
