BlInG Up that Old MILLING VICE

A complete restore of a 1970s Hercus Milling Vice.
These beasts are small but very well made and no longer available since the shut down of the machine factories from 1980s onwards.
I had a surprise visitor mid tear down that is always fun to discover:)

What a fine project! Any evidence whether the broken casting was from over-loading or being dropped?

I had a feeling it was slightly out of parallel, thats why I spent so much time bringing it back in. I could be wrong and we shall see in the future how she holds up. I was tossing up making a new one over brazing back together.If it does go pop, I will have another project:)
