Gasoline (white gas, not meant for car gas) burning stoves have been around for hiking and camping for decades. Coleman has a whole range of nice ones. Lamps with gas mantle can also run on it.
Thank you for sharing this Wonderful ❤️ Video. The 20's and the 30's new things that most of us even in today's world makes us Obsolete. In alot of things they were ahead of even their times, with all their sleek designs and the way they made things to last.
Man you nailed this one. The video editing, the close ups, and the amazing job you did with this. Well done. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire episode. I'm also hungry now too lol. Bravo sir
I always put your videos aside to watch them later, because in my eyes they essentially are just WORKS OF ART! I‘ve mentioned all the reasons why I think this way before and you didn‘t disappoint again! Thanks for putting all the effort into not just restoring some old stuff, but telling a litte story every time.
Quelle belle video !
The stove itself is a work of art and you are definitely a master craftsman to bring it back to its original finish maybe even better. I love that you used it to showcase its wonderful working order. Thank you very much for sharing.
I love how you restore these old items, so they shine like they're brand new. it's makes me look at other so-called restorations that are just cleaned and described as having "patina" as just being too lazy to fully restore things. WELL DONE.., and your cooking looked amazing 😎
Your beautiful restoration process is one thing but to see one of these simple, completely functional things being used adds so much more. Just as well I have finished lunch but, unfortunately, I didn't have any of that delicious bread! 😊
great job, with great attention to detail. The stove has never looked as good as it does now, and the fact that you can actually prepare food outdoors makes the video recommendable. Kind regards
I'm wondering if that's why the stove was never used, why the price tag was still attached. Maybe whoever bought it got called up and never made it home, and nobody realized the item was even in the barn until years later.
❤ ONE OF THE BEST RESTORATION. This is one of the best original restoration of an antique product I have ever come across on UA-cam. Thanks for an excellent, neat job and a well-done restoration on this vintage stove. I love it. Cheers.
I would like to buy one of these stoves new today. Beautiful, efficient, and obviously built to last. I think they would be very popular with people who camp, own a cabin, or as part of a grilling area at home.
Very beautiful antique stove, but now I think looks better than when it was released from the factory! And that knife man, I definetly need one for my outdoor trips. Keep up the good work!
👌Bravo ! Magnifique restauration. On m’a donné faim merci.😂😉
I Stumbled across your videos by accident and I'm glad I did! the level of care you Take to restore these items is astounding. Great attention to detail as well! Will always be waiting for the next video!
Hey, i have thst HUUSK knife. They are awesome. I bought 4 and gave 3 to friends of mine as gifts. Believe me, theyre worth the money. They took about a month to get em.
Another Amazing Restoration! I've only watched 3 of your videos so far, but I think you're right up there among the Very Top Restoration Channels! Leave it to a Frenchman to go to the back country and then proceed to make cuisine that would make any chef proud!
Bravo! That was a wonderful restoration. Stunning stove, loved the brass and the high polish you gave it. How lucky are you tonhave found such a fantastic piece that had never been used.
Won't spoil the end but the product placement made me hungry.... And thanks for the discovery of this stove, it's very clever. We used to do some nice things in France, a century ago. (won't repeat myself about the camera work, even outdoor (oops, end half spoiled), it's very artistic...)
The framerate with the sandblasting at around 04:21 and onwards for some reason makes it look like it's all stopmotion, is it just me? Also, this burner is so cool. What I love about it is that it's basically two separate burners on a base, you can always just take one on a picnic. And seeing that it's unused completely? Woah.
Sticking with the French made theme which includes some brilliant products and restorations by you, how about a French fishing icon...a Mitchell spinning reel?
That’s a brilliant idea. I love fishing. I already have an old one lined up for restoration. Not a Mitchell tho... let me think about it... And thanks again !!!
If you do decide to go ahead with a reel restoration its only fitting (if being used in freshwater) to pair it up with an original French made Mepps Aglia lure maybe. Just a thought.
Yeah !! I have a couple of these vintage mepps !!! From my father 😇🙏 that’s smart thanks for the idea;) I’ll do a vid , definitely. There is a lake near my town with a lot of bass. I’ll go there. I just need to grab a vintage rod
I adore your videos, not just because of the brilliant filming which really shows people how you do things (and how to do them PROPERLY), but also the finished items are so beautiful. Not over restored (THANKYOU for that), but not shoddily done. They're truly beautiful, but also useful again too. I thought I'd subscribed, but hadn't. So now I definitely have AND hit the bell!
Amazing how good the condition was to start with, and to have the ability to bring life back to such an antique. If inanimate objects had lives, you would surely bring a smile back to the stove.
My friend Congrats ! your filming and editing is "A" class. and of course your work also. I know the time it takes hope it gets the views it deserves ! Best of luck !
This by far is nicer than any camp stove you can buy today. It's absolutely beautiful.
Thank you ! I still have it ;)

Thank you very much 🙏
This video is very enjoyable to watch..
Oh man. The 1920s and 30s were so ahead of not only their times but even our own.
"Insert bugs bunny saying no"
"Haha Fallout 4 is so exaggerated"
Now I'm starting to think that it wasn't, or at least to the extent I thought...

Bravo sir
Many thanks Frankie, most part of the job was cleaning ! I’ll keep that stove for sure !!
@@TheFabrik pls don’t leave it in the forest :(
I envy people who can restore such beautiful things from the past they were all so well made!!
Life was so simple during those days... Specially that era without plastic.. everything was made of glass and wood.
Thanks a lot Stefan for watching and comment ! You motivate me to do even better next time ! 🙌🙌🙌
Super restoration job. Like from India🇮🇳
Many thanks !

Sunday morning treat.. Watching you giving a new life to unloved beautiful objects. Heaven! Thank you
Thanks to you Isabelle for watching and commenting ! See you next sunday morning 😉
great job, with great attention to detail. The stove has never looked as good as it does now, and the fact that you can actually prepare food outdoors makes the video recommendable. Kind regards
Thank you so much Paul 😌🙌
Amazing. What a beautiful piece of equipment. And to think within a few years of this being made the world would go mad and come crashing down.
I'm wondering if that's why the stove was never used, why the price tag was still attached. Maybe whoever bought it got called up and never made it home, and nobody realized the item was even in the barn until years later.
@@Ea-Nasir_Copper_Co это вряд-ли.
1939, literally a year later.
@@probablynotdad6553 Is that not the date of manufacture, not of purchase?
I think the label shows 2.35F.

Beautiful restoration of the old stove ❤❤
Looks like a museum piece now.
Hi, a very well designed Cooking Stove, expertly restored to an amazing standard. Cheers, Paul.
Hi Paul, thanks again for watching and comment. Your supports are precious 🙌
What a gorgeous piece...before and after!
I'm engineering technologist, i enjoyed this fantastic restoration of 1930s stove, I'm sure in 1930s the non stick pans were not available.
Beautiful and unusual piece of gear brought back to life. Looks like it was a luxury item back in the days.
Wow it's amazing this stove portable never use for long time period. Glad it's back alive. I enjoying outdoor cooking. Thank you for sharing
