That is a lovely video. I want to thank Alvi's family for keeping him even though he was so difficult in the beginning, when he peed in the daughter's bed and scratched the father's hand so badly that he had to go to the hospital. Now see how lovely he has become! Thank you for all you have done for him!

@@Alvicatchannel I have the exact same ginger tabby he's named Bertie. All cats are beautiful in one way or another to thier owners. But I can say this there is somthing very special about ginger tabbys they really are a blessing my mum call him jantifrishta it means heavenly gift. Alvi is a fantastic addition to your family may he bring lot's of happiness and joy to your family as Bertie is bring to mine.
I have a feral cat that I look after that looks just like him. I feed him and look after him and he has finally let me Pat him. One day I hope he will come home with me

Cats take a lot of time to trust. I got my kitty as a kitten and she has taken 3 years to trust this much. She was never frightened but to trust enough to sleep on my chest and pet her tummy and kiss her on the head. Cats need be sure of their freedom and independence to get so close to you.

Just goes to show you that patience and love go a long way when adopting a new cat. Many people are quick to give up as soon as the scratch or pee.
When it taks a while then that's perfectly normal, particularly with traumatized cats.

Alvi and you look fantastic. Just found your channel so i started with the first video. I did not like cats 3 years ago until i met an old grey cat from the street. He took away all my stress and i have now 7 of them, all from the street. I am from Indonesia and if one day you come to Jakarta i will introduce them to you. I am so proud of a little girl like you taking care of her animal that way. You are a very responsible person and your parents can be proud. I wish Alvi and you many years of fun and happiness and lets ask more people to get cats from shelters. They deserve a home and people like you who care for them. My Ginger Bonnet died at 11 years of age exactly two months ago. Alvi cat reminds me so much of him. Thank you so much for these great videos. When I miss my cat I watch Alvi cat and feel more cheerful.

So cool. I adopted Mojito from a pet store that works with the local animal shelter. Funny thing, I asked the lady that runs the shelter to please put him on hold until I got my paycheck. He had been there for a month, and nobody wanted him. All of a sudden, four people tried to adopt him... He chose me, so I accepted that, and am grateful he owns me. Oh, hell, you own a cat? Other way around...
As soon as I saw Alvi in the shelter I knew I wanted to adopt him. Still I asked the shelter for24 hours time to think it over. Those were very long hours....
Damn, I even brought my daughter to see him after work. Same thing, patted her face, too. She said momma, he needs to be with us. Oh so glad he is here with us.
This is a fantastic biography of Alvi Cat! Your daughter did a great job of describing Alvi and telling the story of his life. I like how you included interviews with some of the workers at Poezenboot.
The music was also great - especially the dramatic music when Alvi is watching neighbor cats. Bravo!

My goodness does Alvi remind me of my Bullet. Just today he was standing on 2 legs and jumping as I brought food out to him on the porch. And he sleeps on my bed, and purrs for long amounts of time, and he's incredibly soft. I'm sorry you lost your Alvi, such a good kitty. I often say, cats should never die. In the good universe next door where everything is as it should be, cats are passed down from generation to generation and get godlike status. Though they'd better make sure to neuter them if they live forever.

I taught her from the very beginning cats are no dolls but individual souls who should be respected.
👏 There are much too many oh so "cute" videos of cats, dogs or even smaller animals being forcefully cuddled and kissed, even by adults.....always bothers me....just because some can't scream and are too nice to bite the ones nose off, doesn't mean they enjoy it....urgh.

He is adorable! I have an Orange cat who looks just like Alvi and I adopted him when he was 1 he is now 6. His name is Sherman and he acts just like a dog. He loves to cuddle and be carried everywhere!

A four month old orange shorthair stray followed us home. At first we weren’t sure we wanted to keep him so we let him stay in the yard and left him milk. We had a swing sofa on the back porch with a tarp over it and he made it his tent. Every morning I opened the screen door he would jump out demanding food. Some days later I was having lunch and he climbed up the screen door separating us. When he got to the top he spread eagled himself and starred at me like a Garfield window cling. I had to let him in.
We had 16 years together. I lost him 2 weeks ago and my very last claw scar is disappearing from my arm. The odd thing is what I miss most is worrying about him day and night and the relief of seeing him safe. Stay safe Alvi...

Thank you guys for the story of where Alvi came from. Since I found your channel and met Alvi, I have been wondering how he came to be your cat. The poezenboot is such a cool concept for a cat shelter. Your daughter is adorable and such a great presenter for Alvi’s story. I can’t hardly blame her for saying if he were a man she’d marry him- Alvi is quite charming!
I’ve often thought the same (as an adult) about my cat Max. He’d have made such a great husband- very easy to live with and low maintenance- as long as he had cat food, catnip and snuggles- simple needs to meet, plus he put up with me, and I’m not always so easy to get along with.
I watch Alvi’s videos with my cat Kadi. When she hears Alvi meow she always comes to see what I’m doing, so she has become a fan as well. 😂🐱🌟💐

I was found in a boiler house at a school, then a fat man took me home and I met my best friend! He lets me sleep on his bed and feeds me everyday! I am very great full! 😸😽

Oh my goodness Alvi is so beautiful. I had a orange tabby years ago when I was a teenager with an extra fingers, what's called a Hemingway Cat. His name was Perkins. I loved that cat so much but then again I loved all my fur babies that are over the rainbow bridge now very much and now loving Remy boy to the moon and back. Your little girl is too cute, she would marry Alvi if he was a man aww lol
