Best irons ever!! Been playing golf for 17 years and have never shot even par. That all changed when I picked up a set of PXG irons last spring. I shot even par, dropped my handicap to a 4, made a hole in one.. Best Irons ever!!
I just got of the phone with them and as a disabled Marine they are willing to help get me fitted properly to see if I can get back out on the course. Its good to see another Marine do well like Paul one of the owners had done for himself after being in our gun club. Ill keep y'all posted on the fitting with updates.
PXG for Heroes provides a 50% discount for members of the US Armed Forces (active or retired) and First Responders. Makes it really hard not to just go and pull the trigger. Actually this PXG offering was cheaper than the same set up I had been looking at with AP3s and SM7s or i210 and Glide Stealth 2.0. What to do, what to do? LOL.
I have a set of the 0311 in xtreme dark. They are beautiful clubs to look at and hit, feel very soft and off centre hits fly really well. Seen a lot of comments about price which are negative, which I cannot understand as PXG have been very upfront about the pricing strategy. Have had nothing but compliments about the clubs and that is from people who have said "who are PXG?" so it does not come from being impressed by the cost. Good review, away to watch the 0811 driver review as I have one of them as well.
I have 0311t with steelfibre 95 shafts and love them. I also have cobra one length forged irons and must say they feel very close! Forged with elastomer filling accomplished the amazing feel. Now, PXG hybrids feel SO incredible it’s really something. Super super high quality there. I never did try their driver or woods. The irons and the hybrids are certainly incredible and feel good even on mishits- yet still let you know you mishit them.
i like Rick but that comment sums it up. its all about image and the price has nothing to do with recouping money as much as its a marketing tool. its sad to see someone with Rocks experience be so duped.
For those that dont know. The owner of PXG is a former US Marine. I find it hilarious that he has used some pretty well known “numeric indicators” to Marines in the naming of these clubs. Just for your reference and entertainment. 0311 is the designator for an Infantryman in the Marines. An 0811 is the designator for an Artillaryman. I have seen 0211 as well which is the designator for an Infantry Officer. Just think thats a little comical.
I think companies are able to charge whatever they want. Free market, people. They aren't for everyone, as shown by the fact that their sales numbers cut more into Miura and other "luxury" golf companies. I won't be buying a set, can't wrap my head around their prices, but more power to them.
What I hate is the trend that has only gotten worse in the past years of marketing everything towards the rich in golf. PXG 5 grand, new callaway epics over 2 grand, new titleist irons said to be around 3 grand. I get that golf is an elitist sport and all but if things keep going the way they are with no options for the average golfer other than to buy used/older clubs how many new players enter the game? How many clubs will the average golf shop sell? Ping should come out with an iron called FPXG. They look exactly like them, dont have the fancy metal, cost around a thousand dollars. I guess they could call them PnG or something as to avoid lawsuit.
That is an awful argument. PXG aside, you mention Callaway and Titelist. While yes they have some new super expensive sets, they still have starter sets and mid range sets as well. Callaway has 6 or 7 sets available with a bunch of different price points. The "average" golfer has plenty of options available, these are just created for a specific target group.
I am a callaway fitter/products expert. They do have a good price range. $600-$2000. Just salty about the Epic irons price point more than anything. Had five or more members who bought the driver from me and wanted to be fit for the irons when they came out and they all laughed when I told them the price.
I did a demo on the PXG's pw,5, and 7 irons ...I got to agree with Rick awesome clubs but very expensive ....I wound up with the new Mizuno Hot Metal JPX 900 irons and love them.
I work in the golf industry in Phoenix and I had 3 Co workers that took jobs at PXG. I currently game Miura Mb tournaments. and when I hit the PXG 0311 they feel the exact same in the middle as miura. I hit both clubs back to back to back. both the softest feeling clubs that I've ever hit. but their is quite a noticeable difference on off center strikes. I was quite impressed on the size of pxg sweet spot. it's huge. that is in part due to the fact that the face is so thin on those clubs they have to inject a proprietary poly-elastomer in the middle, to help the structural integrity of the head. I was told of you did not, u could cave the face in. as we all know a thinner face means more ballspeed. my answer to my buddies when I go play... "well, just hit the center of the face and u won't have any problems" lol
"When things are more expensive they look better." WTF? Those clubs look like shit no matter what the price is. Its like a guy paying all the bills for his entitled fat wife. All the money in the World doesn't make her look any better.
I don't think there has been a review that I have more anticipated than this one. I would describe the PXG brand like a rolex watch. Sure there are lots of other watches out there that all tell the time, but PXG are just something more, the feel, the look, the brand, its honestly just the rolex of golf clubs. I've hit the irons but I've never hit the driver. I'm interested to see how that performs.
Can you please review the new 0211 DC and the ST. The lower price tag makes these irons very very attractive. I have seen many video reviews so far all talk to the quality and design and usually only show the 7 iron which has very minimal offset or the full lineup with little in-depth review. I would love to know more about the progressive offset mainly in the long irons. I currently have little to no offset on my Nike VR ProCavity
Thanks, Rick. Just checked a UK golf magazine who give a price of £240 per club. That's around £2,000 per set of irons, depending on your bag make-up. A US site gives £300 per club. Great clubs but outside my price range. Are you looking to sell your old Hogans?
It’s 2024 and I’m still running my gen 2 0311 p’s. Looking to potentially swap them out now. Any recommendations for an iron with similar feel? How much improvements has any past gen 2 players found in other manufacturers? Hard to leave my gen 2s. Hell I’ve replaced 3 of my gen 2s with a newer gen 2 through eBay etc. but I think it’s time to move on? Recommendations welcomed
Stephen Jordan what do you mean draw? He's never hit a fade reviewing clubs... Draw is his natural ball flight and he used to produce 7,000 RPM with 7i, which he can't accomplish anymore.
It's a good thing that many of the comments are positive about PXG on this thread… When I heard you say that they weren't willing to send you some, I was ready to write them off at that point.
Late comment for this video but it would be totally neat if Rick could do a comparison between the Gen 5 and this old video to see if they have advanced as much as claimed.
Great review... I really like the tech they're using. It's great to be able to keep the top line thin and have more technology into a blade style iron. The weights are great, and as a fitter, i like them because it allows me to fine tune not only the swingweight, but the CG position - which it doesnt' look like a lot of guys do other than to fit. I wasn't a fan of the look when they came out, but the more i look at them and the more i see them in person - i really really am starting to like them, even with all the exposed weights.
with that loft at 31 degrees, is basically a 6 iron hidiing at a 7 iron spin rate shows you. just under 6000rpm, does head in when says 7 iron but acutally a 6 iron lol, so not exactly long if not a true loft, do have one question for you rick, what felt better pxg or mizuno 900 tour that reviewed few days ago
I know this is an older video but as a veteran looking to buy new clubs pxg has my attention (I already have been looking at price) how does the club handle? would you recommend?
grub screw are a bit old style really for something that's meant to represent the best engineering, surely it should be a tungsten insert with a specific shape, for instant what does the gap between the screws effect
I have to say that these irons are just awesome! I also love what PXG are doing right now which is shaking things up a bit and making no apologies for it. Love them or hate them, agree with the pricing or not, they've been a big talking point this year which can only be good for the game - and for the other OEMs as they continue to challenge 'the norm'. The woods are weak though (no idea why) and my M1 is way better/25 yards better!! Not for everyone though I admit. Great video as always Rick!
Hi Rick, I currently use Donnay slammers, play off +12 and have a average 7 iron distance of 400 yards. Do you think these will outperform my trusty Donnay slammers
call me old-fashioned, but 32* is a 6 iron in my book (5 iron if i'm really old-fashioned). i don't much like the idea of a 7 iron (or 6 iron) that doesn't pretty much stay put when it hits the green. however it is numbered, a 32* iron needs to hold the green. does this software reflect realistic results as far as that is concerned?
How about a review of the Wishon Sterling single length golf clubs? I don't think Puma's are out until early 2017. You will have a HUGE number of VIEWS! Several pro instructors (including the well known Paul Wilson) are actually playing with the Wishon clubs now. Would really like to see what you, Pete and James think of them and spec them out! Thanks!! Chip
@RS - Nice review RS (though what shafts were in the 0311/0311T ...... KBS???) ...... GoDaddy !!! :) Interesting to see the shot results even if only from 2 7i's. ..... Great clubs no doubt. Billionaire owner Bob Parsons a true golf nut. Wonder if you instagram PXG enough Bob would sponsor "Quest for the open ..... with a set !!! ;)
I love the look of the both irons and would be very interested to see how they felt for me off the face. I like the option f being able to mx the set up with forged clubs all the way through.
Rick - for us to understand how these are different, we need to know what your specs are on a standard 7 iron - your standard carry and distance, for example.
PXG came to my town to do fittings (getting fitted is a requirement if you are to purchase). They sold so many sets that they came back twice. Crazy popular.
Pxg is taking a different approach than Nike, Nike went to the mass with an average priced clubs. Pxg is going after the luxury market like miura, more individualized, sell less sets at a higher cost. It’s worked for these smaller Japanese brands for years and many smaller luxury brands. I know the rep in the us that fit me was excited that in his first few months he sold over 600k in product just by going from club to club with the tour van. So I’d say they’re doing pretty well and most people notice they are hitting pxg better because pxg requires you to get fitted, in the USA it’s free, so the rep makes sure to place you with the proper lie, weights and shaft. Rick may have hit the 0311t further because the standard demo t comes with a stiffer heavier shaft than the 0311. Until pxg I never knew how many steel shafts were out there, I tried 11 different ones in x flex and one steel fiber shaft, which is steel, carbon and graphite combined. The shaft I like and was fitted for on the titleist irons I like was a $55 per club upcharge and is no upcharge on the 0311t’s. So adding $400 to the $1900 tmb set plus the $5 per a grip the mc’s would make the titleist irons cost more than the pxg’s. And for less than the titleist I was even able to get my 4 iron with the graphite design tour ad di 95 shaft, that is another $175 option for titleist and standard on pxg. It’s funny pxg driver is 650 or 800 depending on the model while my callaway epic driver was 500 and 335 extra for the graphite design ad di shaft, which would have been no upcharge from pxg. So depending on the shafts you use the clubs really aren’t that bad.
Thanks again for a well done video. I always believe it's the Indian and not the arrow, but you have shown that a well made arrow is also important. As for the price, your right if you want to drive a Ferrari it's gonna cost you, although a Chevy will get you to the same place eventually it's all about the feel of the ride. Will I run out and buy a set, probably not, because if I want to hit the ball 10 yards further I'll just get a bigger club out of my bag and save about $4k. Sooner or later they'll be making some pretty good knockoffs for a lot less, or they will just bring the prices down to a reasonable range. Just like the Honma's, they were also high dollar clubs that eventually went belly up because they priced themselves out of the market. You can buy a set of them for $100.00 now. So you don't only need to make a good product you have to make it affordable or the masses won't buy it no matter how good it is. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos, top quality and it's free.
Ping influence coming from the fact that he stole a couple of their top engineers and club designers which was smart but not nearly as smart as the purchase process. Besides them being good solid clubs he has it set up for you to succeed or at least as much as possible. The trick is you can't just walk into a store and buy them, you have to get custom fit which is a big factor in how well you play. Other golf shops even though they say they also offer custom fitting they really are just trying to sell you clubs off the rack because that's where their best commission is. A custom order ships direct from the manufacturer and they don't get credit for the sale (at least that's how it works in the US). So he's taken advantage of that gap by making you get properly fit and setting you up for success as much as possible. So now people will equate their better play with the club when it's really just a good proper fitting where the employees have no agenda other than to sell you the right version of that one product. Very clever.
Another good club review. Have to say though I don't like the look of them; those tungsten alloy weights on the back face aren't pretty. If they had made them the same basic colour as the rest of the club head it would have been better; just by 2 pence / 2 cents worth. Look forward to your Cheers
Don't worry, there are LOTS of sets for sale on golfwrx. People buy them, try them, hate them, sell them. In that order. Most people can't try, then buy, as a VERY select few fitters have these in stock. Near me, I was able to try them and really wasn't a fan - put them up against Miura, Mizuno, Srixon, Cobra and the Cobra set won.
I don't know anyone else's finances and how serious anyone else is about playing better golf. I will say this: My results with these clubs are much better. I seriously get close to 20 yards more on the irons compared to my Ping G25s on center hits. On mishits, it's about 8-10 yards better, and less off line. To me, that's worth it.
I read an article on this PXG brand and they have custom fitting packages set up for customers. Lowest custom fitting package starts at $16,000 and no thats not a typo, the packages actually start at sixteen thousand dollars and go up to $98,000.
Will be buying these clubs soon simply due to the fact that I'm active duty military and they're offering a 50% discount on an entire set of iron P-4. I don't like the set for 2200 but for 1100, they got me.
if you can't afford them don't buy them!!! I would love a new Porche but I don't bash the people who can afford them. I do on the other hand own a set of these and love playing with them. Priorities!!!!
This is part of that you paid for the "best looking" ...always a matter of opinion... date to the dance - it is the brand, it is "extreme" it is you want to look like all the hot pros they have signed, be different etc.
to my knowledge they were first to fill a hollow iron with thermoplastic elastomer. they did this to strengthen the thin face and found it added a few yards
It's hard without hitting them but from what I've have seen, heard and read. There is definitely a place in the market for these clubs I think and hopefully as they grow there Buisness maybe they will come down a bit in price. Still I would consider buying these clubs for sure if I could afford it. Meaning I think they are worth the extra money if you have it to spend.
Take the cash you are going to spend on those, buy a set of Titleist for half the price and put the rest of the cash towards lessons. My guess is you will probably see some better results.
again you keep deleting my messages I think that's a shame then Bobby Jones Ben Hogan Jack Nicklaus was not about money what about honor I'm a disabled vet have very little money and I think that's what's wrong with golf these days these clubs are a great example opportunities for Rick to be different and make a hard for me to type in messages so I'm doing voice texting so have some respect and leave my message up even if it has a few misspelled words but it does have his honor
Here to stay....one would have never expected say 5 years ago that Nike wasn't...As long as the current trend continues to build for not just custom fit but custom built clubs and "brand" orientation and enough people with bucks go that way, they will stay in business. Unlike many of the pop-up "brands" that are hitting golf with a lot of cool looking stuff...this one has a lot of cash behind it so as long as Parsons is willing to burn cash and there is a market they will be here.
Just looked at the price after reading all the comments......I’m shocked, they are crazy expensive. Buy Miura if you want to buy quality. I’d want hole in one guarantee with Pxg
morten lothe they were made 88-89. full set 1-sw, g loomis tour shafts. played 1500 rounds in four yrs with them but still look new, other than sw. head covers are my best friend.
Golf is pretty mental, If you feel good about your equipment you may be inspired to play better...but at half there price point there are a lot of clubs with similar performance ...
I had a set of Hogan blades in 96. Played 1 round and sent them back. Told them to return them when they found a sweet spot. I haven't seen them back yet.
iblades for me all day long. PXG are just like driving a Mercedes and after a while you realize that you could have saved a lot and bought a Lexus and had basically the same and saved a lot.
Frankenstein meets metal mickey or what ? !!! Don't like them . But what difference does it make cost I can't afford them so not gonna pour hate or any of that nonsense on them just gonna see how many majors they clean up over the next season or two
Best irons ever!! Been playing golf for 17 years and have never shot even par. That all changed when I picked up a set of PXG irons last spring. I shot even par, dropped my handicap to a 4, made a hole in one.. Best Irons ever!!

I don’t remember writing that! 😉
@@David-ey9jg need an update !
I've had my 0311T's for 6 years now, the Best Irons I've ever owned, they are still amazing, love them so so much.
Junk
Have you moved on from your gen 2? And what are you playing now?

Glad i am not the only one who picked up on that.

Nice 6 iron review 31 32 degrees, with KBS soft feel, helped. My 7 is set at 34 so about the same MP29.
Best set I've ever owned, the feel is very unique and you just want to keep hitting them.

Rick would buy a bag of Tees for a tenner because they look better
i like Rick but that comment sums it up. its all about image and the price has nothing to do with recouping money as much as its a marketing tool. its sad to see someone with Rocks experience be so duped.
real ugly looking club, compare it visually to a mp5 no comparison
The sad reality is, a lot of people do think that way.
PS: Ever wondered why ugly as f... Rolex watches sell?
+hertsman10 I love the look of these, personally. Granted Mizuno also makes arguably the best looking clubs on the market.
Think I'll try the iblades and the new mizuno tours thanks. Plus I can get some new wedges too for the price of a set of PXG s
You could get irons, wedges, putter driver and woods.... Pretty sure these are £2000
im glad you had a chance to review i never thought they would be long and lofted any weaker than 34 degrees but wow

More like Hublot imo, Rolex design are usually rather on the conservative side.
Hey Rick,
I was wondering if you can see if there is a different feel between the 0311 Satin finish vs 0311 Black finish.
Can you please review the new 0211 DC and the ST. The lower price tag makes these irons very very attractive. Just a question, similar to the golf bidder challenge. If you had only 150 pounds what set of irons would you buy to play with for 1 year?
Are they worth it or are they expensive kettles?
Also, another 32° with 5,500 RPM. Anything going on with the swing?
Cheers Rick.
Draw
Stephen Jordan what do you mean draw? He's never hit a fade reviewing clubs... Draw is his natural ball flight and he used to produce 7,000 RPM with 7i, which he can't accomplish anymore.
Rick, looking at PXG's website the 0311 should only have 3 weights in the toe like the 0311T. Was the 0311 tested custom fitted?
Is rob potter allowed to test these?
Titleist's 6 iron is 31 degree loft, so no, these aren't long, on the contrary they're very average.
good post
It's a good thing that many of the comments are positive about PXG on this thread… When I heard you say that they weren't willing to send you some, I was ready to write them off at that point.
Hey Rick thank you so much for all the information you upload In your channel. Question? What do you think about the new 5 Gen PXG?
I just got a set of the not T 0311 bucket list clubs never thought I was good enough to play them I am a 9.5 index . They hit the ball straight.
Late comment for this video but it would be totally neat if Rick could do a comparison between the Gen 5 and this old video to see if they have advanced as much as claimed.

180 carry with a 7 iron?? what do you hit your 4 iron??? 3?? Rick you're smashing the ball mate!!
How would you say the feel when compared to say Mizuno MP4?
How do they compare to other top end irons like Vega or the new Sterling clubs(not the same length ones!)???
with that loft at 31 degrees, is basically a 6 iron hidiing at a 7 iron spin rate shows you. just under 6000rpm, does head in when says 7 iron but acutally a 6 iron lol, so not exactly long if not a true loft, do have one question for you rick, what felt better pxg or mizuno 900 tour that reviewed few days ago
If you're curious, the founder of PXG is a former US Marine, and "0311" is the Military Occupational Specialty code for a Basic Marine Rifleman....
Also, the Driver, 0811, is the Marine MOS for an Artillery Gunner, or "Cannoneer."
I know this is an older video but as a veteran looking to buy new clubs pxg has my attention (I already have been looking at price) how does the club handle? would you recommend?

Rick, would you ever consider putting these clubs in your bag?
How about a review of the Wishon Sterling single length golf clubs?
I don't think Puma's are out until early 2017.
You will have a HUGE number of VIEWS!
Several pro instructors (including the well known Paul Wilson) are actually playing with the Wishon clubs now.
Would really like to see what you, Pete and James think of them and spec them out!
Thanks!!
Chip
I'm a Snake Eyes man. Quality and value every time. Cheers Rick.
Hi Rick, got the 0311 and they are awesome!
PXG 0811 DRIVER REVIEW!
ua-cam.com/video/9A4IPTFMs_w/v-deo.html
For him a standard 34 degree 7 iron carry’s 170-175
what going on whit the pxg 0311txf?do you can try ?
Absolutely right but if Nike us any indication you have to sell a good number of clubs to stay in business.
PXG doesn't have Nike's overhead. They have also kept their number of sku's low and aren't trying to be everything... no balls, gear, etc.
PXG came to my town to do fittings (getting fitted is a requirement if you are to purchase). They sold so many sets that they came back twice. Crazy popular.
Great review
PXG Pricy Xtreme Golf ? You can buy Aeroburner Irons, strong loft and near same results for $350, about a 1/4 the price #notworththehype
Where could you get pxg clubs?
How long before those weights start flying off the head and hitting people in the eyeballs?
I've had mine now for 6 years and they are perfect like the day I got them. But I see what you mean, PXG are very well made.
Just ordered the 2021 0211 dualcore can't wait
Im 75 these clubs are awesome cant understand why there not sold in Golf shops
What shafts are in these
Another good club review.
Have to say though I don't like the look of them; those tungsten alloy weights on the back face aren't pretty. If they had made them the same basic colour as the rest of the club head it would have been better; just by 2 pence / 2 cents worth.
Look forward to your
Cheers
Approximately how much are they per club? Like a 7 for example.
I have the 0311T. They are $350/club with graphite for the irons. The driver is $800 (US)
Don't worry, there are LOTS of sets for sale on golfwrx.
Just looked at these on Friday, $300.00 an iron. Insane!!
What is the price of the full iron set ??
I think it's like $3,000 for full iron set, but I could be wrong.
$300 per iron
I read an article on this PXG brand and they have custom fitting packages set up for customers. Lowest custom fitting package starts at $16,000 and no thats not a typo, the packages actually start at sixteen thousand dollars and go up to $98,000.
So when do we think that other companies are going to start making a similar type of forged iron that has a similar type of injection into it?
Will be buying these clubs soon simply due to the fact that I'm active duty military and they're offering a 50% discount on an entire set of iron P-4. I don't like the set for 2200 but for 1100, they got me.
Already ordered a set. 4-LW. Yes, expensive, but I will never have a chance like this again. Good luck.
Recently played with a 20 handicapper who's getting these, yes he has too much money
Oh, the horror
if you can't afford them don't buy them!!! I would love a new Porche but I don't bash the people who can afford them. I do on the other hand own a set of these and love playing with them. Priorities!!!!
They look great, price is insane though for something that performs the same as lots of other clubs
I just don't get PXG. What could they possibly do for someone's game to justify the cost?
you look like a boss in the clubhouse
This is part of that you paid for the "best looking" ...always a matter of opinion... date to the dance - it is the brand, it is "extreme" it is you want to look like all the hot pros they have signed, be different etc.
nothing. There is no new technology in them. It is simply hype and golfers are tge biggest suckers and egomaniacs out there.
to my knowledge they were first to fill a hollow iron with thermoplastic elastomer. they did this to strengthen the thin face and found it added a few yards
...about the same that a Ferrari does, it compensates for perceived lack of genital size ;-)
Love the satin finish!
Good honest review. I appreciate the honestly.
Can you add peak height to those number you usually show.
They do look really good
Great review. Beautiful clubs. The PXG haters are boring and predictable.
i love the look of the black version but expensive
Uff I love the look and I'm going to get them in US! Can't wait.
Isnt 31 degrees just a 6 iron and they stick a 7 iron to cheat you and make you think you are hitting it further?
Why when i search honma this comes up
It's hard without hitting them but from what I've have seen, heard and read. There is definitely a place in the market for these clubs I think and hopefully as they grow there Buisness maybe they will come down a bit in price. Still I would consider buying these clubs for sure if I could afford it. Meaning I think they are worth the extra money if you have it to spend.
Where's the i icon?
Take the cash you are going to spend on those, buy a set of Titleist for half the price and put the rest of the cash towards lessons. My guess is you will probably see some better results.
Price??
I just got the new ping for $1255 and I love it.
again you keep deleting my messages I think that's a shame then Bobby Jones Ben Hogan Jack Nicklaus was not about money what about honor I'm a disabled vet have very little money and I think that's what's wrong with golf these days these clubs are a great example opportunities for Rick to be different and make a hard for me to type in messages so I'm doing voice texting so have some respect and leave my message up even if it has a few misspelled words but it does have his honor
Love my 0311T’s
I really like the look of the PXG range, it's just a shame they are priced as high as they are!
Hit one you be looking for a way to buy them
ping i25s?
When are you going to review the PXG 0211?
Here to stay....one would have never expected say 5 years ago that Nike wasn't...As long as the current trend continues to build for not just custom fit but custom built clubs and "brand" orientation and enough people with bucks go that way, they will stay in business. Unlike many of the pop-up "brands" that are hitting golf with a lot of cool looking stuff...this one has a lot of cash behind it so as long as Parsons is willing to burn cash and there is a market they will be here.
why, when we have Mizuno. I'll stay with Miz/
Jesse Ross I agree because they are so over priced
I hope I'm proved wrong but can't see pxg being around for the long haul. I just can't envisage enough demand at these prices.
Your 3 year old comment seems quite valid. Seems they have not listed any major names in the industry on their roster.
Just looked at the price after reading all the comments......I’m shocked, they are crazy expensive. Buy Miura if you want to buy quality. I’d want hole in one guarantee with Pxg
good review
so not parsons extreme golf but ping extreme golf? lol. i will stick to mizuno. prettier, cheaper and second to none in feel;)
morten lothe what mizuno you play? I'm playing mp 9, absolutely love the instant feed back.
wow how old are the mp 9s? i play mp 64s and they are so good, its stupid;)
morten lothe they were made 88-89. full set 1-sw, g loomis tour shafts. played 1500 rounds in four yrs with them but still look new, other than sw. head covers are my best friend.
awesome. your probably around (scratch) i presume. japan is so good with forging;)
morten lothe I put a couple photos on my profile for you to see mate.
Golf is pretty mental, If you feel good about your equipment you may be inspired to play better...but at half there price point there are a lot of clubs with similar performance ...
Love these clubs. Would buy them in a second. The 0311T clubs look fabulous.
I'd love to play these, for me however the price is to high. Or i could go 5,7,9,S like my starter set :P
These clubs better place the ball in the perfect spot of the fairway for me, everytime for those prices. crazy
The screws make it look ugly af tbh
damn those screws make this club ugly the Hogan's look far better
I had a set of Hogan blades in 96. Played 1 round and sent them back. Told them to return them when they found a sweet spot. I haven't seen them back yet.
@@andrewmcgaha9629 They replied via letter to you, you can play them when you can play golf, they told you to stick to beginner irons.
Hogan sucks. No left hand.
iblades for me all day long. PXG are just like driving a Mercedes and after a while you realize that you could have saved a lot and bought a Lexus and had basically the same and saved a lot.
Frankenstein meets metal mickey or what ? !!! Don't like them . But what difference does it make cost I can't afford them so not gonna pour hate or any of that nonsense on them just gonna see how many majors they clean up over the next season or two
Maybe plus handicap golfers but not going to do much for Joe weekend golfer.
I have a PXG, but I agree with you!
If avelage golf hit PXG , It will be a slice ball.
Can we send u in are swing
