Original audio from Dimension 20/Collegehumor Dropout
DM/Mother/Big Bad Wolf: Brennan Lee Mulligan
Ylfa Snorgelsson/Little Red Riding Hood: Emily Axford
Sorry about not posting for so long, I was dealing with 2 straight terms of college with no break + burnout + internship + exchange paperwork + the slowly dawning realization that compsci probably isn't for me and yet I've locked myself into this career path for the foreseeable future. Anyway hope you enjoy the video!

Man I always pictured her family blasting off like team rocket or something, I was not prepared to see them hit the ground like that
The family was blown away ? Seriously ?, you are aware that the wolf from the 3 little piggies and the one from red riding hood aren't the same right ?
@@Marshall_D_Teach_I'm going to take a wild guess and say you definitely haven't watched the series if you are confidently saying that because That's something they directly say you're wrong about in the series
Like the wolf is a monolith being that exists as one self throughout every story in this series, so you're quite literally 100% wrong on that one
@@Marshall_D_Teach_you haven’t seen Never After then
@@Marshall_D_Teach_and you are aware that this is audio from a dnd series right?
her mom just tried to save her other kids.. she knew the wolf can imitate... like he imitated grandma... what a tragedy
Oh my goodness, this is so incredible! I never expected ylfa’s family to fall back down after they were blown away but that was absolutely incredible and heartbreaking!
Horror campaign!
Gosh... heartbreaking... The expressions of Red Riding Hood. Damn. Well done.
I love the way you've drawn the Ylfa's mother. She's beautiful. So many people when drawing characters and people who aren't very young don't manage to retain their beauty. You did. I like that.
As a child of neglecting and abusive parents this scene really struck me hard. I won't say that Emily Axford's rendition of this is how I feel it, but the scene nonetheless struck a chord.
Seeing it animated like this makes that abundantly clear.
Holy crap mate just the emotions the tension and the sadness you where able to capture and it LOOKS SO GOOD AS WELL GOD BRENNAN AND EMILY SOUND AWESOME COMING OUT OF YOUR ART!!! Also the big bad wolf being the shadow …oooooooooohh so coool
I finished Never after recently and gotta say that Ylfa (Red)'s story was one of the most engaging for me and this was briliant in capturing the origin. I love these animations!!
And here I thought "don't forget to breath' was to try and calm down
The wolf in the shadow is so magnificent!! It's all absolutely gorgeous and so well made, amazing work!!
"Huff and puff, Little One"
red has to be my favorite character emily has done, the role playing was crazy. she's insanely talented
this hurt me like a brick to the face
Rad job making this animatic!
This has made me fall in love with Dimension 20 and NeverAfter. I freaking love messed up renditions of Fairy Tales and this is just so fucking cool!
YESSS!!! Ylfa's story was my favorite part of never after, glad to see some amazing work being done for it!!!
Omg the emotions in this 😭😭😭
I really liked the moms design
Oh forgot how sad this scene makes me, you captured it so well
AWWWWWWW this is making me feel too much this early in this morning 😭😭😭 poor ylfa
really graet job on this!! all your lines are so smooth, and the whole transformation was super well done. i loved the shadow of the wolf on the wall and in the woods, and ylfa splitting the seam on her coat, AH it's all so well done
absolutaly gorgeous, and so very sad. You captures the energy of the characters so well and the expressions are fantastic and the perspective is so good and makes the emotions really pop off. So good
Who else here noticed that her Ylfa voice is the same as her brenda elizabeth (aka brenda lizbeth if you're close) voice
Absolutely gorgeous animatic. Polished art. Stunning angles and expressions. Also the little details!! I love this so much I've shared it to people to get them into neverafter!
Watching this knowing Junior Year is about to RUIN US
Thanks I’m not crying you’re crying
Truly one of the BEST Animatics I’ve seen in a long time, it really captures the energy of the moment PERFECTLY
There were some wonky parts of Emily's RRH throughout the series but overall I liked the whole storyline of Neverafter, especially how Brenden worked character Death into the story.
What's RRH?
@@A_T216red riding hood
By wonky parts do you mean that time she poured broth into a river and followed a caterpillar chasing a butterfly
brennan*
you captured the emotion and tension so well, oh my goodness!!!!
This is a masterpiece! Every panel a terrifying work of art!
So great to see your work again, your artstyle is perfect for Dimension 20.
Man this is great, would love to see it as a fully fluid animation with all the frames!
there was a kickstarter i supported a little while back that had a subclass of warlock that had 'great beasts' as a paytion...big bad wolf. enough said
Man this is gorgeous there looks to be so much effort and i hope this gets alot more views because it deserves it
This animatic is sick, this art style is beautiful, and yet it only adds to the fact that this is the SADDESNT moment in the entire series
SOOO GOOD!! neverafter is my favorite season they've done i love this
It's depressing, Carl
You absolutely crushed this! Truly beautiful work! Thank you so much for this gift.
Great selection. Not all the animatics have to be funny ones
This is awesome! So glad to see a neverafter animatic!
Amazing job as always. Love the emotion you’re able to convey thru your animatics
Beautiful as always

Emily axford killed it as Ylfa
so sad! my heart is broken.
Mother please let me in... Mother... I'm so hungry... I'm so hungry mother...
I like how they’re fucking dead in a pile.
aAND BLOW THE HOUSE DOWN and cry wolf. huff and puff
Ah that’s dope as fuck
Can someone give me the link for the full playlist of this D&D campaign or something like that (I'm having trouble finding anything else regarding this campaign besides bits and pieces) (I'm especially curious about the whole red riding wolf thing)
Dimension 20 is on Dropout, but most of their full campaigns, including this one, require a subscription.
Personally, I'd highly recommend it. It's like $6 a month and worth every penny. Not only do you get D20, but they have a bunch of other great shows that you've probably seen clips from, like Game Changer and Make Some Noise.
This campaign, Neverafter is kind of a horror fairy tale theme, so the wolf exists as the personification of death, but he took pity on Ylfa (little red) granting her wolf powers.
@@brewdaly1873 ok thank you
...The lil braids in her half-wolf form is so cute but also noooooooooooooo
Does that mean she got turned into a werewolf?
Kinda sorta but not exactly. This is from a D&D campaign from Dimension 20, called Neverafter, which has a horror fairy tale theme. In this, the Big Bad Wolf is basically like the grim reaper. But after killing little red's grandma he kind of takes pity on her and gives her wolf powers, though it's a bit more complicated than that.
What is this? Is this from something?
Dimension 20: neverafter, it’s a show on dropout, but I’m pretty sure the first episode is free on UA-cam
:...: the narrator is weird to hear I rather it let it play out itslef and not narratives it throws it off for me
Heyyy maybe you don't know the source of this clip, but it was from Dimension 20: Neverafter! Dimension 20 is a show on Dropout that does DND campaigns, hence the narration. This animation is a fan-made one, based on the narration from the wonderful Dungeon Master, Brennan Lee Mulligan, and the amazing player Emily (the one playing as Little Red turned Big Bad Wolf). The fact that this had such visceral art done shows not only the creativity and talent of the artist, but also the vivid imagery painted by Brennan and Emily through words. Would highly recommend checking them out!
