- Some farmers were having devastating damage to their crops and sod fields. Luckily we were able to remove this giant sow with a bow and arrow, saving the farmers thousands of dollars in future loss. This is Ryan's biggest hog taken with a bow to date!

He says, multiple times, it's a farm pig. There's no reason to discuss if it is or not. He still did society s service by harvesting this big girl. Left out into neighboring crop lands her and her offspring would be devastating. May his family enjoy the harvest!
Hey thanks brother! Our thoughts exactly!
But he never shot both of them..... using a bow is rather lamb.....hes not serious about removing the hogs. Its about " money " !
"protect the lovely money!!!" is that it?

Came in without a worry,it's a great show great composure on the shooter, did good.
Listen to how pleasant his wife's voice is when she answered the phone. That is a woman of Grace. Congrats brother!! Thata boy! Congrats on the newborn as well
when you know you're possibly going to be on a youtube video you probably filter your grace level beforehand...
Beautiful fat rog... congratulations Absolutely 🇺🇸!!
*NEVER* judge a human by outward qualities .
Very very big
Thata Boy!!
Perfect shot
Ethical hunt
Great for the farmers
Great for deer and turkeys
Feeds your (growing) family
Grand excitement for you

Thank you
Small compared to my wife’s sister
Hahahahaha
Dayum lol
Ouch!
Wow, your wife has a HUGE baby bump at the time. At this point, I trust you had a happy and healthy newborn. Oh, I now see you had triplets - that explains it all. :)
Dude shot someone’s yard ham 😂
Potbelly pig
Lol not a wild hog
He shot someone's prize hog.

Blue ribbon 4h hog for sure!
Hahhaha
I like that you called it what it was and didn't claim it was a monster russian boar or something. Those escaped domestics and their offspring can get enormous (read: fat as hell) because they have learned to just eat non-stop and in that environment (surrounded by crops), it's the perfect scenario. After several generations of running free, they're usually much leaner and lighter. I know there are plenty of big ones out there, but 347 would be my heaviest by far. Great kill.
I really appreciate that. I never claimed that this hog was anything that it wasn’t, but some people still have issues with it.
@@ItsAWildLife1 WOuld suspect is is fully the local wild type, have seen a couple of similar ones elsewhere. And the same reaction from knockers was there too. Have seen a boar that was obese, unsure why it was so fat like a tme one (it most definitely wasn't), it was living in hill country that produced a few good pigs for the region
Yes but did they just happen to come across the hog when hunting ? or a more sinister explanation > they purchased the hog from a farmer then released it into the wild to hunt ?
Incredible precision! That shot was like poetry in motion.
You shot yourself an old Hampshire hog from someone's farm that apparently decided to escape to the great wild yonder.
Congrats bud nice kill
New to your channel and I love it !Great video!
I pray that all goes well with your wife and your triplets! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you! Welcome to the channel!
TRIPLETS ! You can bet your done hunting for awhile ! WOW ! Good luck you two and the litter !
You are correct domestic hog fed plenty of them as a kid in Tennessee, love the deer at end of video feeding it for dinner later.
Just watched this episode March 2021, wishing you and you family well I hope everyone is healthy and growing fast 🙏
That is a beast!!!! Nice shot!!! I’ve never hunted wild hogs. I want to without a doubt!!!
Congratulations on the triplets!!! Respect to your wife!!! I have one child but to have 3 at once.
Thank you! Yeah being responsible for one human life is a lot. It is definitely not easy but we are blessed to have some help with the triplets!
@@ItsAWildLife1 hi Mom l.
That is or was a big sow. You know these are the pigs that really have to be taken out she is one pig making factory. Well done and by now you are a daddy congratulations to you and mum all the best from the uk
Love and prayers from the UK 🇬🇧 🙏
It's hard to explain the amount of damage these wild pigs can do to someone who has never seen it, that arial shot of the damage is a good reference. And nice shot on that monster.
no they dont- i use them to regenerate land. your speaking for the farmers that charge us $14/bale of hay.....ill take the feral pigs anyday and could care less about private losses.
@@chadnystrom698 I guess it's not money out of your pocket ........right?
@@savannah505 nope- its money in my pocket and a food source for my family
Fence your property in dum dum
That was a perfect shot. The arrow landed inside where the vitals are. With her running the arrow moved around inside.
That shot was not all that great. I could have dropped that monster myself .... if I could have just gotten 30 yards closer and that hog stood perfectly still while I shot 10 or 12 arrows, followed by my 30.06
WOW~! Thanks for precious video~!^)^
wow!!! can't believe its tht big !!! oh and bless ur family ...beautiful wife stay bless bro

That's gonna be some good eating right there. Congrats.
I'm the second born of identical male triplets myself, congratulations you've a busy but very enjoyable life ahead. ☺👍
Wow thats awesome! I would love to connect with you and ask you some questions. Are you on Facebook or Instagram?
Yea now we are getting the job done brother
Congratulations! Never seen a feral hog with such a short body & little legs like that before. I shot a Boar, with my bow, in Oklahoma that was almost 6' long & weighed 374 lbs. Shot it at 12 yards with a N.A.P. Spitfire expandable broadhead & he only went 10 yds. It's my biggest Hog so far!
It was an obese barren sow. On the fat of the land with crops to eat as much as it wanted.
Would be interesting to know its age, but likely not very old, just didn't stop growimg tp breed.
Really nice pig!!! It was a perfect shot...you hit behind the shoulder and got lucky that it didn't hit ribs based on the arrow behavior at impact. Take a look at single bevel, two blade high FOC arrows. I get full pass thrus on elk which are much larger and have a similarly tough hide. You'll never get that kind of penetration with a expandable.
Auguri alla signora che aspetta il bimbo .bel filmato. SALUTI DA ITALIA.
That is one tasty looking boar, if you want to watch a great movie that was filmed in the 80s , it was called “Razorback “, filmed in Northern Australia. I watched it again last night and it is truely worth the watching of it. I hope you can get it in the states. We hunt them in our cane paddocks. Always a catch daily
That was a real hog!!! Years ago....65 yrs ago, my folks took care of a farm in NW PA and there was a hog trapped there...big old sow...she weighed right 600 pounds on the hoof....she had so much lard on her that when the lard was all rendered, the actual weight of the meat was about 175....wasn't that tasty either...must have been pretty old
@David M ....Crawford County was the place I was referring to.
Now that’s what you call bringing home the bacon 🐖
.....and the HAM!
Sir, that is the biggest mother I have seen since I was a kid wandering around the local farms in my village in England back in the 1950s. They were all confined for most of their lives in stys, so not much exercise. Fantastic work, and my compliments on potting a major feral.
Just looked at some of the other comments. Do you always see that much abuse? I am not a shooter, but as far as I am concerned, the only good feral is a dead feral. Plus you took pride in making a clean kill, not a lingering death. Keep on doing what you are doing.
What a great sow nice job on your shot perfert!😃🐷🐖🐷🐖🐗
“Wild Hogs are the toughest animal in North America” - Grizzly Bear 🐻 - Am I a joke to you? Hold my beer 🍺… 🤙😂
GOT THAT RIGHT! That sow would NOT stand any chance against a fuul grown Grizzly Bear.
-- Hey Grizzly, Wolverine here. Hold my beer. But yeah, I get it.
Yeah in Montana I'd climb up 4 feet to avoid your hog, but brother if griz wants you, your dinner.
The grizzly bear: brown bear.
😂😂😂😂😂
Nice job man you can have plenty of bacon and ham can have your friends and family over and have a pig roast
Loved the intro message and then watched the video. Glad I found your channel, congrats on the baby and God Bless brother!
Fantastic, even after the “clean “ you were so respectful to this magnificent creature. I appreciate that! Enjoy her sausage and thank your farm neighbor and share the wealth!
Respectful? Come on! Save that. What level of respect would you give a pig that wallows in mud, dirt, and all? A pig that causes so much destruction that somehow ended up with an arrow in its fanny shoulders? Respect or not, it’s his meat now.
Vegans love your channel.
And late in the night ,bacon too ....

Oh my gosh man that’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen! Tell Glorianne I said hey and can’t wait to meet the triplets
Will do!!
NOT feral , hybrid maybe, runaway... but even better eating!
Definitely a pet that got loose, too fat to run after being shot means it’s been raised in a pen and released.
Agreed 100%.
Canned hunt with a pet penned hog.
@@texigan_3889 agreed
Apparently most of the commenters on here do not understand what the term feral means. First generation feral hogs are absolutely indistinguishable from a domestic hog. Second generation feral hogs may or may not show changes in skeletal and muscular development depending on what generation feral the boar that sired the litter was. The more generations removed from domesticity, the greater the "wild hog" look will become. Feral just means born out of domesticity and raised without socializing with humans.
Awesome huge hog! Great shot!❤️👍
As a former Montana big game guide, I especially enjoy your vids. I teach English in China and you're a BIG hit in the classroom. Could you please do a video of the equipment you carry with you at all times ( survival, disposable lighter, first aid kit, etc) There is NO hunting (nothing to hunt) in China. So, you have shown humane ways to responsibly harvest meat. RESPECT
Great video, great photography and awesome shot. Now you can “pig out” pun intended
top de mais suas caçadas! sucesso pra ti e seu canal👍👊
What a great video! Thanks for sharing.
New to your channel, great videos !!! That humongous hog, Not a hunter and your explanations of how the shot had to be taken are much appreciated. Congratulations on the babies and much health to you and your family.
Congratulations on harvesting such a huge sow. Hearing the smack of ur arrow as it hit the sow was music to a bow hunters ears🥓👍
Not only do you think that, you actually wrote it down, take it to your shrink and see what he thinks your problem is, because it’s serious.
@Sense of the common man the fk you talking about?
Great hunt; why don’t you show us how you skinned this beast man.
First congratulations on the triples !! First time seeing you. I love the outdoors as well. Congratulations on taking a massive big hog. Looking forward in watching your videos. Oh this is Christmas Day 2021. Just notice it's older video, so the triples may be a year old.
Thank you Dan! Yes the triplets just turned 14 months old. Welcome to the channel!
Headed to Texas in march for a hog hunt with my youngest boy. I'd love to get on a hairy stegosaurus like that one. Great hunt! Great job!
I'm not saying this to brag but as a professional butcher for the last 25 years, I have done well over 2 million hogs. The company that I worked for only bought and butchered sows that had to weigh at least 500 pounds. I honestly don't believe that your hog has ever farrowed a litter of pigs which would make her a nice and healthy guilt. With that white stripe on her shoulder she definitely has some hamp blood in her. Congratulations on a great shot and enjoy the sausage.
You butchered 2 million hogs by yourself? That would take 115 years of working 24/7. 😂😂😂😂
Amazing big hog man good shoot ❤
Great shot that's what I'm talking about. Great video good job . keep it up.
In Louisiana where i hunt their are no farm fields-state lands-mostly Russian with very little domestic traits-killled one close to four hundred -pegged a three hundred lb scale before I got it off the ground then the steel wench got pulled off the steel pole-was able to get it up again with a new wench-big boar-ancient-reg kill hogs in the 250 lb range-lots of sows under 200-very good eating
That’s a lot of meat! Best of luck with the triplets!
What an awesome hunt! That's a stud! I would recommend shooting high foc 19% + and 600 + grains on those hogs,I believe it would do you alot better, congrats! Awesome self film!
You must be kin to ranch fairy 😉
A rifle would have preformed much better....and could have killed both hogs. Nothing here serious about removing hogs. Its all about " money " !
@@jerrylansbury9558 The thing with bowhunting is - you need skill 😉 You dont need much skill to shoot a rifle 🤷🏻♂️. Many hunters like the thrill. And there are many more pros for Bowhunt.
@@ochisuniverse As I stated........ Nothing here serious about removing hogs. Its all about " money " ! Shoot them all as effectively as possible. A bow is not the way to go !
It’s snout is super long so you know it’s not just a domestic pig. This hunt is so awesome. I wonder how it tasted. Good job 👍🏼
That's a lot of meat. That's wonderful! God bless!
Nice sow.. that means alot more. With her genes there
Damn, this will probably last 3 years in your freezer. That is, if it is big enough to contain that monster. Congrats on your triplets!
PS: Oh wait a minute! Did I just see a baby deer being hand-fed? Is it wild or home-raised? That’s a beautiful animal; I wish I could keep it as a pet..., until of course it grew big enough to buck the life out of me. Lol!
Nice score. Congratulations and thank you.
That is what you call "a ton of fun" !! Mighty good eating coming up When I was in college
we had a 400 lb sow named "freight train". She lived up to that name.
Imagine the amount of damage that did in its lifetime
Oh my goodness!! Can you say pork chops & babyback ribs galore!!! LOL
Chet A ..... I was thinking the same thing. Prep it dig a pit and bbq it in the ground overnight.
That´s over 150 kilos Hog. Excellent shot and video. Congrats !
I have just gotten into some wild hogs after joining a deer camp last year. These dudes are dangerous! I would like to harvest a few, but I'm okay if there aren't any quite the size of your harvest. lol Congratulations!
All I can say is... Wow! That's a lot of bacon and sausage!!
Doesn't look like any wild hog I shot. Looks like fat pet
Indeed it ain’t no feral hog!
Brother it’s farmers pig not a boar
It wasn’t like any other hog we have shot either. As fat as I have ever seen. I believe it was wild, caught young and then recently released or got out of someones pen.
@@user-gp7ti1of7l Of course it was.
Did u have to keep pushing her away from the blind cause all she wanted was you to scratch her head?
Great video
Awesome pig and an even better shot. I shot a pig about the same size years ago with a .22 magnum..., and she took 4 shots to finally bring down. She also was from domestic stock that was about 4 or 5 generations old. The authorities booted out a heap of squatters and took their livestock..., but left the pigs thinking they would die off..., we are talking around the 1920's..., 50 years later we had these monsters eating the clover crops.
Just found your channel.i wanna be like YOU when i grow up. Great stuff! Congrats in the baby! God bless!

Heve a good thanksgiving dinner "Bon appètit 👍from Brooklyn New York City
Two well placed shots! One ending life, one starting life!
I try 😏
BIG PIG :) CONGRATS on baby coming :)
Not being negative, but I always wondered why hunters used “Range Finders” to get the distance from their hunt set up (Blind or Stand) to a feeding or feeder location. When you set up you can measure that distance and a few other things where you may have shots etc. This gives you one less thing to do while hunting and take some risk out of you moving and making noise....
As is in Golf as well as Bow Hunting, it’s a confidence measure in the pre-shot routine to help in the hunter’s confidence during release.
Superb shot.
Lots of food buddy. Enjoy the family cook out
Be careful patting that exit wound side of a hog....broadhead can be right there under the hide. Great shot.
Thank you! And that is actually a very good point since this arrow broke. Good call!
Now Ryan, just how will you react when her big brother and mother come around to have a little chat with you? Be very careful out there in the woods my friend. Congrats on the little hunters about to join the team.
Superb video. I try at all cost to ignore "cancel culture". I salute all hunters and fishers!!!!!!!
Congratulations on taking that huge sow with your bow. They have tough hide, but a good sharp broadhead does the job. Enjoy.
