Thank you for your sharing your hunt. Thats one sweet rifle. Appreciate you sharing how you cook your pig. You might wanna use a propane torch and steel sponge or wire brush to clean your pig. You can also add lemongrass, green onion, red onions and garlic to the inside of the pig. Looking forward to see your next hunt.
I greatly respect all hunters that use the entire animal. It's not just the sport of hunting, you're also hunting for food. It's the way it should be done. Nothing goes to waste. If I ever go hog hunting, I will ensure the entire hog is processed for consumption. Cheers!
@@jimsturtso what there are starving humans that can be fed with that meat if preserved properly .. why kill and waste it in that case jus spend money on keeping them out instead of jus killing... Only race that kills for fun
Now this is the best food, from wild to the table, exactly how it was supposed to be, not to the factory first. Thanks for sharing. You are a good man, for taking only what you need.
Greetings i live in the Philippines, there is so many hogs just roaming around in your forest area and i'm pretty amaze, that you can catch and cook, try to cook lechon pig the pilipino style lechon pig, awsome ❤
Greeting from Tropical Fiji 🇫🇯 I am glad i found you guys on UA-cam, you are now one of my favourite Channels when i am not doing anything. I love watching these kinds of Videos, Hunting, Trapping etc. It's really enjoyable too, when you guys take home the kill, clean them, and cook them deliciously. I love it, we have wild Pigs here up in the hills but we only use dogs, horses, knives and bamboo spears to kill them after a very long day of Hunting and chasing. It gets really tragic sometimes because the Wild Pig can turn around and attack, injuring people, sometimes it can kill a dog. I am watching and learning from you, so i can be an expert in years to come, with no injuries at all. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we really appreciate it . Happy Shooting, trapping and Hunting.....Cheers.... OMG you guys really do that pig Good, yummy, looks delicious, wow, everyone enjoying it. Oh Yumm i would love to have some crackling pleaseeeeee🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awesome Family. LOVE YOU ALL, KEEP SMILING
Im a professional pig roaster, and giving you tip for good and appetizing roteserie pig, just boil water so that the pig can sabmerge, so that the skin can easily remove
Enjoyed the video. Keep doing what you're doing. To hell with negative comments. Those pigs cause real damage to the landscape and farm land used to grow for profit. Keep whacking them, it's interesting to watch. Keep up the good work!👍
Always remove hair straight after kill, if you leave it dying for a long time it will be hard to remove hair for some reason. Gut after you remove hair, I promise you the pig will look cleaner with this process.
Boss if you pour the pig with hot hot hot water it is much easier to get all the hair of the pig..and you put some spices on the inside man you will make it like a letchon here in the Phillipines
I really like your philosophy on killing them. I have never had much of an interest in hunting for sport but going out and hunting hogs seems like a really legitimate way to put food on the table and benefit natural wildlife.
Philippines and Florida history are quite related. Both territories were under the domain of *two* different (but the same) empires during centuries. Florida's independence is pending tho
And that's how it's done in the great and FREE state of Florida! Great video. I'd be curious to know where you are in N. Central because I'm in Northwestern, near the Gulf Coast.
Appreciate y'all we get alot at r club in ga been wanting to try that just haven't pulled the trigger own it till know going down this sat and a new mc and cheese recipe man I'm hungry already thanks u be safe God bless
man, that crispy skin looks tasty !!! give me a bottle of Tabasco and I'm good. I'm surprise more catch-clean-n-cook guys don't keep the skin. Most of them skin the hog and throw it out.
Thank you for being an ethical and humane human being. All I ever see on you tube is a bunch of assholes shooting up a bunch of pigs and leaving them to die and rot in the woods. If there were more people like you maybe we could come up with a humane solution for the feral hog problem. Thanks for the video.
I just aged some pork for 3 months to make capicollo that made some amazing Italian subs. I wanna dry age some loin chops though I’ve heard that it’s as good if not better than ageing beef.
For a cleaner finish ,you shouldve boiled a big pot of water and dio the hog in there for a few seconds the hair will come off easily. But either way it looks awesome
You Americans have absolutely amazing lives, you need to appreciate more. Greetings from Venezuela!
You are absolutely right! Most of us complain when we should be thankful! God bless you.
We do. It’s the liberals and vegans who complain about wild hog hunting
Actually I see some bad Guy from Venezuela but you are not from them

It was winter and the pigs were suffering form cold. You guys were so kind to let them hang on to the fire pits like that.

Thanks for the tips! We usually use water at 150-160 degrees and it works well. Those all are great ideas. Next time!
@@ItsAWildLife1 guy, you should of poured some water with salt in it when roasting. Pour it on the skin.
Now that's what I call living the life ❤️❤️❤️

Great video I enjoyed this Immensely! You are very ethical nothing from your hunt went to waste!
Hi from frozen Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures
Best food i ever ate. I like the smaller ones. The best buried on coals in dirt .

Absolutely!!!
these hogs are more like pests - sure you could eat them but there's more than enough to leave in the field

Even though I don't eat pork but I like how you roast it.. God Bless!!!
This man is the fantastic steward to wildlife that mother nature intended.

There are so many pigs....so delicious if you grill it.....I really missed hunting season in Canada 😊😊😊

Having ure woman helping u makes u a very blessed man.. kiwi
Delicious.....Hai from Malaysia Borneo
I definitely appreciate your adherence to an ethical, clean kill. God gave us these animals for sustenance, and we owe that to them.
That's awesome! I always thought you'd get a burnt hair taste after singing it like that. I'll have to try it.
You have to sing the right song.
In the Philippines we called it Lechon, and the skin is colored brown not burnt black....😊
They need to learn from us
In the caribean we called, Lechón, cerdo, puerco, cerdo, Marano
Always remove hair straight after kill, if you leave it dying for a long time it will be hard to remove hair for some reason. Gut after you remove hair, I promise you the pig will look cleaner with this process.
You love the sound of your voice very much....
Big fans of hunting ,, follow you on you tube,,greet from the kingdom of Tonga
Welcome to the channel. Great to have you!

Fl hog hunter here. I take a ham or shoulder smoke about 10 hours electric smoker. Shred and crockpot with BBQ sauce. Pulled pork sandwiches
Great job on the roast. Makes my mouth water...😊
That looks like a Bergara rifle! What exactly is it please? You livin mighty large Jr. HIGH ON THE HOG BABY!😀
I really like your philosophy on killing them. I have never had much of an interest in hunting for sport but going out and hunting hogs seems like a really legitimate way to put food on the table and benefit natural wildlife.
Awesome video ! Yawt yawt sent me over!! Looking forward to lots more.
I respect your ethics - thank you - and very rare 😊
No, he's not rare. It's those who aren't who get trashed, demonized and magnified by the touchy feely types out there.
Nice. Well done.
We usually burn the hair off with hot water and scrape. Do you get a different flavor from charging and scraping?
We always used hot water to loosen the hair and scrape it off. Never tried burning it. But either way that looks good
That’s the way we usually go, but wanted to try it this way and see how it went. The hot water method definitely works better.
The greatest country on earth (Florida still at least)
Back to old days, catch clean cook
We make Lechon here in phillipines,,!😋😋😍😍😍
I would absolutely love to go wild hog hunting!! I have no idea where to even start to do it though.
Great job
Wow that was amazing! Vant wait to try that...
Good y'all had backup food, Just Saying 🤠
Yep!!you dont know ya born..HARDCORE CARNIVORE from England.
Man, ethical, practicing sustainability, picking up your brass, dude, you're awesome.
I am envy on it. this is good, man
Love this!!!
I love hunting and I do know how to roast Pigs or here in the Philippines we call it "Lechon". Good hunting guys😄
Philippines and Florida history are quite related. Both territories were under the domain of *two* different (but the same) empires during centuries. Florida's independence is pending tho
this is a terrible looking lechon in comparison though 😅
Yummy ❤
dipping o the pig in boiling water or pouring is the fastest way to remove the hair, Nice way to cook lechon roast pig
I think it's better to peel the skin before grilling, as if you have time to remove the char, it will have a smell and won't be delicious.
Damn!
Soon as he knew he was bein' watched! Boom!
Nice
Awesome gun.
Yummy pig
They didn't wash the char and ash off the skin before throwing it on the rotisserie. Either that or the skin was completely burnt.
People should hunt more boars. It's good for the environment. It's good for the ecology.
Hunt rats man
Definitely to get cancer at 60 with the burnt fat and skin
Not sure how the hunter is skinny, typically hunters from the south have faces the size of watermelons
And that's how it's done in the great and FREE state of Florida! Great video. I'd be curious to know where you are in N. Central because I'm in Northwestern, near the Gulf Coast.
Beautiful ❤❤
Bellisimo e buonissimo
Damn. Made me hungry. Goin to check the fridge...... Keep on eating what you kill.
This reminds me of the burnt turkey scene from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Nice Bergara rifle. I have 2 myself in 6.5 creed. But looking to build a 308 m40a3 clone
Appreciate y'all we get alot at r club in ga been wanting to try that just haven't pulled the trigger own it till know going down this sat and a new mc and cheese recipe man I'm hungry already thanks u be safe God bless
I'm upset that so many of them got away.
Roasting pig, you will not go wrong using lemon grass as one of your aromatics. The flavor just seeps through the meat!
Best part from pig is the skin 😁
You friends With Billy Bob Thornton ?, man what a life- love your channel, thanks

Yummy!
Thank GOD for this dinner. Joe B is letting others take this away from us!
Awesome hunt
I enjoyed this video, wish y'all would mention what kind of firewood? Have a blessed day America
Thank you! We were using oak.
ehre in the philppines wild boar endangered species we prayed many wild boar here in phil
Thats 20x better tasting than supermarket pork, I should know its a prized meat here from the Philippines.
Mouth watering
in our country its almost gone that's one of our delicacies
Rotisserie pig - the best there is!
you can actually soaked the pig in boiling water to remove the hair. it is like lechon or roasted pig.
You guys should try our Chinese pork recipe - especially Bak Kut Teh.
man, that crispy skin looks tasty !!! give me a bottle of Tabasco and I'm good. I'm surprise more catch-clean-n-cook guys don't keep the skin. Most of them skin the hog and throw it out.
in the philippines we remove the hair or bristle before roasting. the skin taste much better
Curious if the meat is similar to farm raised pigs (pork) or more gamey?
Very OK to shoot and eat wild meat! The hog was in no sense mistreated. It completed its destiny in becoming a meal for people.
Mantap,...👍💯👌👌🙏
Small pigs were tatse good👍
Mouthwatering!
That piglet looks burnt 🔥🥵😂

😋🤤
So that’s why there was never another sequel to Babe.
Wow its good i want to go in your country to try and cook roosted wild pig
Honest to goodness eating off the land , American Spirit .
👍👍👍
You can age pork. Maybe not wild pig but you can definitely age pork.
I thought about that after I said it. You can age it but pork is not usually aged.
I just aged some pork for 3 months to make capicollo that made some amazing Italian subs. I wanna dry age some loin chops though I’ve heard that it’s as good if not better than ageing beef.
Mmmm tender
The black one always gotta die first 😂😂
For a cleaner finish ,you shouldve boiled a big pot of water and dio the hog in there for a few seconds the hair will come off easily. But either way it looks awesome
My dream life ❤
