A decent mooch about there Dean. I hiked through Downton Castle some years ago on my way to a party. I looked around and filmed the castle - the place was shuttered up. I put the video on youtube only to have a representative of the castle contact me and ask me to take it down. It turns out the castle is owned by a French family worth billions. Awesome weir at the end there. Mark
A good walk video with a very interesting return route back to Ludlow. Curiously the weir at Downton appears to be constructed very much in the style of Telford's Horseshoe Falls although much smaller in scale. Added to the list of places for me to go see! 🙂
