Ay up me duck. That morning with the sun showing its hazy self through the fog, just magical. Something very special about the scenery when it's foggy, I love it. Ay a good'un 👣🤙
Nice path right out of the carpark and a nice day to start a hike/camp too. Never enjoy walking on a road for a longer but more scenic route to the top would be my preferred option too. Impressive summit cairn and circular dance too but the real highlight was that 360 - amazing! Looked a great pitch and brilliant views too, good to see you both kept dry too, well, apart from the tent condensation. What a chance from the morning view to the previous nights view but for the time of year not unexpected. Cheers Alan
Ah Brown Clee Hill. Thanks for sharing Rachel. My wife, Judith and I camped up here when we did the Shropshire Way not far from you by a small tarn. Isn't it a great viewpoint looking out over the plain. As you said, Shropshire is a very underrated area. Have a great Christmas and hope you get to enjoy more adventures in 2024.
Great video... looks like a beautiful area to explore. The out-takes made me giggle, I can really relate to the intro - sometimes takes ages to get right 😂 Brilliant, Jenny x
Hi Jenny, thanks for stopping by. Yes, the outtakes were a good giggle. Thought I'd add them on, and thank you for watching til the end. It's apprepiated. All the best xx
A great wild camp, Rachel. It is great to vlog these trips, but it is great to just switch off and experience it yourself, too. Thanks for taking us along.
Cool...Brown clee hill is on my list of Historic English county tops...should be doing it in a few weeks...Apparently the summit is not the viewpoint...it beyond the aerials.
Nice easy route up Rachel. It doesn't always have to be hard. Gotta say I'm a flash user but usually with mint tea-picks me up! Great views up there and good for a camp. Re-the camp I agree - connect with all creation - a deep dive. As for the clag love it magic - it's kind of fully immersive, which was the case on my last camp as it happens. Well, a reasonable night and good walk down. I imagine you felt bathed again. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark, second time camping on Brown Clee Hill, and its a firm favourite. This was the only vlog I did on our Shropshire trip. We also ventured over to Titterstone Clee hill and the later on the Long Mynd. Made the most of our three day adventure. Thanks again for watching and taking the time to comment. All the best x
@@ramblingracheltrailtales Hey, sounds like a great trip Rachel. I've had the pleasure of the Long Mynd - it is good. A pleasure. Have a good week ahead.
Superb, upbeat and magnificent, a real joy to watch. Lovely autumnal colours and lighting. Avoid that service road. Superb trig dance and what an unusual trig stone and the flush bracket is located separately, how unusual! Epic shots of the sun peaking through. Tea with a view! Good charity shop find. Wigwam time! Great reasons! Mmm, meatballs and pasta, my favourite! 4C thats pretty cold! Well done on packing up and leaving no trace. Shame about the fog dampness. 👍 great outtakes!
Hi ya, thanks for tuning in. I hope you are both having a good week. I didn't know the trig ID number plate was called a flush bracket, I've learnt something new today, thank you. It is strange they are in different spots. I can't recall seeing another like this.
Hi Rachel, Lovely to see you both in sunny Salop, don’t think we’ve ever done Brown Clee Hill, done Clee Hill but that’s a very different place, I’ll add it to my list for our next visit. Now almost mid-November that almost summer scenery at the intro seems ages ago. Fantastic sun at 16:30. Did you camp on The Long Mynd the second night? You can tell me no one is listening. Cheers Graham
Hi Graham, we had intended to camp on the second tent but couldn't get the tents dry unfortunately. So we stay in a pod at a campsite/farm very close to the Long Mynd. I didn't do many more vlogs from this trip but did put some photos up on Instragram from the other days we had out. Brown Clee hill is great, a very enjoyable walk up with great views at the top. Thanks for watching and have a good week x
Another awesome video!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Nice one Rachel loving it.
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice. Video Rachel 👍 😊
Thank you! 😃
Great memories of an epic wild camp! That afternoon and evening light was magical and more than made up for the lack of a sunrise 😊
Yes it was! Looking forward to more adventures in the near future! x

Absolutely! Camping is a bit more of a challenge with the nights drawing in but we made the most of it. Thanks.

Hi Steve. Thanks for watching. It really is quite an incredible hill to hike up and down. Also, a great spot for wild camping too.
