Good video showing how just interesting the Tenbury locale is. I too liked the woodland section and the stepping stones across the stream looks to be a great route. I too was fascinated by the church in Knighton - thanks for showing this and now added to my list of places to visit. As an aside I think if the Teme had more crossings your marathon planning would indeed be easier. Also thanks for explaining how the drone footage works and it did add an element of depth to the footage which I liked - you are using this element creatively! Keep up the good work Dean 👍
@pneumant Hi, thanks very much. Very kind and glad you enjoyed the video. Have another video on the way soon and probably two more recces to do after that before finalising and testing the complete route. Yes it's a shame there aren't more bridges over the Teme...
@@hamrammr1 Hope you are ok after the awful flooding in Tenbury I have just viewed the infamous footage of the tractor being 'driven' through the town and idiocy aside cannot believe how deep the water was on that stretch. I really feel for the shop owners and residents alike. What is needed now is a sustained dry period - fingers crossed for that!
@pneumant Thank you. Yes it's been a mad week. Apocalyptic. Millions have been spent on 'consultation' with nothing physically being done. The fear is that the powers that be are just hoping it will all go away so they don't have to commit the money needed. So much destruction to business. Don't know how they cope.
Nice section around the wood, and I prefer this side from watching both videos . Maybe a half marathon route would be more achievable due to the potential hazards of road traffic. 👍
@jimbrace5102 Yes, half marathon route would certainly be easier, but I can't resist the challenge of the full marathon. Hopefully main road sections will be limited in the final route.
