Paint markers like posca paint markers would be good for something like this cuz they have different tips so you can get very fine details too, love this cup! So pretty!

I bought the SVG from Etsy and cut it on my Cameo.
I’m in love. I’m actually trying to do this tonight. I just put the glitter on. But I’m not really sure how long it takes for it to dry before I can epoxy it. Is it a few hours or the next day? Thank you in advance
It really depends on how thick it is applied and the humidity in your area. I usually wait overnight.
If you gently rub the surface of the tumbler with a dryer sheet before you apply glitter, it will help relieve the static.

Yes people you can use Crystalac instead of epoxy. Use glitter glue instead of mod podge because mod podge doesn't dry well.

Love your cup. Can you use crystal ax instead of epoxy as I am allergic to some of the ingredients
I don't know anything about that product. Epoxy is the standard because it is durable and many are food safe. A lot of people are allergic to it. PPE is a must!

I have made 3 cups so far. Each one is a little better and I am certainly learning from my mistakes. My biggest problem is getting my epoxy smooth. It’s just not drying evenly. Any suggestions? Your cups are gorgeous. Thanks. Patty
This is my process ( ua-cam.com/video/HDJhMsWh3zg/v-deo.html ). It does take practice learning the environment. Humidity, temperature, the turner being level, the amount of epoxy can all have an effect.

How long have you been filling that mixed dump jar??
A couple years. I try really hard to save what I can it the original jars. That was just what I couldn't put back but just could not make myself throw away.

Enjoy your videos. Very down to earth. I'm new at doing tumblers and I noticed that you always take off the top and bottom of your tumblers. Is it just a personal preference? I've seen videos where some people tape or dont tape.
It is a personal preference. But I have found this is way more durable. I have dropped several cups and they get dents in the bottom or the top but I still have not cracked any epoxy.
What paint do you recommend to put on the tumbler before you do Mod podge, glitter and etc?
I usually just spray paint it after prepping.
Which you think. Modge pod or tack it?
It depends on the look you're going after. Mod Podge will attach the glitter how ever it falls (flat, sticking on its side, etc) and dry like that. Tack it is a less sticky adhesive and you can reposition your glitter by rubbing on it to smooth it down. MP will let the glitter sparkle the way it is originally intended. Tack it will give a more even appearance and it will be similar to what the glitter film was before it was cut. This light blue (Ice Ice Baby) would be a really pretty blue opal with the tack it.
For this stained glass look, I used MP.

Did you epoxy over the stainless at top and bottom?

What brand and size tumbler are you using???
This was a 22oz Fatty from the Stainless Depot. All of the products used are listed in the video description.
How big is that stencil? TFS
It is about 6" x 4.5"
how do u get the epoxy out of the brush?
You don't. I don't use a brush for epoxy. I only use a brush for ModPodge and I wash that with soap and water.
didn't see why painting before hand was needed?
The reason I painted them was to make sure I only needed a minimum amount of glitter for each space. Some of them were also transparent and those would have changed colors with a blue base. It just insures that the colors are as true and vibrant as I wanted.
