I've been researching tutorials on making different kind of tumblers and I've only subscribed to you and a couple others. The only difference is I'm binge watching all yours! You make me feel confident that when I have all my materials together I'm ready n excited to get it done! THANK YOU!!
And I had a question I'm going to start w my kids cups simply because they wont care about imperfections as much lol but could I just do the glow n the dark spray paint the 2x as you recommend without mica powder? Will that be bright enough to see it??
Your tutorial videos are, hands down, my FAVORITE! I turn to you everytime! I look to trying something new and if you have it, I normally do not even bother continuing to review other people's tutorials. Thank you so much for all of your help! You are AMAZING! :)
I started my first fabric tumbler last night and the edging tool definitely made the process so much easier. I'm currently adding my layers of modge podge and will add epoxy tonight. So excited to see the finished product.
Depending on the style of fabric you could also use the glitter mod podge for a cool effect. Great video's and you are a really good teacher. Thanks so much for sharing all your wonderful idea's. You could make a beautiful set to match your outdoor furniture too.
I did this cut on a cup today and it worked so well!! I've watched other videos and all they did is confuse me the way they did it and you made it so simple!! Thank you so much!! Not sure how you would like the way I seal, but I put about 4 layers of mod podge and then seal it with a ckear gloss spray paint and it works great and saves all the layering of the mod podge 😀
You need to join my FB group!! I was singing your praises for mentioning this! I announced the success once I tried itr! The link to join is in the description under the tutorial!
I have watched many videos on this and I always wondered why others were not doing the double cut on the material. My Dad called it that when he hung wallpaper for 30 years. I can't wait to try this. Thank you!
I was looking for this tutorial I knew it you had something like this👍. I bought the cutting tool too, thank you for that recommendation, this will help a lot to do my nice cuts. You are one of my favorites in UA-cam, your tutorials are very clear . Thank you so much !!

So glad that I found your Channel! I've been wanting to try to do tumblers for a while. I always felt intimidated till after watching your videos! I want to give it a go! You give a really good list of supplies, but I was wondering where do you get your tumblers?
I love your tutorials. The only thing I do different is epoxy all the way to the cup edges so I know the seal is good. I always feel like you're going to cut your ring finger. Lol
I saw someone do a glitter tumbler for a bride where she used lace fabric over a white glitter base. Would you just mod podge and add the fabric or do you have to epoxy the cup first before the lace is added?
Summer you are so awesome! Thank you for teaching me so much. If I want to add washi to the seam, do I add it and then mode podge or add it right before epoxy?
I loved to watching you! 1 Question, you used the X-Acto knife at the end to remove the Epoxy, but could you have, also used the Edging tool? Just wondering! The knife intimidates and and I really don't have a very steady hand. Thank you
Thanks you so much for making these awesome videos!!! I used some white paw patrol fabric for my son and I. I coated with modpodge but it seems like there's like little small burnt Marks it's not exactly noticable since it's for me I really didnt worry much but I'm wondering what caused the burnt Mark's. No one I've seen had this problem so idk what I'm doing wrong. Thank you in advance for advice. :)
Jennifer Skipper hi I’m Cassie. One of Summers moderators from her Facebook group. You should be able to you just might have to work faster. Mod podge has a little leeway.

Carla Espinoza hi I’m Cassie one of Summers moderators from her Facebook group. If your doing hang method you only want to use 2ML of epoxy. 1ML of each (if your epoxy is equal parts)
you really have to get a good seal and make sure your fabric is laying flat on the cup, if it's lifting you didn't seal it well enough with the mod.... and make sure the mod is COMPLETELY dry before you epoxy

Can you use a favorite tshirt cut out instead of a fabric square?
Waiting on your heat press? Here I was thinking about a regular iron to iron out the creases.
Can only be done the step 1 (put fabric) done with mod podge? Or I can us another product? X
Summer you are so awesome! Thank you for teaching me so much. If I want to add washi to the seam, do I add it and then mode podge or add it right before epoxy?
stacey gillespie definitely use some sort of sealer.
I LOVE LOVE!! Definitely going to try this out....what kind of fabric is best for doing this project? Thank you!
Cotton is pretty easy to work with but you can do almost any fabric=)

Barbara Noonan yes absolutely!
Will the cutting tool work even if I have mod podged 4 times on the fabric?
Do you have a tutorial on how to put glitter on the edge of the fabric tumbler?
it would be the same process as regular. Just tape off the fabric part of the cup, apply your glitter, seal, and epoxy

Taryn Hattan make sure to coat it with triple thick spray before epoxy!!!

Those spots are from the epoxy seeping into portions of the fabric that weren’t coated enough
Thank you so much for the info!
Can you do fabric on a plastic tumbler like the water bottles from Dollar Tree
stephanie bailey you sure can!
do you think I could spray the cup with a spray adhesive to the cup to get the fabric on, then apply modge Podge over the top multiple times?
Jennifer Skipper hi I’m Cassie. One of Summers moderators from her Facebook group. You should be able to you just might have to work faster. Mod podge has a little leeway.
O.M.GGGGGGG your videos are 🤯🤯🤯🤯 #NewSubscriber
Couldn't you use the tool again to trim the epoxy? I don't have a steady hand so I can use all the help I can get?
Marsha Lloyd Yes! Absolutely! It would act just like an exacto knife!
Did you remove the tape after both layers of epoxy dried? Or on between each layer and the re taped it for second layer?
remove the tape after each layer of epoxy BEFORE it dries, other wise you will go mad trying to get that tape off
Make a tin foil ball and poke/stab into the foil it cleans and sharpens the blades
Could you please tell me how you know where to trim the flap of fabric? I do not get that part?
Where do you get your 30oz skinny? The squares are called "fat quarter".
Big Guy Customs I always thought fat quarter was when there was a whole stack of small cuts of fabric in complimenting patterns and colors not just one. I love learning stuff:)
Where do you get the Turner from
Would this also work on paper?
Can you use the hang method to do the epoxy with fabric cups?
yes, be sure you have LOTS of mod and it is FULLY dry as suggested in the video before you epoxy with any method of your choosing
How much epoxy should I use if I don’t have a cup turner and want to use the hang method?
Carla Espinoza hi I’m Cassie one of Summers moderators from her Facebook group. If your doing hang method you only want to use 2ML of epoxy. 1ML of each (if your epoxy is equal parts)
So you ended up with 8 coats of MP after cutting the rim? That's the only problem I seem to be having is not getting a good enough seal
Elizabeth Mayberry you need quite a few coats. Make sure they are even coats.
I'm having a heck of a time sourcing tumblers! I really want the 20 oz skinny but can't find them. Any ideas please?
Judy Doster If you join my FB group we have a company that is taking pre buy orders for them! They are wholesale prices
I joined yesterday. I'll go check it out...thanks!!!
Which kind of modpog donyou use? Like the fabric specific?
Amanda Jones I honestly use them all for anything LoL
You dont epoxy after you put the decal on?
Yes, If you add a decal you would epoxy over it. This cup (in the tutorial) has no Decal
Did u use the hanging method on this cup
Lines M Perez no she used a turner.
I taped my cup up but still had trouble getting my epoxy to seal the edge of my fabric. Any suggestions?
you really have to get a good seal and make sure your fabric is laying flat on the cup, if it's lifting you didn't seal it well enough with the mod.... and make sure the mod is COMPLETELY dry before you epoxy
Will this process work on mason jars?
Denise Metz yes!
