Man, that was a great couple of races. How quickly you are adapting is amazing.
Just a bolt through the peg works for me, i love doing fast wheelies and never have an issue, a real bad bumpy section might have it off the peg but its rare, depends on the bike too, on my R1 the foot sits so well it never moves, but on other stuff it sits slightly differently.....the key is to never attach yourself to the bike in any way that might drag you if you come off, been doing this since 1995, im above knee right leg so im on thumb brakes or heel brake on some stuff, i have done trail riding and thousands of miles abroad on bikes, you are doing ace, have to say i would love to be below knee as its less complicated but it is what it is....my life all in all is better than when i had two legs because of the amount of people i have helped adapting round disabilites with bikes, Good luck with the racing,

Hi @spondonchris. I am a RAK amputee too and would love to get back on a bike for track days but have talked myself out of it too many times due to foot attachment, how to get bike off the side stand etc etc etc. Would love some advice. Paul.

Absolutely awesome and inspiring to see Boothy back and racing again. I myself am in the midst of recovering from a severe motorcycle accident and it's nice to know I'm not alone in absolutely wanting to be back on a bike.
