‘My risks were calculated.. just not always calculated well’ 😂 What an inspiration for anyone experiencing adversity. Best wishes for your nuptials, Boothy. She’s a lucky woman. One in a million.
You've lived more in those last 3.75 laps at the TT than most of us live in our whole life. You're a bloody legend Mike, glad you're still around brother.
Right? no actually, not at all. This is something of a personal statement/feeling I would think more so. Live you life more doesnt have to include riding a bike at 200mph, thankfully!
I don’t often comment on YT videos but Boothy it has to be said you are incredibly inspiring and an epic role model. Your parents did a cracking job bringing you up. All the best. RESPECT.
To say you are inspirational somehow seems to undersell you Boothy. Your positivity, determination, bravery, passion and spirit are simply on another level. Thank you for sharing your first journey back to the IOM with us.
Absolute bloody legend! My Dad lost his right leg above the knee (back in the 70s) from a motorbike accident. He's still going strong. Wish you all the best Boothy!
Boothy, Many individuals have won the TT over the years. How many names can we really remember but for a few? 293K subscribers plus will never forget the man, the myth, the ledgend, Mr. Mike Booth. You sir are more of a man than most of us could dream to be. A true inspiration. Now that the team is truely back I can't wait for more of the best motorcycle content on the web. Keep it up, you legend!!
When I was laid up in the hospital after a really bad wreck, my family thought I was crazy for wanting to get back on a bike as soon as I was able to. You need to face it directly to get on with it. Congrats Boothy, and good to see you back.
Christ, I wasn't ready for this. Thought I could just have it on in the background whilst working but this is too poignant. Boothy, you're an awesome chap. You have real fight and words can't do justice to how much admiration I have for you 🤙🏼
I had a pretty bad crash a few years ago, driving back past the spot of the crash for the first time was very weird. Well done Boothy for getting back so quick!
Amazing to see how Boothy has recovered in such a short space of time and to get back on a bike also. Totally inspiring. That man is made of strong stuff!! A Legend!! 👏👏
As a tear of prideful joy rolls down my face watching you ride around that poignant and historic ribbon of tarmac, i tip my cap to the legend that is boothy!
Good to see him back where he belongs. A lot of people would have given up but your passion and drive lives on! Good luck with the continued recovery Boothy and we look forward to seeing much more of you!
Tears my friend. Hope I can be half as strong as you , when tragedy strikes. True man you are. Genuine respect and admiration from me . Give the family a hug and crack on . Pawlak
Don't under estimate the power of what you're doing - this inspires me and thousands of others to face adversity head on. Thank you boothy and team 44T
Awesome to watch this and hear him doing bloody fine about everything. I felt sick af for a couple of months 44 weeks ago worrying about him during the worst times of his battle. Double hard bastard that man. 👊💥
You really have to love what you do to get back on a bike after that. I shattered my spine on a famous road in California, USA ( Ortega Highway ) and had to come back from that. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to still ride and so are you! Never give up on your dreams! Glad we can ride again! Ride Safe! Alex O
Well done boothy. Here is to the rest of your life enjoying being on two wheels! I rode around on your helmet last year, so felt a tincy wincy bit invested in your well being and recovery. It's lovely to see and hear you back at it.
What a top bloke! Boothy is a real inspiration for everyone, not just us bike folk. It must have been very therapeutic to return to the island and is another milestone in his recovery.
Just fantastic to see you back on our screens and, better still, back on a bike! That you're on the island is even more incredible. Whatever you've got needs bottling!! Good on ya Boothy!
Boothy is the man. To go through that and keep going is a lesson to everyone. Don't take things for granted. Nice to see the TT course at a more chilled pace too.
So glad for a catch up with Boothy. What a stud and true inspiration. So glad you've dealt with the demons of wrecking and not regretting anything. Bro love being sent your way my friend ❤
Good grief almost feels like I'm more emotional about this than Boothy is, full credit to the strength of character you possess, hopefully we'll see a bit more of you around moving forward
Total respect Boothy, what an inspiration you are to all of us. Great to have you back vlogging and giving us your words of wisdom, looking forward to far more from you in the future. Congrats on the wedding plans.

Mate! Feeling so privileged to have accompanied you round the course for the first time since the last time. Mega that you are back on the island and involved. Never ceases to amaze me that racers cover those roads in a fraction of the time and at multiples of speed than in this video. Welcome back into the game!
Great vid & amazing to see you back on a bike! I admire your fortitude & resillence Boothy. Also don't underestimate what a tough SOB you are & how amazingly well you've done to recover so quickly. Your matter of fact attitude is refreshing & I'm certain it's helped your recovery for sure. You're inspirational so don't change a thing. Ride safe buddy.

Congrats Boothy! Nothing like the feeling of getting back on a bike after a life changing accident, from this one -armed rider I say good luck and welcome back!!
Can I ask which arm you’ve lost and what mods you’ve made. I’m in a similar position and I’m wanting to get back on 2 wheels. I’m looking at a KTM 390 Duke or the new 2023 Ducati Scrambler. Any tips greatly received.
@@dean0368 Hi Giby, first up glad to see you're considering getting back on two wheels. I lost the use of my left arm in an accident 26yrs ago, I've been back riding for 23yrs now, currently on a GSXR1000. Let me know which arm you've lost and either I can help or a guy I know who lost his right arm who got back into riding after after seeing what I had done. ua-cam.com/video/qxJoWxWqQSA/v-deo.html
You're a fucking legend Boothy, a legitimate inspiration to anyone who has suffered any kind of injury that prevents someone from getting back on the saddle.
I remember reading about the accident and it was terrible news, really felt like hearing a mate had crashed. But I knew you had it in you to come out the otherside and get back on the horse, so so good to see, huge respect to you mate, welcome back 4️⃣4️⃣
Absolutely awesome mate, great positivity and amazing to see you back on the Island on 2 wheels so soon. 14th in the Senior is more than something to be proud of, it's good to hear you're happy with your achievements racing the TT and can go back to enjoying it with us mere mortals as a fan! Great to see you back on the channel. All the best!
Had my first racing crash that ended in an accident and significant injury in February and my first track day since yesterday. This just about brought forth the tears. So happy to see Boothy back out doing what he loves. Keep it up, mate!
