Yep, calculated/= correct, but in the lead up to things happening there are always times to say nah and slowdown but in the moment is something else.
You've lived more in those last 3.75 laps at the TT than most of us live in our whole life. You're a bloody legend Mike, glad you're still around brother.

When I was laid up in the hospital after a really bad wreck, my family thought I was crazy for wanting to get back on a bike as soon as I was able to. You need to face it directly to get on with it. Congrats Boothy, and good to see you back.
Boothy, Many individuals have won the TT over the years. How many names can we really remember but for a few? 293K subscribers plus will never forget the man, the myth, the ledgend, Mr. Mike Booth. You sir are more of a man than most of us could dream to be. A true inspiration. Now that the team is truely back I can't wait for more of the best motorcycle content on the web. I had a pretty bad crash a few years ago, driving back past the spot of the crash for the first time was very weird. Well done Boothy for getting back so quick!

Full respect to Boothy, even if he had chosen never to try to ride again it was his demeanor and drive to recover from his injuries with good days or bad days that is inspirational.
I broke 33 bones when a truck tire decided to introduce itself to my motorcycle on a highway.
Getting back on a bike ASAP was the best decision of my life. I applaud you Boothy. Well done.

Mate! Feeling so privileged to have accompanied you round the course for the first time since the last time. Mega that you are back on the island and involved. Never ceases to amaze me that racers cover those roads in a fraction of the time and at multiples of speed than in this video. Welcome back into the game!
This video has honestly put such a smile on my face.
I had a bad smash when I was 16, got hit side on by a car doing 60, few broken bones and some major skin grafts on my legs, i was lucky to be alive. I didn't really have any desire to ride a bike for a long time after that. It took me until I was 29 and for my 30th I wanted to pass my bike test and as you say get rid of any demons I had. Well I now have 3 bikes and I love to get out on the bike and it's the best feelings in the world but my safety is important. I want to get home to my kids and wife.
When you experience something with life changing injuries you look at things through a different lense. Not regret, but perceive things in a different light and you appreciate the smaller aspects of it.

I know a guy who's missing an arm and rides MX, and another who's a paraplegic who rides sport bikes and raced (125s) for a short while. Both were injured while riding. Both still love to ride. Good to see you back on two wheels.

Can I ask which arm you’ve lost and what mods you’ve made. I’m in a similar position and I’m wanting to get back on 2 wheels. I’m looking at a KTM 390 Duke or the new 2023 Ducati Scrambler. Any tips greatly received.

I lost the use of my left arm in an accident 26yrs ago, I've been back riding for 23yrs now, currently on a GSXR1000. Let me know which arm you've lost and either I can help or a guy I know who lost his right arm who got back into riding after after seeing what I had done.

You really have to love what you do to get back on a bike after that. I shattered my spine on a famous road in California, USA ( Ortega Highway ) and had to come back from that. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to still ride and so are you! Never give up on your dreams! Glad we can ride again!
