here is my pattern test of the new verdict ammunition 20 gauge load out of my savage 320 turkey with both the patternmaster code black turkey & patternmaster anaconda sriker at 40 yards!

Patterned tri star cobra 3 youth 24 inch barrel. Carlsons 555 was great at 40.with verdict 8s. The anaconda striker was not good. Surprised!! The striker is great for apex turkey ninja. For my gun
The tru loc 585 worked lights out for my boss tom 9s. My 555 was horrible. 570 anaconda was fair.
Overall you have to find what works in your set up.

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I can see it just fine. Rogers has the striker on sale for $45 I think. I’m going to get one for my 870 and a 320. It takes a mossberg/ Winchester choke doesn’t it? Calling verdict tomorrow. Question. What is it about the leads lead that causes you fits? I struggled last year getting 3 different guns sighted in using one. Probably will go to sand bags
Well this one is on me, the rifle sights weren’t sighted in as I’ve now only shot that gun 3 times, I’ll be switching to a meadow creek mount & reflex and it’ll be 👌🏽
I do like sand bags easier to settle in

What we shoot is always filmed and put on the channel we will be doing longer ranges
Good comparison with chokes. The brown paper shows up as good as the white.

I’m in market for a turkey gun I’ve had shoulder surgery I deer hunt with a243 savage could you tell me how the recoil is don’t wanna waste my money on something that kicks like a mule

Their 410 shells I have yet to see a good pattern from others but we’ve already tested it those vids are coming to the channel shortly
My buddy bought this exact same gun and is having a hard time finding choke tubes exactly for savage 320. Can you tell me exactly what choke tubes to get? Some forums say the browing fit but i can't find a brand that says it fits this exact gun.

We have more testing with it to do been waiting on moose to bring it so we can put more through it

I’m really eager to pattern this with a bunch of lead loads, but need the weather to warm up first
I have tried the LBXR in my 12 only. i shoot tss but For the money and not shooting long distance they hard to beat. $30/10shells and great for 0-50 yards with right choke
LBXR has killed a ton of turkeys for hawk, moose & myself it’s what we all shot since it came out

glad to see the 320 vids showing up. Will be shooting exact same gun with a Riton Reflex this season. Gonna pattern the stock choke which i think is .575 and an Indian Creek .555. Apex Ninja. Kinda worried about being overchoked with the Indian Creek.
Haven’t seen anything good from that tight of constriction in any of our setups but every gun is different!
.560-.575 is the sweet spot from our testing for 20 gauges

I agree that joker was lights out!! Out patterned the .555 side by side!
Apex 9s in my 301 with the IC .555 produces killing patterns at 40 & 60 yards on paper. Killed one at 35 with same set up in my affinity 3. But I haven’t tried many chokes yet to see what does better. I do know alot of people run the .555 in 20. But you may miss close. I have a Jebs .565 and CBT to try

Once you mark the holes brown vs white paper doesn’t matter! But before you mark the white is easier. But sweet patterns!

My budget setup I did a youth field model 320 for 170$ at Wally world. Picked up a couple Carlson chokes for a out $50 and then some Winchester double x #5 magnum lead loads. Cheap as hell but it will drop em.

some things are called constriction some are diameter
choke diameter compared to bore size would be constriction- which almost no one uses to mark the chokes but its the right way

@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA that's crazy..I've been turkey hunting since the early 80s..and $60 for 5 rounds...ive killed dozens and dozens of birds...10-50 yards...and for my money whinchester long beard xr can't be beat...#5-#6..but I understand it's the new thing 👍
With that said ..I just started hunting with a shotgun again 2 years ago...for the last 20 plus years..I was bow hunting only...no ground blind...no nothing...just calls...just knelt down behind a big tree...killed first one like that..in 1996..at that time I don't know of anyone who did that...try it lol !!! It's tough !!!!

That wouldn’t fit my ideal pattern then seeing how in a 20 gauge 1 5/8 Oz payload of 8’s would yield 408-410 pellets….
So if they are thats 86% of the shot in a 10 at 40… Not much leeway at 40 I’d pass lol
We have 8’a on their way wel see how they do but that is not ideal to me at all
No sir. I haven’t seen many 9s average that many pellets on 10 ring either. I’d rather float the head and kill em dead any day.
